A: Around 30 players.
Q: How are Future Stars chosen?
A: FUT Future Stars is a curated list of the hottest, breakthrough young prospects and what they could potentially be in FUT if they lived up to the hype. It’s not about young established stars who are starters or have played regularly for major clubs/countries. To be a future star, the player needs to be 23 years old or younger and cannot have been released in past Future Stars campaigns.
Q: Are Future Stars dynamic items?
A: No. Contrary to dynamic cards, these item do not change after being released.
Q: How are assigned the ratings of Future Stars items?
A: The ratings of these cards are based on the potential future ratings they may reach while on the top form of their professional careers. Inspired by the FIFA Database each FUT Future Stars’ rating is based on what a player could become if they live up their hype and fulfill their potential in the future. No other FUT card features a so high upgrade as the Future Stars cards do. Compared to their NIF items, the ratings may increase up to 20 points (!).
Q: How do Upgradable Objectives Players get upgraded?
A: Each Upgradable Objectives Player will have a dedicated objective that you can work through to earn the four versions of their Future Star item, simulating that player’s progression throughout their career. After unlocking the first version of the player, their subsequent items can be earned by completing various objectives with the latest unlocked version.
Q: Are these items available in FUT packs or in the transfer market?
A: Yes. Most of them can be found in packs and can be sold in the transfer market. However, a selection of untradeable Future Stars items can only be earned via squad building challenges or objectives.
Q: Do Future Stars items replace the respective regular cards in packs?
A: While a player gets his Future Stars item in packs, it is impossible to find his regular card there.
Q: I already own this player. Why my version wasn’t upgraded to the new Future Stars item?
A: If you own another version of an FS player, your card will keep unchanged. If you want the new version, you will need to buy it in the transfer market, find it in packs, complete the respective squad building challenge or objective.
Q: Can I own other versions of a Future Stars item in my club?
A: You can have multiple items of the same player in your club. However, you cannot use them in your squad at the same time.
