Premier League goalkeepers are often the last players considered when building an Ultimate Team squad. Most players prioritise attackers first, followed by midfielders and defenders, before completing the team with a goalkeeper.
However, the right goalkeeper can make a decisive difference. Strong reflexes, reliable diving and good positioning can turn shots that look certain to become goals into important saves. Goalkeepers are also usually among the most affordable high-level players in the league.
Overall rating alone is not enough to identify the best option. Our ranking gives the greatest importance to reflexes and diving, while also considering the combined value of both attributes, handling, positioning, kicking and speed. The total face-stat score is included as an additional measure of consistency.
Height is also an important factor, especially when comparing goalkeepers with similar attributes. Taller players generally cover more of the goal and can be more reliable against shots aimed towards the corners or the upper part of the net.
The final scores combine these attributes with relevant PlayStyles and Skill Moves bonuses. They are intended to compare regular gold Premier League goalkeepers and do not include special items, Icons, Heroes and Hall of FUT.

Donnarumma is the outstanding choice. His 90 Diving and 90 Reflexes, combined with a 196 cm frame and Deflector+, give him the strongest all round profile in the league. Alisson is the closest challenger, with elite handling, excellent reactions and a very balanced set of goalkeeper attributes.
Raya offers the best total of the six face stats and is the quickest goalkeeper in this selection, although his 183 cm height reduces his final score. Martínez, Pickford and Mamardashvili are particularly strong alternatives: Martínez brings size and a useful PlayStyle+, Pickford has unrivalled kicking, while the 199 cm Mamardashvili is an excellent option for players who prioritise reach.
