Introduction to the FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Guide
Building a team is the biggest challenge in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. It doesn’t need to be the best team, this is because the budget may not allow it, but it needs to be the player’s stature for him to obtain success.
When choosing which players to play with, you will have to look carefully at their attributes. Choosing a team based on ratings is one of the most common mistakes on FUT 15. It’s precisely this aspect that this guide focuses on. For each position, and focusing on the truly important attributes, we’ll show you who are the best athletes to choose.
It’s also important that the player checks to see if the player he chooses fits the formations he likes to play in. For example, a good full back will be useless if the player only uses a formation with three defenders. According to these formations, the player must be cautious and look at the work rate. Try to relate them with the ones we advise in our Formations Guide.
Last but not least, it’s mandatory that you tune all of your team so that the individual and team chemistry will be as high possible. For this last step to be easier, the majority of the players start to define the type of team they’re building. Some choose to gather players of the same nationality, while others decide to form a team of players from the same league. The most popular leagues are the Brazilian league and the Barclays Premier League. There are also more experienced players that can form hybrid teams without damaging team chemistry a lot.
All of these steps are necessary to have; or it could mean that the team is not always well built as it could be. This article aims to help those that want to form a FIFA 15 Ultimate Team based on players from the Barclays Premier League. Even the players that have a BPL team, could take out some valuable conclusions from this guide that could help you make your team even better.
We received thousands of comments about similar guides that we have published in previous years. Most of them have asked us to help improve their teams and the players they had. It’s important that the readers understand that this guide is simply guidance. It’s a theme too vast and the player combinations are almost infinite. Besides, there are various factors that influence the choices, like one’s style of play, the formations used, the available budget, the preferences or even the time spent playing. There’s still one uncertain component: a good player for someone might not be for another. If there was a better team everyone would fight to get it. Part of the fun of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is this: everyone has their personal club and players.
Another important point and that must stay very clear is that whoever is reading this guide, it’s about some criteria we chose and should be of everyone’s knowledge:
- In this guide we didn’t consider silver or bronze player. Most players don’t assume them to be a better option than gold players, so to simplify the guide’s analysis we didn’t include them. In the future we may come to publish guides exclusively talking about these categories.
- In this guide we didn’t consider In Forms (IF). They’re extremely expensive and in most cases are not considered good value for money. They should only be used by players with generous budgets, that already have the best team possible and that want small upgrades.
- In this guide we didn’t consider players that have been transferred to other clubs or that have been reviewed (UP). Only players that started their season in the Barclays Premier League and with their original attributes were considered.
- In this guide we didn’t consider changes made on a players performance such happens when applying training or chemistry styles cards.
- To make the comprehension of this guide easier we divided the players in nine distinct groups in order of their original position: Goalkeeper (GK), central backs (CB), right backs (RB and RWB), left backs (LB and LWB), central defensive midfielders (CDM) central midfielders (CM and CAM), right midfielders (RM, RW and RF), left midfielders (LM, LW and LF) and forwards (CF and ST).
- In the chapter where FIFA 15 Ultimate Team BPL teams are suggested, the prices considered are the ones of the date of the guide’s publication: October 2014. It’s natural that the prices have suffered some oscillations throughout the season, so they should only be considered as guiding prices.
Barclays Premier League
No league is as spectacular as the main football competition in the United Kingdom. The champions in the second biggest league in the world are made through the made points system. Whichever team gathers the most points wins the league. The top four teams gain access to the champions league of the proceeding year, while the last three trade places with the first three promoted teams from the Football League Championship. Every season starts in August and finishes in May, having 38 game weeks with 10 matches each, being a total of 380 matches per season.
The Barclays Premier League is the most watched football league in the world, broadcasted in 212 countries and in more than 600 million homes. It’s also the second football league with more assists and the second best league classified in the UEFA league coefficients.
Since the competition began in 1992 the Premier League has only been conquered by 5 clubs. The dominant club is Manchester United, with a total of 13 titles. London’s teams only won the league three times while Manchester City won it twice and Blackburn Rovers once.
As of last season, the BPL lost many good players such as David Luiz (PSG), Ashley Cole (Roma), Thomas Vermaelen (Barcelona), Demba Ba (Besiktas), Fernando Torres (AC Milan), Pepe Reina (Bayern Munich), Javi Garcia (Zenit St Petersburg), Micah Richards (Fiorentina), Alvaro Negredo (Valencia), Nemanja Vidic (Inter Milan), Patrice Evra (Juventus), Nani (Sporting Lisbon), Shinji Kagawa (Borussia Dortmund) and Javier Hernandez (Real Madrid), they’re good examples of this. But, the biggest outgoing transfer was Liverpool’s Luis Suarez move to Barcelona for £75 million pounds.
These transfers didn’t necessarily make the league weaker. The English teams spent £835 million pounds on strong reinforcements, more £200 million than in the previous season. The most popular transfers were David Ospina and Alexis Sánchez (Arsenal), Aly Cissokho (Aston Villa), Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Luis Filipe (Chelsea), Abel Hernandez (Hull City), Esteban Cambiasso (Leicester City), Mario Balotelli, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, Alberto Moreno and Divock Origi (Liverpool), Fernando and Mangala (Manchester City), Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Radamel Falcão (Manchester United), Rémy Cabella (Newcastle), Mauricio Isla and Eduardo Vargas (QPR), Fraser Forster, Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pellè (Southampton), Bafetimbi Gomez (Swansea City), Federico Fazio (Tottenham Spurs), Silvestre Varela (West Bromwich Albion), Enner Valencia, Cheikhou Kouyate, Diafra Sakho and Alex Song (West Ham United). But the biggest signing of the season was made between Madrid and Manchester United, with the purchase of Di Maria by the Red Devils for £60 million pounds.
The team making decisions are made tougher, but in a good way because of the vast quality of players in the league. Keep in mind since it is in the United Kingdom where FUT 15 is played the most, the Barclays Premier League is the most seen inside game’s teams. This means it is also the most expensive league, so it is not recommended for players with a limited budget.

FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Goalkeepers (GK)
Goalkeepers are the players that are used least on the field. Because of this they are also first ignored when building a team. Most players start their purchases with a forward, later they strengthen the midfield the defence and only later the goal. The truth is a good goalkeeper may be worth a lot of goals. They are a good investment because they are normally the most economically accessible players.
The goalkeepers with most prestige in the Barclays Premier League are the stalwart Petr Cech, the newly upgraded Hugo Lloris and the new young star Thibaut Courtois. With having the best rating they are also the most searched for by this league’s teams so this makes them more expensive.
MOST HIGH-RATED GOALKEEPERS
Thibaut Courtois | 86 | Chelsea | Belgium |
Hugo Lloris | 85 | Spurs | France |
Petr Čech | 85 | Chelsea | Czech Republic |
De Gea | 83 | Manchester Utd | Spain |
Simon Mignolet | 82 | Liverpool | Belgium |
Tim Howard | 82 | Everton | United States |
Joe Hart | 82 | Manchester City | England |
Asmir Begović | 82 | Stoke City | Bosnia Herz. |
Wojciech Szczęsny | 80 | Arsenal | Poland |
Michel Vorm | 79 | Spurs | Netherlands |
When choosing a good goalkeeper it’s not only down to his rating. There are two fundamental attributes for choosing a good goalkeeper: reflexes and diving.
The first measures a goalkeeper’s agility when making a save. The best on this aspect are Hugo Lloris, De Gea and Courtois.
GOALKEEPERS WITH BEST REFLEXES
De Gea | 88 | Manchester Utd | Spain |
Hugo Lloris | 88 | Spurs | France |
Thibaut Courtois | 88 | Chelsea | Belgium |
Joe Hart | 86 | Manchester City | England |

Simon Mignolet | 84 | Liverpool | Belgium |
Petr Čech | 84 | Chelsea | Czech Republic |
Wojciech Szczęsny | 84 | Arsenal | Poland |
David Ospina | 84 | Arsenal | Colombia |
Diving is a fundamental attribute when choosing a goalkeeper. It measures the capacity for a goalkeeper to make a save when jumping.
De Gea is also the best one with this attribute, with a slight advantage over Lloris. For those who are looking for the cheaper solution, Asmir Begović is a valid alternative.

De Gea | 87 | Manchester Utd | Spain |
Hugo Lloris | 86 | Spurs | France |

Petr Čech | 83 | Chelsea | Czech Republic |
Wojciech Szczęsny | 83 | Arsenal | Poland |
David Ospina | 82 | Arsenal | Colombia |
The most experienced Ultimate Team players know that another leaning factor on a goalkeeper’s performance without considering the remaining four attributes: height. The more tall a goalkeeper is, better his chances of having a clean sheet.
This is Hugo Lloris’s weak point. Even though he can’t be considered a short goalkeeper, the truth is he’s 13 cm short of the mighty Fraser Forster, this gold goalkeeper holds the title of tallest Barclays Premier League Goalkeeper. Cech and Courtois are both very tall goalkeepers.
TALLEST GOALKEEPERS | |||
Fraser Forster | 201 | Southampton | England |
Asmir Begović | 200 | Stoke City | Bosnia Herz. |
Thibaut Courtois | 199 | Chelsea | Belgium |
Petr Čech | 196 | Chelsea | Czech Republic |
Joe Hart | 196 | Manchester City | England |
Wojciech Szczęsny | 196 | Arsenal | Poland |
Mark Schwarzer | 194 | Chelsea | Australia |
De Gea | 193 | Manchester Utd | Spain |
Ben Foster | 193 | West Brom | England |
Alex McCarthy | 193 | QPR | England |
The choice for the best Barclays Premier League goalkeeper on FIFA 15 Ultimate team is not easy.
In our opinion, the position is in good hands (literally) if you choose Thibaut Courtois or Hugo Lloris. The two goalkeepers are equivalent on the most important attributes, but the Belgian is better in the other attributes. He is also 11 cm taller which makes all the difference.
De Gea is the one with better reflexes and diving, but in the other attributes he is not good enough. We recommend him only for those who frequently pass the ball to the goalkeeper.
When talking about cheapest goalkeepers our suggestion is Asmir Begovic. Only a few EPL goalkeepers have better reflexes and diving than him. Besides, he’s also the second tallest of them all, which takes out any doubt for those who still had any. For those who don’t want to choose him because of the difficulty of having good chemistry links with the centre back, Simon Mignolet is a good alternative.

FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Centre Backs (CB)
A goalkeepers task is made easier if in front of him are quality central backs. Their function is to stop the opponent from getting dangerously close to your team’s goal.
With the move of Vidic to the Calcio, Kompany is now the centre back with the best reputation in the Barclays Premier League. The remaining good players to consider because of experience are John Terry and Per Mertesacker, and by irreverence, Eliaquim Mangala and Jan Vertonghen come to mind.
HIGHEST RATED CENTRE BACKS
Vincent Kompany | 86 | Manchester City | Belgium |
Per Mertesacker | 83 | Arsenal | Germany |
John Terry | 83 | Chelsea | England |
Jan Vertonghen | 82 | Belgium | Tottenham |
Gary Cahill | 81 | Chelsea | England |
Martin Škrtel | 81 | Liverpool | Slovakia |
Laurent Koscielny | 81 | Arsenal | France |
Mamadou Sakho | 81 | Liverpool | France |
Phil Jagielka | 80 | Everton | England |
Federico Fazio | 80 | Tottenham | Argentina |
Eliaquim Mangala | 80 | Manchester City | France |
Ron Vlaar | 79 | Aston Villa | Netherlands |
Dejan Lovren | 79 | Liverpool | Croatia |
Joleon Lescott | 79 | West Brom | England |
Michael Dawson | 79 | Hull City | England |
On a centre back, two attributes assume particular importance on their performance: defending and the new attribute physical, which represents strength, stamina, aggression and jumping.
A player with better defending will have an easier chance of dispossessing the opponent and avoid him reaching your box.
It’s the case of the two best rated players: Kompany and Mertesacker. It’s really hard to get past them. The most experienced players are normally those who have a higher rating with this attribute. Terry, Gary Cahill and Skrtel prove this.
CENTRE BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Vincent Kompany | 87 | Manchester City | Belgium |
Per Mertesacker | 87 | Arsenal | Germany |
John Terry | 84 | Chelsea | England |
Gary Cahill | 84 | Chelsea | England |
Martin Škrtel | 82 | Liverpool | Slovakia |
Jan Vertonghen | 82 | Belgium | Tottenham |
Laurent Koscielny | 82 | Arsenal | France |
Ron Vlaar | 81 | Aston Villa | Netherlands |
Phil Jagielka | 81 | Everton | England |
Dejan Lovren | 81 | Liverpool | Croatia |
Federico Fazio | 81 | Tottenham | Argentina |
Joleon Lescott | 81 | West Brom | England |
Michael Dawson | 81 | Hull City | England |
Jonny Evans | 81 | Manchester United | England |
Rio Ferdinand | 81 | QPR | England |
The new physical attribute shows the old heading capability but also how likely the players are to win game with their body. This is a crucial attribute when looking for the best centre back.
In this chapter Huth, Mangala and Shawcross are the strongest ones.
CENTRE BACKS WITH BETTER PHYSICAL
Robert Huth | 86 | Stoke City | Germany |
Eliaquim Mangala | 85 | Manchester City | France |
Ryan Shawcross | 84 | Stoke City | England |
Mamadou Sakho | 83 | Liverpool | France |
Martin Škrtel | 82 | Liverpool | Slovakia |
Ron Vlaar | 82 | Aston Villa | Netherlands |
Younès Kaboul | 82 | Tottenham | France |
Marcos Rojo | 82 | Manchester United | Argentina |
Ashley Williams | 82 | Swansea City | Wales |
Vincent Kompany | 81 | Manchester City | Belgium |
Jan Vertonghen | 81 | Belgium | Tottenham |
Phil Jagielka | 81 | Everton | England |
Dejan Lovren | 81 | Liverpool | Croatia |
Federico Fazio | 81 | Tottenham | Argentina |
John Terry | 80 | Chelsea | England |
Defending and heading may be useless against fast opponents. It’s necessary to fight fire with fire. No one likes feeling impotent when seeing you get overrun by extremely fast players. Even though, in a way, centre backs aren’t that fast, every team needs one of these players with a high pace attribute.
The weak relish for heading by Kompany is in a way compensating due to his good speed. But there are faster players in the Barclays Premier League. The first on the list is Nedum Onuoha. We don’t consider him a viable option since he lacks the remaining attributes necessary for a good central back. Koscielny, Mangala and Smalling are also fast players. They possess these attributes and in that way they make themselves a viable option for a defence based on the BPL.
CENTRE BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Nedum Onuoha | 83 | QPR | England |
Laurent Koscielny | 81 | Arsenal | France |
Vlad Chiricheş | 81 | Tottenham | Romania |
Chris Smalling | 78 | Manchester United | England |
Eliaquim Mangala | 76 | Manchester City | France |
Marcos Rojo | 75 | Manchester United | Argentina |
Steven Caulker | 75 | QPR | England |
Curtis Davies | 75 | Hull City | England |
Gary Cahill | 74 | Chelsea | England |
Jonny Evans | 74 | Manchester United | England |
Younès Kaboul | 74 | Tottenham | France |
Matija Nastasić | 74 | Manchester City | Serbia |
Kolo Touré | 74 | Liverpool | Ivory Coast |
Winston Reid | 74 | West Ham | Australia |
Vincent Kompany | 73 | Manchester City | Belgium |
Kompany is our number one choice for this position. Fast and with good defending and attacking attributes, the Belgian is the most expensive of all centre backs in the Barclays Premier League.
In our opinion, Koscielny and Mangala are the centre backs that come closest to Kompany’s quality. The Frenchman, Koscielny, has a slight advantage because he a work rate more appropriate to his position. Jan Vertonghen and Marcos Rojo are also good options.

FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Right Backs (RB and RWB)
Full backs have the role of troubling the job of wingers. In addition, good full backs also support their team mates on offensive manoeuvres.
Choosing the best right back for a Barclays Premier League Team is an extremely hard choice. There are various valid options depending on the style of play. The first seven, seen below, are the most popular.
HIGHEST RATED RIGHT BACKS
Pablo Zabaleta | 82 | Manchester City | Argentina |
Branislav Ivanović | 81 | Chelsea | Serbia |
Bacary Sagna | 80 | Manchester City | France |
Mathieu Debuchy | 80 | Arsenal | France |
Séamus Coleman | 78 | Everton | Republic of Ireland |
Kyle Walker | 77 | Tottenham | England |
Rafael | 77 | Manchester United | Brazil |
Glen Johnson | 76 | Liverpool | England |
Àngel Rangel | 75 | Swansea City | Spain |
Daryl Janmaat | 75 | Newcastle | Netherlands |
There are very important attributes for any right back: defending and pace.
Since they’re defenders they should have good defending capacities. This reduces a team’s risk of conceding.
Ivanovic is the player that best fits this aspect. The only other players that offer any type of competition are the Manchester City duo Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta.
RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Branislav Ivanović | 86 | Chelsea | Serbia |
Pablo Zabaleta | 83 | Manchester City | Argentina |
Bacary Sagna | 81 | Manchester City | France |
Séamus Coleman | 78 | Everton | Republic of Ireland |
Mathieu Debuchy | 78 | Arsenal | France |
Kyle Walker | 76 | Tottenham | England |
Rafael | 76 | Manchester United | Brazil |
Àngel Rangel | 76 | Swansea City | Spain |
Glen Johnson | 75 | Liverpool | England |
Daryl Janmaat | 74 | Newcastle | Netherlands |
A flanked game tends to be faster than a game based in the middle of the field. The players that fill these spaces are obligated to be fast, both penetrating defensive and attacking moves of the team. Pace is one of the most important requirements for a good full back.
Kyle Walker is the fastest gold right backs in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. The English international player is far superior in this aspect when compared to every BPL full back. Besides Kyle Walker, only Rafael and Séamus Coleman may be considered reasonably fast players.
RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Kyle Walker | 91 | Tottenham | England |
Rafael | 83 | Manchester United | Brazil |
Séamus Coleman | 81 | Everton | Republic of Ireland |
Glen Johnson | 79 | Liverpool | England |
Mathieu Debuchy | 76 | Arsenal | France |
Daryl Janmaat | 76 | Newcastle | Netherlands |
Pablo Zabaleta | 74 | Manchester City | Argentina |
Bacary Sagna | 74 | Manchester City | France |
Branislav Ivanović | 67 | Chelsea | Serbia |
Àngel Rangel | 65 | Swansea City | Spain |
Pablo Zabaleta is the highest rated right back but once again, that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the best choice for this position. In our opinion him and Ivanović are the right choices for players that don’t use full backs to attack.
On the other hand there’s Kyle Walker. He has fantastic pace, good dribbling, passing and his high attacking work rate makes him a good player for those that see full backs as second wingers.
For those that search for an intermediate solution, in other words, a player that defends and attacks fairly, we advise Séamus Coleman. He is a very balanced athlete.
Best FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Right Backs
Best FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Left Backs (LB e LWB)
Left backs have exactly the same role of their team mates on the other flank. In other words, they try to make a winger’s job hard and participate in the team’s offensive manoeuvres.
There are three BPL players that stand out in this position: the solid Leighton Baines, the debutant Filipe Luis and the speedy Gaël Clichy.
HIGHEST RATED LEFT BACKS
Filipe Luís | 82 | Chelsea | Brazil |
Leighton Baines | 82 | Everton | England |
Gaël Clichy | 80 | Manchester City | France |
Azpilicueta | 79 | Chelsea | Spain |
Kieran Gibbs | 78 | Arsenal | England |
Aleksandar Kolarov | 78 | Manchester City | Serbia |
Alberto Moreno | 78 | Liverpool | Spain |
José Enrique | 77 | Liverpool | Spain |
Monreal | 76 | Arsenal | Spain |
Luke Shaw | 75 | Manchester United | England |
The vast experience of Filipe Luis, Clichy and Baines contribute decisively to make these players the three best defending left backs in the league. Even though being one of the fastest, using Luke Shaw should not be an option for teams where it’s necessary when defending frequently. He may be good in Career Mode but in Ultimate Team there are many players better than him.
LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Filipe Luís | 81 | Chelsea | Brazil |
Gaël Clichy | 80 | Manchester City | France |
Leighton Baines | 80 | Everton | England |

Aleksandar Kolarov | 78 | Manchester City | Serbia |
José Enrique | 77 | Liverpool | Spain |
Luke Shaw | 75 | Manchester United | England |
Alberto Moreno | 74 | Liverpool | Spain |
Monreal | 74 | Arsenal | Spain |
The promising, Anfield tied Alberto Moreno is the fastest left back in the English league. He makes his speed his biggest threat, and only Clichy can be compared with this stat.
LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Alberto Moreno | 87 | Liverpool | Spain |
Gaël Clichy | 85 | Manchester City | France |
Filipe Luís | 82 | Chelsea | Brazil |
Luke Shaw | 82 | Manchester United | England |
Kieran Gibbs | 81 | Arsenal | England |
José Enrique | 81 | Liverpool | Spain |
Azpilicueta | 79 | Chelsea | Spain |
Monreal | 78 | Arsenal | Spain |
Davide Santon | 78 | Newcastle | Italy |
Leighton Baines | 77 | Everton | England |
Clichy and Filipe Luis are with no question the best left backs playing in the Barclays Premier League. Clichy is faster, but the Brazilian player is generally a more complete player.
Leighton Baines and Alberto Moreno are valid alternatives to these two players but for different reasons. The first besides being an extremely balanced player is also a good crosser. He’s a good choice for more attacking teams. What is lacking to him, Moreno has a lot. He is the fastest left back, something so important in FUT 15. However, don’t ask much more that that from him.
Of all the remaining players, Kieran Gibbs is our cheapest choice. He doesn’t have the same efficiency as the others we referred too but he’s fast enough to cause some offensive damage and possesses reasonable defending.

Best FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Central Defensive Midfielder (CDM)
Many of the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team formations require some midfielders that have a natural aptitude to defend. Central defensive midfielders distinguish themselves for being especially aimed to help the more retreated line of their teams. According to their attributes and their work rates, they can also be useful for starting attacks. They are players that occupy a very strategic position in the field.
Now that Yaya Touré is a CM, Matic, Ramires and Gerrard are the players highest rated in this position.
HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS
Nemanja Matić | 82 | Chelsea | Serbia |

Alexandre Song | 79 | West Ham | Cameroon |
Marouane Fellaini | 79 | Manchester United | Belgium |
Daley Blind | 79 | Manchester United | Netherlands |
Cheick Tioté | 78 | Newcastle | Ivory Coast |
John Obi Mikel | 78 | Chelsea | Nigeria |
There are a variety of attributes in a central defensive midfielder that you have to give attention: defending, so that the first defender of team works; strength, so that you win all brawls in a prone area of the field; heading, to win possession in aerial moves like goal kicks; pace, so that you cover the most terrain on the field as possible; stamina, so they can equally participate in offensive and defensive moves (especially useful for players with high/high work rates); passing and possession so that he can properly start attacks. In our opinion the two first are the most important.
Normally using a central defensive midfielder is associated with having a deficit of elements in your defence. So, it makes sense that when you search for a player to occupy this position you’d want players that can defend.
The best central defensive midfielder play for Manchester City: Fernando. He is a good choice for teams that want to complicate an opponent’s game in the space between the midfield and the defence.

Mile Jedinák | 77 | Cystal Palace | Australia |
The area of the field occupied by the central defensive midfielders is the one where most ball disputes happen. Strong players will have a higher probability of winning the ball.
There’s a lot of muscle between the Barclays Premier League. Tioté, Obi Mikel, Fellaini, Wanyama and Carlos Sánchez are good examples of that. On the other hand there’s Ramires. Even though he’s a really special player, Chelsea’s Brazilian rarely wins a physical brawl due to being the weakest central defensive midfielder in the BPL.

Joey Barton | 80 | QPR | England |
Ramires is our favourite because he possess a much appreciated cocktail of work rate, pace and stamina which allows him to be everywhere. He is also the fastest and the CDM with highest accumulated score. He is weak physically, but if you have played with him in previous years, you will be pleasantly surprised. He is one of the players who most benefited from the fitness changes introduced this year.
There are still very good options that offer a cheap price but still good quality wise, like Matic. For those who want an element that offer defensive solidity to the team, Fernando is a very interesting choice. For those that search for someone that can roam to further zones around the pitch, Tioté is a player to considered.

A lot of games are decided in the midfield and not close to the goals. The players that play in these zones are the ones that should create the game and define its rhythm.
It’s in midfield that there’s more quality in the Barclays Premier League. Some of the world’s best footballers play there. It’s the case of the Touré, Ozil and the newcomer Di Maria.

Centre midfielders are responsible for discovering lines that break the opponents defence. Their passing quality has to be really good so they can assist forwards.
Even though Ozil and Mata have a great passing stat, Fábregas is the one who does it better in the whole Barclays Premier League.

Di Maria is the most interesting player in the Barclays Premier League Midfield. He is levelled with the best players at various attributes, like passing, dribbling, pace and long shots.
Another essential player is Yaya Touré, in large parts because of his amazing strength and stamina. He is a very balanced player but his new medium-medium work rate doesn’t let him to give everything he has to give to the team. In our opinion, he was the best FIFA player in the past few years, but he is not any more. Obviously, he is still a wonderful player but if you were used to playing with him, you will notice a considerable difference.
Ozil, Mata, Fábregas and Oscar are cheaper players that can perform well their roles as centre midfielders.
Our cheapest choice falls to Coutinho. Even though he isn’t very physically powerful, the Brazilian is fast dribble and is a good passer.

Best FUT 15 Barclays Premier League Right Wingers (RM, RW e RF)
The wingers are responsible for giving game width in the attack. They’re normally very explosive players.
The right side of the midfield was in earlier seasons the weak point of Barclays Premier League based teams. The addition of Alexis Sánchez to this league and the passage of Willian from left to right side came as a solution to this problem.

There are three fundamental attributes for a winger: pace, dribbling and passing.
Pace is probably the biggest weapon of these players. They use it to evade opponents and getting to the other side, many times via sprints on the side lines.
The Barclays Premier League is extremely well served in this chapter. Five gold players have pace over 90, being the highlighted sprinter Theo Walcott, the fastest gold player of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team.

Just being fast doesn’t cut it to reach the opponents box, having good dribbling to surpass the opponents’ players that appear on the way.
There are a lot of players gifted in dribbling, being Willian and Alexis Sánchez the best.

When reaching the opponents box the winger has to decide what to do. Normally, they choose to cross to the forwards. That is why it’s important for them to have good passing.
The weakest point of the Barclays Premier League Wingers is surprising – passing. Only James Milner offers good quality passing. Sterling, for example, could’ve been an option to consider filling this slot in virtue of his fantastic pace, but he’s affected negatively for missing frequently passes to his more forward team mates.

Aléxis Sánchez and Willian are clearly the most indicated players to occupy this position in a team without budget restraints. Our preference goes toward the Brazilian player that even though has worse shooting can be faster and help the defence more due to his work rate being high/high and great stamina. However, if you are looking for someone for this position with good shooting, Sánchez may be a better choice. Navas is the third name in our list.
From the most popular there’s also James Milner. That even though has good passing, he is the slowest of the whole league. We discourage this purchase.
For those that can’t pay so many coins there’s a player that doesn’t diverge far from the best: Kevin Mirallas. The Belgian is as fast as Sánchez, has almost better dribbling than Navas and passes much better than the Chilean player. Besides having a work rate adjusted to the position he occupies he is still has a 4 star week foot and 4 star skill moves.

With the exception of Podolski that isn’t a natural born dribbler there’s a proportional quality between the left winger and his dribbling. It’s natural that Hazard, David Silva, Nasri and Santi Cazorla are the ones most highlighted in this chapter.

Hazard’s price is prohibits him from many budgets, proving the worth of the player. He’s without a doubt the best Barclays Premier League left winger. He’s the fastest one and the best dribbler. He possesses a series of other developed attributes such as balance, agility, acceleration and ball control. We only discourage him for teams that will need him defending, given his work rate high/low. David Silva is also a wonderful player but not for this position. He is a top-quality player, especially in ball control and passing, but his pace is not enough to convince us.
For those that don’t want to pay as many coins for the Belgian, Christian Eriksen is the most complete player and for that reason, our cheapest choice. Nasri and Cazorla are not fast enough and André Schürrle has bad passing stats.
One of the most used players in the BPL is Podolski. Even though he’s the one that has the best shooting, his passing and dribbling don’t convince us.

To score goals shooting is necessary. If either by foot or head, the most important attribute for a forward are: shooting, heading and pace.
Most goals are scored with the foot so good shooting is a necessary attribute for a forward.
Robin Van Persie is the third best shooter of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. Only Cristiano Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic are superior. Besides his team mates Wayne Rooney and Falcão, Aguero possess an above average shot. This means the best forwards are the ones that best shooting.

Jump, strength and stamina are the ingredients to the new physical attribute, very important when we are analysing the best forwards: jump to score with the head; strength to dispute the ball with the opponents; and stamina to sprint in direction of goal at any time of the game.
That’s here where we see that Diego Costa and Rooney are great players. Aguero and Robin Van Persie, for example, are in the bottom of this list.

Depending on the style of play and formation, having good shooting and heading may not be enough for a striker. Especially in games that privilege counter-attack, pace is a very important attribute.
Eto’o is not a fast striker any more. Compared to FUT 14, his pace was downgraded by 15 (!) points, leaving Remy alone at the top of the fastest strikers in the Barclays Premier League. In a way, the 34 Forwards of this league are fast players, but not as fast as the Frenchman.

In our opinion, Aguero and Diego Costa are the best BPL strikers. The Manchester City player has a slight advantage due to his better pace and shooting. Even though he’s not the best at any of the basic attributes, no other BPL forward surpasses him in ball control, acceleration and balance.
Choosing the best Barclays Premier League forward is a bit subjective because it depends on everyone’s style of play. It is always missing something to the best alternatives to Aguero and Diego Costa: Van Persie is slow; Falcão isn’t as good as in the previous year now that heading bug was fixed; Wayne Rooney plays better as CF or even CAM than as a striker; and Sturridge has bad passing.
Far from these strikers quality, Benteke is our cheapest choice. Him and Lukaku may cause a lot of damage on the opponents defence.

Barclays Premier League Team Suggestions
A lot of people think that this is the most important part of the guide. It’s not. The thing that is really important to know is how to choose players based on their role and style of play that fits each player. The team suggestions that follow are simple graphic indicators of what we wrote previously. They should serve merely as orientation because it’s impossible to build a team that fits everyone. They depend on various factors we don’t know such as budget, formation, style of play and player preferences.
To try and explore the needs of the maximum player as possible we suggest three teams with different budgets and formations: 4-1-2-1-2 with unlimited budget, 4-3-3 with 50k budget and 4-4-2 with a 10k budget.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
Thibaut Courtois comes from the Spanish league and is already the best possible option as a goalkeeper for a Barclays Premiere League squad. Although Lloris is a valid choice, the Belgian is still definitely better especially for being way taller than him.
Kompany keeps on being the boss of the defensive foursome for all and a few more reasons. Both Mangala and Koscielny are great potential partners for Man City’s centre back. In our understanding, Koscielny’s well-adjusted work rates are more important than Mangala’s air balls dominance. Kyle Walker imposes himself with his tremendous pace to gain the right back position, while the left back Filipe Luis is way too complete to simply stay out of this squad.
Although Yaya is originally a CM in FUT 15, the CDM position works like a charm for him. He’s no longer so much of a box-to-box player now with the new medium-medium work rate. If you need someone with these characteristics, don’t hesitate to choose Ramires as well. For the next position, Di Maria is our natural choice. The Argentinian is so good that you’ll probably think to yourself what of a waste it is that you can’t use him on the wings.
Probably the most debatable decision is on whether you choose Willian or Aléxis Sánchez. In general we’ve got kind of a technical draw. It all depends on your game style. If you want someone that will interact more with the strikers, choose Sánchez. If your preference is to distribute the ball to the rest of the team, you should be good with Willian. Now, more than ever, Eden Hazard is so brilliant there’s just no chance he could stay out of the left midfield.
If your budget allows you, of course, Agüero and Diego Costa are the obvious choices for the attack line. The biggest surprise, however, is maybe how Sturridge now takes Falcão or Robin Van Persie’s spot on the bench, but the truth is that the young lad’s characteristics are just more appropriate to the FIFA 15 gameplay style.
Once all the players reach maximum individual chemistry you can go without a manager for your squad. They’ll be of no use and still spend contracts.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
At the goal, Begovic is an authentic bargain that will actually stand shoulder to shoulder against popular goalkeepers such as Petr Cech and Tim Howard.
Mangala is the most expensive player in this squad but he’s definitely worth every penny. By his side, another player that was originally from the Liga Portuguesa: Marcos Rojo. The young argentinian has got good defending characteristics and his work rate makes up for Mangala’s. Coleman’s assertiveness and Alberto Moreno’s speed will complete our defending foursome.
The central midfield position has to be Matic’s. The serbian builds up the first barrier between your goal line and the opponent, making his defensiveness and physicality count. Coutinho, which still has maximum individual chemistry even playing as a CAM, and Wilshere complete the midfield.
While Mirallas beats the concurrence by the right wing, Eriksen or Nasri could equally fill with quality the opposite side.
Over the attack line, Lukaku or Benteke are excellent choices. They’re very similar to each other and are good for their pace, strength and resistance mainly.
If you still have some room in your budget, Kyle Walker, Koscielny and Willian are players that would improve this squad a lot.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
Szczesny is the most expensive player in this squad but he’s most likely to be seen as an investment of certain return.
The same goes for the rest of the defence. Maybe except for Smalling, all of the players are costing less than they were supposed to considering their actual quality.
On the midfield, Tioté and Rosicky complete each other well. The first one is kind of a smaller and more defensive version of Touré, and the second is an experienced player that’s usually more advanced and is used to assisting his colleagues. Lamela and Arnautovic fill the wings in order to assist Bony and Zárate.
Follow our tips and you’ll become more successful on FIFA 15 Ultimate Team with your Barclays Premier League Team
I should use henderson(tots) or ya ya toure for CDM?
Yaya is better to play as CDM. Much stronger and better heading/defensive skills.
I should use van Persie-Diego costa or aguero-harry kane(tots) for ST ? between di maria- rooney who is better?
aguero-harry kane(tots) with Di Maria on the back.
Hi, what do you think?
GK-Begovic
RB-Walker
CB-Onuoha, Koscielny
LB-Azpilicueta
CM-Ramires, Fabregas, Wilshere
RF-Cuadrado
ST-Diego Costa
LF-Schurrle
Nice cheap squad.
How come I don’t see Cuadrado mentioned as RM anywhere? Also, I have Eriksen as CAM, and he plays beastly!
And Ramires as CDM for his speed/def(he’s also a decent attacker)
Besides that, I agree with your choices, as my team has the same line-up (without Hazard and Aguero, pricey…)
Hi.
You are reading our first guide, published in October.
Cuadrado is our best choice for that position in our new guide (UO’s and winter transfers) that you can find here.
Hello,
Really nice and detailed description. I have implemented a lot of it in my premiership team. I however have 1 question.
In my original squad I had Joe Hart as goalie. He does very well on diving and reflexes. Even better then your top bargain. I was wondering why you didnt consider him as an option?
Did you look at work rate or something? If anything, does workrate effect online play?
Hi. Work Rate was important in our analysis but not for GK.
I can’t find why Joe Hart is better than Begovic, for example. They are very similar in positioning, diving and reflexes. Hart has much better speed and kicking but these stats are not much important. Begovic has better handling and he is less expensive.
I really can’t imagine why everybody is trying to spend as much money on a team as they can, leaving very good players (but with lower stats) out of competition.
In my opinion: First buy Leroy Fer. For any position… (but hey, preferably has CM of course). Has a great work rate, very hard to pass. It’s a bargain. Let’s call him the cheap Touré. Players like Sissonko and Bolasie are very underrated. Very hard to defend those as wingers. McGeary, much more useful than Jesus Navas… Also for his good work rate: Fernandinho (but I like him or Fer next to Ramires).
So much good players which will make a much more cheaper team, but not necessary weaker!
If you want to save a few coins use Beganovic
There are more than 350 comments in this page. In our opinion, that is more than enough to complement the guide. You can find in both the answers you are looking for. That’s why we will not answer to more questions about BPL squads and we will delete any future comment.
Thank you.
For CM would you prefer Gerrard or Fernandinho?
Fernandinho

Hi Rodrigo, this is going to be a extensive comment, i have some doubts and i’ll really appreciate if you answer all.
I currently have a 4-3-2-1 with
Howard
Walker Rojo Mangala Moreno
Fer Tiote Ramsey
Walcott Schurrle
Benteke
I really like this team, but there are some positions i don’t think are working pretty well. So i was thinking in buy some players and the team would like like this:
De Gea
Walker Rojo(I really like him) Mangala Clichy
Fernandinho Matic Ramsey
Walcott Schurrle
Sturridge
It’s not changing too much because i only have a 20k budget to waste. Does this new team look good for you? In work rates, balance of the midfield, what do you think? Also, i have some doubts in some players… i don’t like Walker too much, which RB do u recommend? Fernandinho is good or should i try Paulinho or other player? Is Willian good enough to replace Walcott or they are both equally good? Sturridge worth it? (I tried Remy and i didn’t like it very much)
So, what do you think of all? every other recommendation you can have for my team would be really great. Thanks for your amazing work.
Hi!
I can answer to your questions but all of them (or at least almost all of them) are explained in this guide.
I can say that I believe Begovic is a cheaper quality choice, for example. Sturridge can be replaced by Benteke and Walcott by Willian.
Regards
Hi Rodrigo! Very nice guide, it helped me a lot 😀
Just a quick question…. I already made the 50k Budget Team with the improvements: Willian, Koscielny and Walker (like you said). What’s the next step?? I would like to improve the miedfielders, and Eriksen do not convice me… What do you think?
Thanks a lot!
Why not Ramires ?
Great guide I currently play 5-2-1-2 with Rojo, Kaboul And Smalling as my Cb’s is their any better cheap improvement? And additionally I like to play on the break currently my front 3 Is Barkley, Lukaku and Benteke, is there any cheap improvement?
Thanks Jonny
Remy is really cheap now. He may be an option too.
If you save a few coins, buy Mangala and Koscielny.
Regards
Thank for the advice I bought Remy and I think he’s the best striker I’ve played with, I also now have Ashley Young and Miralles on the wings instead of Eriksen and Lamela. I also now have Vertonghen at the back With Azpilacueta, Rojo, Kaboul And Coleman.. Should Koscielny be my next buy? Thanks again.
Yes, he should.
Great site again. I’m currently playing with your unlimited budget team without Hazard or Toure. I have Schurrle and Ramires in their places. I’ll have enough soon to upgrade one of them. Who do you recommend I get first?
Defiantly get hazard, he;ll really complete your attacking force, short passes and dribbling is his strengths and he has a nice finesse shot. Ramires is a very good devesnive player with good pace. He will look nice in your squad for now. Also Hazard is slightly cheaper than Yaya.
Hows this
GK- Courtois (Lloris, De Gea)
LB- Baines (Moreno)
CB- Kompany (Terry)
CB- Koscielny
RB- Walker
CDM- Ramires
CDM- Matic (Fellaini)
CAM- Coutinho (Fabregas, Gerrard)
LM- Hazard (Schurrle)
RM- Willian (Sterling, Salah)
ST- Sturridge (Remy, Balotelli)
Save coins for a better ST.
Hi Rodrigo.
I have 1,5 million coins for buy a great team. BPL.
Now Sanchez got new IF card as LW. What do you think is he better then Hazard?, if you say yes, his position is LW, and who take me to RW? or take Sanchez (LW) to LM, and RM Willian?
What do you think?
Thank your answer.
Hi, sorry for intrude but I would suggest tou buy IF Alexis.
He is faster than Hazard, better shooter especially in long shots something very useful in a winger.
Hazard is a better in passing, but IF Alexis is better crosser, which is more important. Also with IF Alexis you have a winger who can deffend, his work rates are more appropiate than Hazard.
Alexis has 3 stars of weak foot, but since he is LW and right footed, when you go inside he wil be shooting with his good leg, and with 87 long shots, you will cause a lot damage, trust me.
Regards.
In my opinion Hazard is still the best one in the left side.
THX boys. 🙂
So Left side still Hazard. and Right side Sanchez. 🙂
ST- Aguero, Roony, Costa.
CAM – Di Maria. etc….
and if I allowd myself buying IF De Gea. maybe. or pls suggest me some great players. I have 1,5 million coins 🙂
Good game.
I don’t know your full team.
Sorry,
So the full team is still your suggested Best BPL team, and subs.
Nobody IF.
I think this is the best idea. 🙂
Or what do you think? IF De Gea? or IF Clichy?
THX.
IF De Gea.
This might help you https://www.futhead.com/15/players/40827/alexis-sanchez/compare/14-72/
I looked that earlier. But sorry, IF Sanchez not RM, or RW. 🙁
So I get from 35k pack, Ibra, so 🙂 this is good for me.
ST: Aguero and Ibra. 🙂 not too bad.
Gonzalo, what about your team?
My team right now is Casillas, Alves, Ramos, Pepe, Alba, Busquets, Iniesta, Modric, James, Suarez and Neymar as LF with the minimal 7 of chemestry.
I wanna build a hybrid team but right now don’t have the time…
Hows this
GK- Courtois (Lloris, De Gea)
LB- Baines (Moreno)
CB- Kompany (Terry)
CB- Koscielny
RB- Walker
CDM- Ramires
CDM- Matic (Fellaini)
CAM- Coutinho (Fabregas, Gerrard)
LM- Hazard (Schurrle)
RM- Willian (Sterling, Salah)
ST- Sturridge (Remy, Balotelli)
suggestions???
Hi rodrigo, what would be your recommended team for 200k? bpl
It depends of your play style, formations, etc…
Maybe Lloris, Walker, Koscielny, Mangala, Filipe Luis, Matic, Willian, Shurrle, Mata, Rooney and Sturridge
Hi rodrigo, I just made a huge profit so now I have 350, what would be the best team bpl?
Just use the unlimited budget team we suggest and replace the most expensive ones for their substitutes.
Hi Rodrigo i need your opinion on some improvements in my squad(4-1-2-1-2)
Starters Subs
GK=Lloris Begovic
RB=Coleman Walker
RCB=Koscielny Vertonghen
LCB=Mangala Cahill
LB=Filipe Luis Baines
CDM=Ramires Paulinho
LM=Schurrle Eriksen
RM=Willian Walcott
CAM=Mata Coutihno
LST=Diego Costa Balotelli
RST=Jovetic Sturridge
I am considering buying Rooney to replace Coutinho, Falcao to replace Jovetic and i dont know if Cech is a good investment to replace Begovic..Also i need 10k more to buy Kompany which means i wont buy none but Kompany..Your opinion or other suggestions that i havent thought already? Thanks a lot
Hi.
In my opinion you are OK with Begovic. That will help you to get Kompany.
Falcao is just a decent player. Take a look to other options to this position.
I finally bought kompany and my next target is Rooney to replace coutinho…what do you think?also I am thinking de gea to replace begovic..thanks again
Go ahead!
Well i decided to buy Rooney although i spent all my coins and now i dont know whick gk to buy..De Gea,Hart or keep Begovic?
Keep with Begovic.

Hi.
Maybe you should try Barzagli in the first eleven.
Our suggetsions: Kompany, Koscielny and Lukaku.
who do i get rid of
CB’s and Remy
ok cool thanks
and one last thing should i replace Fellaini with Gerrard??? or what is was thinking of is change him to CAM and swap him with Coutinho cause of his Passing and shooting?? which one would be better or should i leave it
It depends of your style. If you play a physical football, you are better with Fellaini. If you usually shot outside the box, Gerrard is better.
Team:
4-1-2-1-2
Main team:
Curtois
Clichy IF / Koscielny / Kompany / Coleman
CDM – Toure
Hazard / Wilian
Mata
Costa/Aguero
Other players: Walker, Lloris, Mangala, Filipe Luis, Ramires, Schurle, Ozil. Falcao, Sturidge, Lukaku, Fabregas, Defoe, Turan, Benat, Mikel, Fabregas, DiMaria
Problem: i can`t seem to be able to win Barclays PL in quick mode, getting beaten by Manchester United and Manchester City.
Any ideas ?
You already have the best BPL squad possible.
Maybe you should try another formations.
Thanks Rodrigo, I already bought Sirigu, so hopefully he can help me more… so that’s why if I;m playing with Brazillian Defenders and it goes on 1 on 1 with the GK, most of the time Courtois cannot save it, maybe it’s because of his individual chemistry..
Thanks a lot.
Bu the way Rodrigo, For sure your playing FUT. so can we know what team and players do you have? We always ask you regarding our team, so right now we will ask you regarding your team.. hehe hope you reply.. for sure many of us want to know your list of team and players.
Hi.
We have a topic about that. You can see it here.
Also Rodrigo,
My squad right now are
Courtois
Filipe Luis, T Silva, D Luiz, D. Alves
Ramires
Hazard, Di Maria, Willian
Costa and AGuero
Bench and Reserves:
Koscielny,Walker, Kompany, Clichy,
Yaya Toure, CAM Rooney, Remy, Sturridge, Schurlle, Alexis and Walcott
if you can look on defense I have the Brazillians, and my Chemistry is still 100 percent
My question is should I use BPL Defense Team? Walker, Koscielny, Kompany, Filipe Luis?
or much better with the Brazillian Defenders?
Any more suggestions who to get?
and how to improve my team?
Hi.
To me Brazilian defenders are better but check if Sirigu is not a better option due to individual chemistry of Courtois.
Don’t have any more suggestion. You have a top squad !
Hi Rodrigo….
my formation is 41212
for your suggestion… yaya toure should be CDM? or should I use Ramires as CDM?
And CAM? Di Maria or CAM Toure or CAM Rooney?
In my opinion it should be Yaya as CDM (Ramires is good but he will be out of position many times due to his work rates) and Di Maria as CAM.
Who are the best silver bpl strikers
Sorry, but we haven’t analysed silver players.
Hi Rodrigo
May I ask you for good defenders and strikers
Kompany. Aguero. For more details please read our guide.
Thanks,
One last qustions
Who of those player should i buy first?
A defender or a midfield?
Thanx

What do you believe i shoulf improve the most?
I was thinking of players like koscielny, walker and fernandinho…
Ill be thrilled to listen to your opinion
Hi.
You have a great team.
Koscielny, Walker and Fernandino seems nice additions. Kompany amd Ramires would be even greater.
Hi Rodrigo.I have best possible bpl squad. They played around 20 games perfect for me and i won every game with bpl side.Suddenly, they stopped to run,my wingers become very defensivly and they are out of their posessions.Di Maria is awful, too. He was very good, but now he is very bad.Same for Aguero,Costa and Toure.Should I sell them and try with some other league or what? Many thanks again 😀
You should stop playing for a couple of days and then try again with positive attitude.
Hi Rodrigo… I have a question…
will the players and the coin that you have on FIFA 15 will be carry over on FIFA 16? or what are the things that will be carry on in FIFA 16?
No, they don’t. You just keep with the club’s name, XP level, FC credits and FIFA Points.
Learn more about it here.
Hi,
I am running a 4-3-3(2) and my squad is-
Gk- Begović (Weidenfeller as backup)
CB- Mangala and Koscielny (Fazio as backup)
LB- Filipe Luis (Azpilicueta as backup)
RB- Walker
CDM- Matić
CM- Oscar and Couhtino (Wilshere as backup)
RW- Mirallas (Salah as backup)
LW- Schürrle (Erikson as backup)
ST- Remy (Ruis Costa as backup whom I have changed to a center forward)
Any suggestions? I don’t have many coins right now.
If you don’t have coins, then you will not be able to improve your squad.
The team looks good.
Ok so now I have about 300k coins and I have no idea who to get. I really like Remy up top and I also like Schürrle and Mirallas at the wings.
Kompany, Touré, Mata and Willian.
Hi rodrigo,
I currently use a 4-3-3 (4) team with:
Begovic/coleman-vertongen-mangala-clichy/ ramsey- wilshere/ mata/ william- benteke- schurle
Some backups are lukaku, erikesen, coutinho, apulinho and rojo.
I have no idea what to improve next… I was thinking sturridge, but i love benteke too much to take him away the starting eleven ( 25 games 42 goals)
What are your recommendations??
Yours faithfully
Hi!
I think you have a really nice team. In my opinion you need someone to your midfield. Ramires, for example, would be nice.
Rodrigo,
This is my current team
GK: Szczesny
LB: Moreno
CB: Kaboul/ Vertonghen
RB: Debuchy/Rafael (Felt Debuchy was a good balance between speed/defense)
CDM: Fernandinho (Has a high defensive stat for a CM and switched to CDM)
LM: Eriksen
CAM: Ozil (Cabella backup)
RM: Navas (Chamberlain backup)
ST: Remy/Welbeck (Diouf backup)
Currently saving up for Sturridge but now thinking about buying Benteke after reading your article.
Is there any position I should be focusing on besides striker? Any quick fixes or flaws? Thanks!
Hi.
You have a good low budget team. I think you are in the right way.

Hello again rodrigo

LCm:di Maria
Rw:Alexis Sanchez

St:Diego costa
Is there any improvements that I should make?
Thank you for any advice.
Hi.
The only thing that it is not OK is Reus. I know that he is a really great player, but he is damaging the squad’s chemistry. Our suggestion is to save for Hazard.
Hi could you leave me any improvements for my bol squad in a 4-3-2-1 formation. I like to play with lots of threw balls and lobs.
GK) de gea
RB) walker
CB) Kocselny
CB) mangala
LB) Luis
CM) Oscar, Rooney, Wilshire
LF) Hazard
ST) aguero
RF) Sanchez
Hi.
Kompany, Di Maria and Touré would be perfect.
I have De Gea who I got for 3k and he is really good I would recommend him
I use a 3-4-3 and my players are
GK-Courtis
CB- Terry Klosheiny Kompany or Mertasaker
LM- David Silvia
RM- Sanchez
CM- Di Maria/ Mata/ Fabrages/ Toure/ or i changed Wayne Rooney to CM
LW- Hazard
RW- Willian
ST- im not sure who to use i have RVP, Aguero, Diego Costa, Flacao
Just windeing who to use at CM and Striker
Di Maria and Touré are the strongest ones. Diego Costa is great to play as the only striker.
hello rodrigo

rb:colman
lb:gibbs
cdm:matic

lm :eriksen
rm: millares
st:lukaku – benteke
i have 20k .. what improvements should i do ?
Here are a few suggestions: Begovic, Mangala, Mirallas and Coutinho.
jovetic is better or benteke
and cabella or coutinho is better
and i need rm better than mirallas
You can find the answers for your questions in our guide.
ok thanks rodrigo
Hello Rodrigo,
This is my team: 41212
Hart
Zabaleta koscieñny mangala baines
Fernandinho
Willian mata Schurlle
Welbeck balotelli
I have never pass to season 1, i have been playing in season 2 and 3 for at least 15 times. I was expecting to give some quality to my team in the cam o st position but i havent find the player. I have tried with lots, specially to replace welbeck and mata, but i havent found the one. I have tried with sturridge, lukaku, jovetic, vargas and many more, but none of them has the passing skill as good as welbeck and i need it a lot.
I was expecting if you give me your opinion on who should i try on my team.
The way i play i quite simple, i give the ball to the two strikers and the cam, and i let them do their things, but in my opinion they all lack something in order to make my team ascend to season one.
My buget isnt big, its not bigger than 40k.
Thank you for your time.
To be honest you already tried the best ones for your budget. Maybe you should save a few coins to buy a better player.
And what player is similar to welbeck? Whom should i try instead of mata?
Maybe Lukaku or Sturridge.
41212 formation I have with that squad
GK Courtois
CB Filipe Luis
CB Vertonghen
CB Cahill
RB Ivanovich
CDM Gerrard
LM Silva
CAM Mata
RM William
ST Remy
ST Sturbridge
Sub’s
LM Reus
CAM Ozil
CDM Matuidi
RM Walcott
CB Mangala
CB Sako
LM Nasri
I’m looking for an upgrade either in ST or CDM. I have 40k and I’m wondering whether to sell reus as I usually bring him on as a sub. What do you think would benefit me the most.
Great site Rodrigo, really appreciate the work you do here
Hi.
If you don’t use Reus, sell him to buy a good striker. Ramires is our suggestion for CDM.
Hi Rodrigo, great info on this page, been using it to build up my squad.
This is how I look at the moment:
4-1-2-1-2
Begovic
Ivonavic, smalling, mertesacker, kolarov
Matic
Mirallas,eriksen
Coutinho
Benteke, dzeko
Subs – Forster, rafael, onouha, podolski, lamela, wilshere, drogba
Carrick in reserves.
Couple of questions:
I’ve got 12k coins – any recommendations to strengthen squad?
I like the formation, but like to have pace on the wings out wide,is there a better formation for me?
Thanks
The formation is OK for your players. Only you can know if it is good for your play style.
You have a decent team but with a really low budget. You need to make a few more coins. Read a few of our guides to know how to make, at least, 10k per day without troubles.
I think you should focus in a new CB. Mertsesacker is too slow. You can try Koscielny or Managala, for example.
I need a decent cam di maria is way too expensive
Ive tried
Taarabt (not good)
Contiho (too week)
Rooney (slow and often defends when should be attacking)
Cabella (great but more a sub)
Roos barkley (not bad but not quite doing it for me)
Cant seen to find one suitable in the bpl
In using 4-1-2-1-2 formation
Ozil, Mata, Fábregas, Oscar ?!
Hi Rodrigo, what do you think what is better:Van Persie-Costa or Falcao-Costa in formation 4-1-2-1-2.Thanks
Maybe RVP-Costa. But it depends of your play style.
Ok,thanks :D,but one more questions:as a second squad i have extra bbva with Bale,Neymar,if Kros(3 most expinsive players). Now should i sell them and buy subs in bpl and play just with them
It is a decision that it’s up to you.
Analyse the pros and the cons here.
hi Rodrigo, i have eriksen and arnautovic ad LM but the second one is bad.who can i buy?maybe schurlle(i usually cross a lot)? i tried David silva but i don’t like him,he’s too slow.
Assuming that you don’t have enough coins for Hazard, buy Schurlle
Cumprimentos
Hey Rodrigo, what informs/special card i should buy ? BPL players only . you can list out many players as you like 🙂
You shouldn’t buy IF cards. They are too expensive for the small benefit you take from them.
The exception are players that change their position, like Ronaldo ST in BBVA or David Silva CAM in BPL.
hi i play 3-4-1-2
ST – Falcao/RVP
CAM-Di MARIA
LM- Hazard
CM-Juan Mata/ Fabrigas
RM – Jesus Navas
CB- Kompany, Cahill and Terry
GK- Courtois

Res:Lukaku,Matic,Gerrad, Ramires, Schurrle.
Can you please suggest a good formation with these abv players. I feel the formation i am playing is not good defensive wise. And suggest the next players i shud buy? Toure and Sergio is already in the list.
Hi.
if you pay attention to our formations guide, you will see that formations shouldn’t be chosen by the player you own. You should focus in your play style.
About the next buys, in our opinion you should try Koscielny or Mangala instead of Cahill. Sergio Aguero and Touré are obviously the player you need more but, until you have coins to buy them you should try Ramires and take off Fabregas from your squad.
Hi Rodrigo just a question to ask you,
Who do you think I should put up front
I can’t afford agüero because of my budget
Anyway this is my team in a 41212(2) formation
Gk lloris
Rb walker
CBs Cahill, koscielny
Lb luis
CDM ramires
Cms yaya toure, fernandinho
Cam dí maría
St is where I have my problem
I have 70k right now
If you can suggest two strikers that will be great
Hi.
I think you have better options than Cahill for CB.
For ST you may try Diego Costa and Rooney.
Rodrigo quick question I play 4 1 2 1 2 (2) which is based on cms rather than LM and RM, I did this to avoid hazard and willian. I play better through the middle and dont use pace, I prefer keeping the ball any suggestions are greatly appreciated
Gk Courtois
RB Zabaleta / Sub Rafael
CB Koscielny, Cahill / Kompany
LB Clichy / Sub Gibs
CDM Ramirez / Sub Fernando
RCM Cabella / Coutinho
LCM Paulinho / Fernandinho
CAM Rooney / Mata
STs Balotelli / Costa / Sturridge
Aguero Di Maria and Toure seem really expensive, do you suggest to start saving becouse that is what I need or are there any other changes I should do before actually going for this 3 bankdisrupting players
They should be your next buys, yes. 🙂
Thanks Rodrigo Much appreciated 2 Final questions….
1st Which one would you buy first……
2nd Ive played Courtois a number of games and I dont see a real difference with lets say Lloris / Petr Cesch…. should I sell Courtois to finance any of the above mentioned 3???
Thanks for the advice in advance
1) Touré.
2) I can guarantee that Courtois is the best one. Sometimes we have different opinions because he played worse but there are no much to compare between goalkeepers: only 6 attributes and height.
Hi Rodrigo, fantastic guide…its been of great use. I have one main query, currently playing 4-3-1-2 as love to attach through the middle and like to pass/move and this seems to be working a treat. The jury is still out for me on my best combination in midfiled and wanted your thoughts. My options are Di Maria, Toure, Mata, Fabregas, Ramires, Oscar. Majority of the time I am playing di maria (cam) with toure, ramires and mata as CMs. Would love ot hear your thoughts even if you recommend different personnel.
Thanks
Hi.
In my opinion, you are playing with the best players you can: Di Maria as CAM, Touré as CMC and Ramires/Mata as CMR and CML.

Hi, i play with your Unlimited Budget, but with Ramires in the CDM. My Problen is, that Aguero is not getting any chance.I´m not really good, play League 4. What should i prefer, short passing? Are there any Setting i must change? My Attackers don´t want the Ball and the Midfielder don´t have Room to pass. Sorry for my English, I´m from Germany
Hi.
You probaby will need to try another formation. Take a look here.
Hi Rodrigo, fantastic website – many thanks.
These guides are outstanding and must take huge amounts of work.
Just a suggestion – I’ve noticed that often the values you attribute to players are out of date and therefore inaccurate (which is perfectly understandable) – what would help is if for each of your teams first squads (Unlimited Budget, 50K, 10K) you could build them on FUThead and provide the squad link in your info, so we could click the link for accurate prices.
Thanks again
KP
Hi.
Thank you very much for your words.
You are absolutely right about your suggestion. I usually update the article with the new prices but it would be much better doing as you suggested. I will try to update this one or, at least, follow your advice for future guides.
Thanks and best of luck with the continued success of your site
Thank you
Do you prefer Rooney or Balotelli? Rooney is not fast, but Balotelli low/low work rate doesn’t look good…
Rooney.
Thanks for the advice Rodrigo. I think Walcott is a great RM and at the moment, he suits my playing styles but I see what you mean by getting Sanchez or Willian. The main reason I have Walcott is so he can run down the wing and either cross or cut inside and score. I don’t know whether Willian or Sanchez will feel as fast as he does but Sanchez and Willian don’t cost to much so I could try them out anyway. Also kosienly isn’t a big buy either so that isn’t a big issue.
I don’t know whether to move Di Maria to CAM and leave Rooney out and get someone like Fabregas or Ramires. Or I use mata/Ozil at CAM and continue with Di Maria at CM.
Thanks for the extremely helpful advice and guide so far.
Also, do you think my formation suits my players? If I need a 4—– formation, who should I get at Left and Right Back. I think it is alright as it is though.
Hi again.
Walcott is extremely fast but he is not a good crosser. I prefer Di Maria as CAM.
Hello,
Thank you for this article. I’m now in Div 3 and I think what should I do for climbing up. I play 4-3-3(2) formation with following players
Howard
Walker-Mangala-Vertonghen-Gibbs
Matić
Coutinho-Gerrard
Alexis-Sturridge-Schurrle
I’ve got 25k and I don’t know who would be best purchase. Oscar instead of Coutinho? Fabregas for Gerrard? Koscielny for one of my cb’s?
Fabregas instead of Gerrard seems a nice move.
Hi,
I commented on this website a few weeks ago with my a team I could make with 1.5 Million Coins.
Since then I have made a few changes to this side.
Formation: 3412
GK: Courtois
CB: Cahill, Kompany and Terry/Mertesacker
CM: Y.Toure, Di Maria/Fabregas/Ramires
LM: Hazard
RM: Walcott
CAM: Rooney/Mata/Ozil/Di Maria
ST: RVPersie, Aguero
For the last few weeks I have been thinking about my Central Midfield. I think my defence is solid and my strikers and wingers are great but I don’t know who to put in the CM and the CAM positions.
Thanks for Reading, I hope you can tell me the best upgrades I could make on this team with a 1.5mil budget!
To play in a 4-3-1-2 formation, you have Toure Yaya, Ramsey, Cesc, Gerrard, Ramires, Wilshere and Matic. Which three would you choose in the starting 11?
Yaya, Ramires and Fabregas

Rooney/Other.
Aguero. RVP
Oh that didn’t work…
Hi.
I still think you could have faster CBs, like Koscielny or Mangala, and a better RM, like William or Sanchez. In fact, you already have the best CM/CAM players. If you want to upgrade it, you will need to transform your team into a hybrid squad.
Hi I was just wondering if you could have a look at my team, I play 4-1-2-1-2
Gk: courtois sub: mignolet
Lb: luis sub: baines
Cb: vertongen and kompany. Subs:koschienly and terry
Rb: walker. Sub: zabaleta

I’m looking to bring in one more world class player, was thinking about using robben as a sub? I have heard that chemistry will be locked when the match starts so I could bring him on without causing any issues? If not, I could buy messi for st and replace van persie. Then bring on lamela in rm? That way all his links are ARG to ARG? Which option would be best? Robben or messi? Also would neuer work in gk? My team chem stays at 100 but his chem is only 3, would this effect his performance?
Thanks
Hi.
We don’t have sure if the chemistry of the substitutes works in that way in FIFA 15. If yes, Robben should be OK.
Otherwise, Messi should be perfect.
About Neuer, his performance will be affected but he will not affect the performance of other players since the squad’s chemistry is still 100.
i have also made a bpl team and it is way better then yours,
i can easily score on division 1 + on online division its quite easy to win with that team altought it requires like 350k cash to make but its the best bpl team
What is it?
Currently using 451 –
Lloris
Walker, Mangala, Koscielny, Luis
Willian, Ramires (CDM) Toure, Fabreagas, Schurrle
Costa
Have around 60k to spend? Think fabregas is maybe the weakest link…any suggestions?
I agree with you. Di Maria would be perfect but you can also try Mata.
Hi rodrigo,
I right now got 100k,
What league do you suggest?
And the league that you choose, what would be the best possible team for that league?
Also I wanted to say that teams that were 100k a month ago are now 50-60k. how much ks will it drop more?
A lot of questions I know haha.
Thanks in advance! 😀
Hi.
With 100k the best value is Serie A. We can not suggest you a team because we are still testing these players but with that budget you can build a top squad without IF cards.
The prices will be lower during TOTY.
Regards
And when will the serie a guide be released? After toty? Thanks for answering all my questions!
No.
It is almost ready. It will be published at December 14.
4-5-1
Starting Line-up: Subs:
GK: Courtois GK: Lloris
LB: Filipe Luis LB: Clichy
LCB: Kompany CB: Vertonghen
RCB: Koscielny ST: Sturridge
RB: Kyle Walker RM: Rotates between Willian and Sanchez
LM: Andre Schurrle
LCAM: Juan Mata
CM: Ramires (though playing out of position from CDM to CM)
RCAM: Di Maria
RM: Rotates between Willian and Sanchez
ST: Diego Costa
You already have a top squad. You are only missing the more expensive ones like Hazard, Aguero and Touré. With your budget it is impossible to build a better BPL team.
If Ramires has individual chemistry 10, then it is a waste to apply him a CDM-CM card.
Congratulations.

With more coins you can build a better team. With those coins you alreay have a good one.
Hi Rodrigo,
nice advice you have here..
would you advice for my team as well?
im using 4-5-1 (2)
hart
coleman koscienly smalling moreno
mirallas ramiers sandro fer silva
lukaku
my style would be to pass and use pace and pass the ball to the striker to finish..
occasionally crossing to target man as well..
any suggestions for player improvements? TIA
Hi.
Your play style is everything together: passing, long pass, target man, crossing… 🙂
In my opinion, your weakest players are Smalling and probably Fer (if you have more coins lefting). there are good alternatives to them.
i have around 30K coins.. on ps4..
any suggestions to improve my team? thanks!!
Mangala and Matic, for example.
Thanks for the advice.. after much manovering aka trading..
finally changed my 11..

as much as silva is very good. him on the LM just dint make much sense to my playstyle..
enjoyed your guide.. thanks a million!
Thank you too.
We agree with you about David Silva. It is a waste to have him as a winger.
Hi,
I’m using a 5212 and really enjoying it.

Cbs- Mangala, Koscielny, Onouha
Lwb – clichy
rwb- walker

Any thoughts? I know Zarate may seem a weak link but he is scoring for me at an amazing rate using this system.
Hi. If you are happy and winning, it’s because you don’t need advices.
I prefer Mangala instead of Nedum Onuoha but it’s up to you.
Hi,
Will you guys make a guide on Liga Bancomer MX players and Mexican national team players? And your guides that you guys wrote are great.
It is not in our plans…
Have fun!
Hey! I use 4-3-3(4) formation, my current squad is :
GK : Courtois
CB : Koscielny, Kompany
LB : Filipe Luis
RB : Kyle Walker
CM : Yaya Toure and x
LW : Hazard
RW : Sanchez
CAM : Angel Di Maria
ST : Sergio Aguero
For second CM who I should use Rooney , Ramires or someone else ?
Ramires!
You have probably the best team possible.
Dear Rodrigo ,
My Squad at the moment :
Gk : de Gea
Lb : Philippe luis cb : rojo and cahill Rb: Walker
Cdm : ramires Lm : Silva Cam : mata Rm : walcott/jesus navas
2 strikers : diego Costa and Sánchez ….
Do you have any tips for me or better players in the positions ?
Thank you,
Nick
Hi.
Nice team. The only way to improve it is with a larger budget.
Regards
Hi, I often use a 4-3-1-2 formation, my current squad is:
GK: Lloris
RB: Zabaleta
CB: Vertonghen and Kompany
LB: Filipe Luis
MC: Gerrard, Ramsey and Fabregas
MCO: Özil
FW: Sturridge and Diego Costa
Any recommendations? I had Walker, he was very fast but I bought Zabaleta because he is just much better defending and stronger, you would still insist in Walker or I keep Zabaleta? Sorry for my english…
Hi. Zabaleta is fine. It depends of our needs. You you want someone to defend, Zabaleta is the right choice.
Gerrard should play in the centre because he is slower than the other players of your team.
Regards
Sold matic.. Gerrard works better for me and sold mata… Oscar is amazing at cam… Sold sturridge and bough persie and i think persie affects all the team in positive manner.. Without him like team cant breath now
Rodrigo, after the last update the review/guide will have to be revised?
The game is slower now, the rush was much reduced.
I don’t think there is a such bigger difference. They may be slower but just a bit.
Hi Rodrigo,
Amazing guide to BPL team building. I just came across your site and found out that I pretty much have the same squad that you have suggested. Please suggest any changes I need to make after looking at my squad. TIA.
GK : Neuer
CB : Koscielny, Kompany
LB : Rodriguez
RB : Kyle Walker
CDM : Yaya Toure
LM : Santi Cazorla
RM : Willian
CAM : Angel Di Maria
ST : Diego Costa
ST : Sergio Aguero
I tried Courtois but he conceded many goals so I went with Neuer because he let me retain 100% Chem. I play 4-1-2-1-2.
Thanks.
Hi.
Your team is great. However, I think you have better alternatives than Cazorla. Schurlle for example.
Thanks and a correction I play with Jose Enrique at LB and I’m thinking of replacing him with Filipe Luis. I’ll also try Schurrle.
That’s a good move.
Hi Rodrigo,
I’m trying to build a hybrid squad, I’m changing the formation to 3-4-1-2. My squad would be :
GK : Neuer
CB : Kompany, Mertesacker, Boateng/Thiago
LM : Eden Hazard
CM : Yaya Toure, Fernandinho
RM : Willian
ST : Aguero, Costa
I’m left with 2 options either use Thiago Silva with Mertesacker and Kompany, this will give me strong defensive line but at the loss of individual chem of Neuer, Mert and Silva or 2nd option to use Boateng with Mert and Kompany which will give me full individual chem but not strong enough defensive line as with Thiago Silva. Which of the option would u suggest, full individual chem or strong defensive line. TIA.
I recommend full individual chemistry if it affects more than one player, which is the case.
Thanks
Hi, I am getting 1.5 million coins soon and I was wonder whether this is a good team:
Formation: 3,4,1,2
GK:Courtois
CB:Mertesacker, Kompany, Terry
CM: Di Maria, Y.Toure
LM: Hazard
RM: Sanchez
CAM: Aguero
ST: Van Persie and Rooney or Falcao?
If you think this is a good team, tell me but if you can think of any replacements I can make, tell me aswell! Also, I put Aguero at CAM so he could combine with Yaya Toure and Angel Di Maria and have a Man.UTD Strike force. Thanks.
Hi.
Nice team but here are my considerations:
– In a 3xx formation, you can only have one slow centre back: Terry or Mertesacker. And that one should play in the middle. You can try Koscielny for example.
– You don’t need to have Aguero as a CAM because you already have individual chemistry 10 for all. I suggest to us Rooney as CAM and Aguero as ST. If you prefer other striker, you can also try Diego Costa.
Regards
How is gerrard at cdm… I am using him and like him more then ramires
It is not his best position but he can be used there.
What position ge best fits in? He is got good defence, can shoot from distance, can pass and create chances, he is a completely best set piece taker in all aspects… 6 out of 10 times i score from free kicks using him..
Btw thnx for quick reply.. It was my first question… I read almost all ur articles and like this website very much… Thnx in advance for this time too..
Not kidding.. But u r better then ea customer support.. They should offer yoy salary for ur work…
Thank you.
In my opinion he plays better as CM. His defensive stats are decent, not good. As CDM he is too far to the goal to use his long shot. Besides that, his stamina is not great, which is important to someone playing as CDM.
Regards
De gea
Walker
Cahill, koscieliny
Clichy
Gerrard
Willian
Schurrle
Juan mata (earler loic remy at this position by applying cam position, was very good and scored many goal leaving behind strikers)
Balotelli, sturridge
4-1-2-1-2
Any more suggestions? I dont have much coins may be 20k i hav
Gerrard as CDM is the only player that I not agree 100%. Matic is a cheap option too.
Hello rodriguez,
I wanna ask you a question please :
Yesterday i got neymar in a free pack and I can sell it , I have a bbva team including : David villa , Soldado , Isco , Hernandez , Callejon , Jese rodriguez , Fabio concentrao , Beto and of course some other gold defense players
I am confused because my friends told me that i could sell neymar (for around 350k) and my team to buy a new bundesligua team because it’s cheaper than bbva and contains lot of good players , so my question is : what do you think should I do ? Could you please help me choosing wish league I should adopt ? And please could you give me a basic squad of that league for a budget of 350-400k ?
Thank you very much 🙂
If your budget is 400k, go for Serie A. It has the best value for money.
I can’t help you with a squad because we are still testing it.
Hi Rodrigo.I have 930k.What is the beat hybrid for that money.I use 4-3-3(4).Many thanks
Hi.
To build a hyybrid take a look here.
Right now we are finnishing many articles and don’t have 15 minutes to build that for you. Use our BBVA and BPL guides to do it yourself.
hi rodrigo iv got your unlimited budget bpl squad but i dont really like the formation could you tell me a good team for the 4-3-3 attack formation i have around 2million coins
Hi. One important note: when we create an unlimited budget squad, the formation we use is not the one we think it is the best for that league and for those players. We use it because it is popular.
You may try: Courtois, Walker, Koscielny, Kompany, Luiz, Touré, Di MAria, Ramires, Willian, Hazard and Aguero
Hey there Rodrigo. I need your help, do take a look at my team.
4-3-2-1
De Gea
Walker Cahill Koscielny Moreno
Matic Fabregas Fernandinho
Schurrle Sturridge Sanchez
Bench:
Ozil
Benteke
Mangala
Rooney
Remy
Fellaini
Walcott
My team has been very prone to counter attacks. Usually opponents can easily pass my defense with simple one two touches or just shake my defense off easily with strikers like Lukaku charging forward. How should I improve my team?
Please take a look at my sub bench too, and could you suggest me a formation to use so that I can get the best out of my team?
Thank you.
Hi. You are already using a good formation to your team. However, keeping Rooney in the bench it is a huge waste. 4411 could be an option.
Thanks for the advice. A few questions though.
Who should I put as CM so as to improve my defense? Would Matic-Fernandinho pairing be good?
Would Sanchez be effective at RM? Or should I replace him with Walcott, Sterling or Willian?
Is it wise to replace Schurrle with Silva?
Matic plays better as CDM.
Sanchez will be great as RM. Willian too.
Silva is a great player but his stats are better to play as CAM or CM. Schurrle is much fastar and that is something important in FUT 15.
Hi,
I have Mata as cam in a 4-1-2-1-2 firmation with costa and remy in the front and schurle and wilian on the wings. I heard ozil is good but is it worth the coin to replace mata in my team?
Thanks
In our opinion, you should keep with Mata.
Hi Rodrigo,
Fantastic guide as usual. Had a query for you, due to pack luck I am really lucky & coins isn’t a great issue. I’m unsure whether to go for Silva IF for the CAM position as a backup to Di Maria. Do you think this is a good idea or a waste and I should just go for Mata or even Rooney in that position. With not using Silva on the LM feel waste not having him in team. I like having a good full 22 players to rotate match about to avoid fitness cards.
Regards
Thank you very much.
If you have coins to buy him, I think you should do it. As a LM he is not a great player, but as CAM he plays a lot. I love the way how the ball is always close to his feet.
Regards
Hi. I have a small question.
I am using Ozil as a CAM in a 4231-2 formation. I now have enough coins to buy Di Maria. But is he a good choice worth his money? I do not want to risk my money by buying him. I feel that even if i buy him and if he does not play very good i will get a loss as prices are coming down very fast. In ios, in the last month, his price has gone down from 75-80k to just 65k now and i feel it will redice fast. Should i buy him? Hw good is his passing and dribbling? Will he play as a second striker or as a playmaker?
Hi. He is a good investment. For most of the gamers, he is much better than Ozil. His dribbling and passing are really great. He will play as a playmaker but also as a second striker.
What do you think what is better:BPL as one aquad and Bundesliga as second squad or just one of these two with subs?
If coins isn’t a problem, just BPL.
Kolarov is not Russian he is Serbian
Sorry. My mistake. It is OK now.
Thank you!
Hi Rodrigo,
1st of all thanks for your guide and tips….
Any comments for my squad using 433(4) formation:
Begovic
Baines,Koscielny,ventoghen,rafael
ozil,fabregas,mata(cam)
eriksen,lukaku,willian
subs:- mirallas,nasri,terry,mangala,wilshere,matic,bony
i think my team lack of somthing but not sure what is it.
Hi!
Only you may know what is missing. However, we suggest you to try Séamus Coleman and Ramires. Your CM’s are too attacking. You need someone like Ramires to help the back four. If you don’t have coins to him, try Matic, for example.
Mata.
I got mcgeady in rm and cabella in cam i can buy either mata or sterling, recomendations?? Thank you, great post
Mata.
Hi rodrigo,
When is the time to sell our teams and make a cheap team because of the hugely decreasing prices? Mainly because of the release of the toty. Could you give me a date or month when the prices are gonna drop drastically?
The prices are dropping since mid October. Now they are even lower cause of all these Happy Hours. Probably they will be higher in the following days and then they will dropping again.
EA will release the FUT Xmas in the third week of December but the prices will be extremely low during the TOTY in January.
So what will be the best time to sell my team? and wait for after the release of the toty?
As soon as possible. In January prices will be much lower (except for most expensive players)
So like right now would be a good time? I got Gta 5 so that will keep me busy till January! 😀 I also got destiny and haven’t played it alot yet 😛
See you in January
Ohhh Okay I didnt see you reply. Sorry for asking again. Should I get Willian or Oscar? I will also get Luis.
Willian.
I have 50k but I do not know what to do with it. This is my team. Forwards: Eto, Dzeko, Vargas, and Bony. Midfield: Coutinho, Fernandinho, Eriksen, Wilshere, Valencia, Young. Defenders: Kolorav, Shaw, Terry, Skrtel, Miranda, David Luiz, Dante, Sagna, Debuchy. GK: Tim Howard, Diego Alves. Who should I buy?
Sell them all and buy our 50k suggested team with Koscielny instead of Rojo, Filipe Luis instead of Moreno and Willian.
I have 50 k but I do not know what to do with it. My team is Forwards Eto, Dzeko(Vargas). Midfields: Erikson, coutinho (wilshere), fernandinho, Valencia. Defence Kolarov, Skrtel(Miranda), Terry(Godin), Sagna(Debuchy). GK Tim Howard(Diego Alves). Who should I buy?
Do you want a good suggestion ? Build our 50k coins squad!
Finally finished my BPL Squad!

Hazard – Di Maria – Willian
Aguero – Falcao
Subs: De Gea – Mangala – Mata – Navas – Ramires – Rooney – Diego Costa
Manager: Louis van Gaal
Thanks for the trading tips Rodrigo… because of that I was able to get enough coins to build this team!!!
Great squad!
Which trading tips you used, my friend ?
Look good at the market, buy a lot and sell fast with low profit. Earning coins is not in playing many games but trading is the answer. Earned around 800.000 in 2 months. Never bought coins or points and don’t buy packs.
Thank you. You are good.
By the way, many traders focus on gold cards. There are a lot of silver cards for a good price which can be sold for double or triple the bought value. Especially in BPL and BBVA.
Hey Rodrigo!
Have you some suggestions to improve my team?
My current squad: 4-1-2-1-2
GK: Cech
RB: Walker
CB: Mangala, Verthongen
LB: Filipe Luis
CDM: Fernandiho
LM: Schurrle
RM: Willian
CAM: Ozil
ST: Sturridge
ST: Remy
In my opinion there are better CDM’s than Fernandinho. Matic for example. That’s the only thing I have to say about your team.
Hi my Current squad have:
Lloris – Begovic
Koshelny – Mangala – Rojo – Vertongen
Filipe Luis – Clichy
Walker – Coleman
Ramires – Matic – Tiote
Schurrle – Erickssen
Willian – Sanchez
Mata – Oscar – Coutinho
Rooney – Sturridge – Lukaku – Remy.
Next target, Diego Costa?
Yes! Great team. Diego Costa should be the next one.
I use Rooney and Sturridge. With Diego Costa the front line should be DG and Rooney or DG and Sturridge?
My 11 are: (4-4-2) Lloris; Filipe, Mangala, Koshelny and Walker; Ramires, Schurrle, Willian and Mata, Rooney and Sturridge.
For me and and for most of the community, it should be Rooney. But it depends of your play style.
Yes! I buy DG, and work great with Rooney.
Now, the impossible cards: Aguero, Touré, Kompany, Hazard, Courtois, let me play, play, and play. xD
Ty u so much!
Good to know.
Good games for you.
formation:4-3-2-1
GK: Loris

Hi.
First time you comment you have to wait for a prior approval.
In my opinion Koscielny is much better than Cahill and that’s my only suggestion. How to improve it ? Save for Aguero.
Hi Rodrigo,
Please check my Lineup: Formation 4-1-2-1-2
here are my BPL players:
GK: De Gea
CB: Mangala and Koscielny
LB: Luis
RB: Ivanovic
CDM: Matic
LM: Silva
RM: Willian
CAM: Mata
ST: Costa, Alexis
Reserves and Subs:
Hart, Terry, Sagna, Gibbs, Debuchy, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cesc, Ozil, Nasri, Walcott, Lukaku, Remy
WHo is the best partner in front for Costa?
and who should I buy to improve my team?
and what is the best 11 for my team? Please advise
The best 11 is that one you already have.
The best partner for Costa ? Probably Aguero.
You have the best players for your budget, so you are going well.
Next buy ? Willian as RM !
Thanks !!
I have added as well Matic and Coutinho.
Do you think its better baines or felipe luis?
Felipe Luis.
Sorry, i dont know why when I post a comment it does not appear ?
Hi rodrigo,
First of all, great guide, it is very helpful. I built half of my squad following the guide.
Secondly,
I wanted some feedback and advice on my team if it is possible
gk Heart
RB Walker
CB Kompany
CB Koscielny – Kaboul
LB Baines – shaw
CDM – Tiote
CDM – Ramires
CAM – Cabella – Sessengon ( planning on changing these)
LW – Schurle
RW – Remy – Mc geady – lennon
ST – Sturidge – Lukaku – Remy (Lukaku is fantastic)
Hi, Rodrigo.
May you check my team?
My lineup: 4,1,2,1,2
Gk.De Gea
Cb: Koscielny and Mangala
Rb: Coleman
Lb: Shaw
Cdm: Ramires
Lm: Routledge
Cam: Di Maria
Rm: Campbell
St: Sturridge and Balotelli
I am going to change Routledge to Shurlle and Campbell to Sanchez.
Do I need to change anything else?
Play with whatever suits you, Schürrle and Sanchez are both very OP, did you try out Lukaku or Falcao as strikers both very OP too
Remy or Benteke for subs since I have Costa and RVP for first 11 and Jovetic already on subs list
Remy
Hi Rodrigo, nice guide as always. But we are missing the Serie A guide. Please publish that as well.
One small question here how can I adjust Ballotelli in a 5-3-2 Serie A squad? Regards
Serie A should be published in December.
What do you mean by ‘adjust’ ?
Thanks. I meant that I play Tevez and Higuain as strikers in Serie A. I can’t find a suitable third striker for rotation. How can I put Balo in a serie A hybrid. Since there are ample Italian midfielders.
Secondly I put 2 brown links and one red link with Balo and chemistry stays 7. Both brown links are his Italian teammates. How to improve this.
Last and thid one 🙂 pirlo and totti has every excellent trait for a CM and good work rates but lack a little in PHY and suck in pace. Is it advisable to use them as CM in 5-3-2. Other options maybr Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio.
Yhank you
Hi.
1) and 2) check our chemistry guide, please.
3) Pogba and Vidal are much better in our opinion. Physical is extremely important in FIFA 15.
Thank you.
i cant find my comment i wanted to see if rodrigo told me any suggestion for team]
Yes, I did.
Just go up 10 or 15 comments please.
Suggestions are accepted to improve my team. Thanks Guys
Kyle Walker and Mata
Hi Rodrigo,
Please check my Lineup: Formation 4-1-2-1-2
here are my BPL players:
GK: Hart/Sczesny
CB: Mangala and Koscielny/Terry/Mertesacker/Sakho
LB: Luis or Gibbs / Kolarov
RB: Ivanovic/Sagna or Debuchy
CDM: Matic or Ramsey or Arteta / Schnederlin
LM: Nasri/Cazorla/Eriksen
RM: Alexis/Theo/Willian/Oxlade
CAM: Fabregas/Ozil/Wilshere
ST: Falcao/Remy/Lukaku/Eto’o
My question is can you help me for my first 11?
and also for the striker is Falcao better than Rooney? or should I sell Falcao for Rooney or RVP is much better?
Thank You So much
Hart, Mangala, Koscielny, Luis, Ivanovic, Matic, Eriksen, Willian, Fabregas, Rooney
Rooney is better than Falcão.
Hey! Need some suggestions. Currently using 4-1-2-1-2
GK Hart
CB Rojo, Chiriches
LB Jose Enrique
RB Glen Johnson
CDM Tiote
RM Willian or Oxlade Chamberlain
LM Erikssen or Young
CAM Mata or Lallana
ST Benteke, Lukaku, Soldado
Can you suggenst any improvments within 20k price range? Also, which 2 ST to use as main pair? And what LM RM?
You could use Sandro or Fernando as CDMs as they have the hightest interception rate in the BPL and Medium/High workrates. I would try Jovetic as CDM, buy him als CF or convert him. Mata is good but is left footed and has no strong weak foot. I have tried Lukaku myself, he is very good. Benteke always seem to score against me.
i want to buy a RM of at least 83 overall from any league in the budget of 15,000 coins can you suggest me some great RM of any league
McGeady, Hulk, Candreva
Willian
I’m using 4-5-1 tactic. CAM, CM,GK and LM already completed. Only def side and RM and ST still cannot make decisions to use a player. Need suggestion as list given below
GK: De Gea
LB: Kolarov
CB: Terry & Koscienly
RB: Zabaleta or Sana
LM: Cazorla or Nasri
CM: Fabregas
RM:Navas or William
CAM: Mata and Oscar
ST: Dzeko or Remy or Benteke
CB Terry is too slow, I’d go with Koscielny and Cahill or Sakho or Kaboul. RB Zabaleta or Coleman are good. ST try out Lukaku and Jovetic, both cheap and very good
So I have van persie and falcao as striker and mata as CAM
im using the formation 4312 and well im looking for 3 good CMs I cant buy yaya so thats out of the picture. Buy any other player is fine. Except di maria too. And I was wondering what CAMs preform well as CMs
and keep up the good job!!
It depends if you want to attack or defend. I would choose Sandro, Fernando or Matic in the central CM spot that works like a CDM, due to their high interception rations. For the left and right CM spot you could use fast attacking CMs. I have good experiences with Cabella or Taarabt. A good idea would be too to use Mata as one of the two outside CM and buy Jovetic as a CF and let him play in the ZOM spot – he is a beast for me.
Yeah I seen people use jovetic and hes a beast. Will oscar preform well as a Cm?
I have Fernando in the Central Cm position
I currently have Koscielny and Rojo us cbs’s is mangla or Jan Vertonghen could be a better replacment for rojo?
You can check on different websites for their workrates, I advise using Low/High or Medium/High CBs, look for a higher defending attribute and pace. Your CBs are actually great, I don’t see sense in replacing Rojo with Vertonghen or Managala. I would stick with Koscielny and add Cahill or Kompany if you have the coins.
Team looks nice. I am currently in div4, struggling a bit to get promoted this year. Any suggestions on my team? Playing 4-2-3-1, with very heavy focus on possession and waiting for space to open up.
GK: IF De Gea
LB: Filipe Luis
CB: IF Reid (I like CBs with those workrates, and he seemed to be the best choice)
CB: Koscielny
RB: IF Ivanovic
CDM L: Ramires
CDM R: Yaya Toure
CAM R: Ozil
CAM Middle: IF David Silva
CAM L: Di Maria
ST: Van Persie
You have a nice team. However, I think you have too much IF’s. I understand why you pick David Silva but I don’t personally agree with your other two choices.
I see. Only reason I have Reid is because of he’s workrates. Ivanovic because I use instruction for fullbacks to stay back while attacking, and he got some pretty amazing defending stats. But, why not De Gea? He have amazing diving and reflexes? (Keep in mind that I do have a lot of coins after packing IF Neymar the first day of his TOTW, and thats where the coins to build this team comes from, so I have a few coins left after building this team and doing investments).
I still think that NIF Courtois is better than him.
Ok.Which players should I buy in first or second squad
You already have good players
I need goalkeeper for my BPL squad. Who will be better? De Gea or Szczesny IF?
De Gea
Wright now I am playing your formation 4-1-2-1-2.First squad:IF De Gea
Kompany,Koscielny,Walker,Filipe Luis
Ramires,Alexis,Rooney,Willian,
Costa,Sturridge.
Second squad-same formation
Hart
Mangala,Cahill,Sagna,Moreno
Matic,Sterling,Walcott,Oscar,Lukaku,Ahuero.What do you think
Matic,Sterlimg,Walcott,Oscar
Lukaku,Aguero.
Looks really great.
Rodrigo I have 110k.Should I buy RVP or Falcao or cm in my second squad? You know my team so which cm or which strikers
If you have enoug coins, try Ramires.
Hi Rodrigo.I am playing 5-2-1-2.My second squad:Hart,Rojo,Mangala,IF Reid,Sagna,Moreno,Paulinho,Ramsey,Oscar,Vargas and Sturridge.Who should I buy.In first squad I have very good bpl plaers like Aguero,Costa…My second squad is awful.Pls help
When you play with your first squad, do you use the same formation ?
Hi Rodrigo, what do think who are the best bpl cm.P.s. I haven’t got money for Yaya and Ramires.Don’t forget if cards 😀 .Thanks 🙂
Forget IF cards. It is a waste of coins.
If you don’t have coins for Ramires that’s because you have a very limited budget. In this case, maybe Coutinho…
Hi Rodrigo it’s me again.Sorry why I am asking you something all the time :D.I had balo and remy but somethimes balo plays well and sometimes remy. Now I have sturridge and eduardo vargas and they are quite good.Should I buy some other striker or invest in my cms and cam.Cm’s are paulinho and ramsey and cam is oscar. What do you think?.Many thanks again 😀
Invest in CMs
Hi Rodrigo,
I have a bpl team having a lot of the player from your 50K team but in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation.
I have:
Begovic
Coleman, Terry, Onuoha, Gibbs
Fernando
Eriksen, Mirallas
Coutinho
Jovetic, Lukaku
What do you suggest should be the next purchase to do ? Change my defense ?
By the way I love your suggestion of Coutinho, he is amazing for me.
Also I don’t really play online I mostly play offline.
Thank you
I would replace Terry for a speedier defender, Distin or Kaboul are good choices.
Hi. Thank you.
I should adapt our suggestions to your case. For example, playing offline is different from playing multiplayer and it may force you to choose another players.
In my opinion, even in a 41212 which is a good formation to help the back four, your weakest position are the CB’s. My suggestion is to save your coins to buy Mangala or/and Koscielny. This should be your priority.
Hi Rodrigo, love your guides. What do you think about 4-4-2 bpl team with unlim budget?
Strikers: Aguero&Costa
Wings: Hazard&Willian (Sanchez?)
Defenders: like in your 4-1-2-1-2 guide
Whatdo you think about cm? if Di Maria, if Silva, Toure, or maybe Magic&Fabregas?
Hi. Thank you.
That’s almost our suggested team. So, it is easy to say that we love your team. I prefer Willian but it’s up to you.
About CM’s NIF Di Maria and Touré are good enough and they play together. Don’t waste your coins in IF Di Maria. If you love players with good passing and ball control you can also try David Silva.
Regards
Hey,
I have a squad that uses 2 cdm
One of them is fernando. You said he is great at defense and he is. But i often se him running forward assisting my attackers. As the other cdm should i buy matic or ramires. I want a defensively solid team with good attack also. I can afford both of them. No problem of money
I also want a cam. I play a short pass style game but sometimes use pace, especially as now i use coutinho but even if i find a gap with him he cannot outpace the defenders like my striker remy.
My cam needs good passing and pace. Whom do you suggest?
Hi Rodrigo.I forgot to ask you which strikers should I buy in second squad(I have 55k).Many thanks again
Maybe Balo and Remy.
Hi,Rodrigo.I’m playing 4-3-3(4).My defense and midfield are good.I have aguero as striker and walcott and sterling as wingers. In my second squad i have diego costa as striker and I am playing same formation.Second squad is very bad.Do you think that I need to put costa in first squad and play with 2 strikers(aguero and costa) or something other. Thanks
Sure! You should do it.
Hi Rodrigo, i love your guides, can you tell me when are you going to release the serie A guide?
Later in the year. We don’t have a date yet.
Regards
Hello I would like to know if balotelli is a good striker for Bpl team? Im a player who can’t afford players like RVP or Rooney yet. Thanks for ur opinion.
Hello I would like to ask if balotelli is a good striker for players who can’t afford 70k for RVP or Rooney or Agustin? I have him on my team and don’t know if I should keep him? I need ur opinion! Thanks
If you can not afford the top players, Balotelli is a decent choice. The only player with that range of prices is Remy, and for us Balo is slightly better.
hi rodrigo. waiting for your laliga squad guide. i hve lost some coins. i just made my team with 79 overall. they all have good attributes. but for some time i left playing it. and now when i came back .the prices of my players have dropped by half.
Yes, prices are already dropping.
I love your guides…i can’t wait for your serie A and liga bbva guide! any idea when are they coming??
BBVA will be published during November, before the Serie A guide.
Hi Rodrigo, what would you say about my current team? Do you have any suggestions to improve it?
GK: Begovic
CB: Kaboul, Onouha
LB/RB: Moreno, Raffael
CDM, CAM: Dembele, Welbeck
LM/RM: Young, Walcott
ST: Benteke, Diouf
Hi.
It depends of your play style, preferences and budget. You have a decent cheap team. It can be improved with a bigger budget.
Hi Rodrigo, I really want to have Alexis on my team, but it’s hard for me to save 65k to buy him… any tips so that I can get him easily?
You will have to save. Don’t waste your coins in packs.
Hi rodrigo, I would like to share my experience with a number of bundesliga players, even though the guide is going to take a while, I hope that’s okay? And how do i do that?
Hi.
Do you want to make a Bundesliga guide ? Is that what you are asking ?
Yes please make a bundesliga guide!!!
Check it here.
Thanks so much Rodrigo! I was just building my BPL team!
I do have a small comment though about the “cheapest choice” striker. I’m playing for some time with Loic Remy as second striker next to Diego Costa and and in 59 games he scored 97 times. He has almost the same stats as Benteke, but is a lot faster. He just outruns every other defender and scores pretty easy. To me he is what Eto’o was in Fifa 14.
I agree with you about Remy being a great player. However he can not be the cheapest choice if his price is three to four times higher than the Benteke price. Beside that, pace is not the only difference. Benteke is much stronger and that is something really important too. Anyway, 97 goals is something amazing!
OK, good. Point about the price.
Just one striker question though. I just bought Agüero and tried him with Di Maria as a ST instead of CAM. As a CAM I use Oscar or Mata. What do you think about that.?
Di Maria can be use as a ST, yes. If you don’t need him to the midfield, go ahead.
If im losing or drawing I replace one of my striker with Lukaku and put him on ST position. He is fresh and opponent defender are tired and he got good chances to score. Joker is that I have hope on him and he is good for bench hahah.
Begovic hmm I didn’t count him cuz I won to good games again him and Im a bit scared of Bego. But in skills he look good one
Thank you for clearing my doubt about the joker. I was ignorant about it as i never sub anyone in the fear of wasting contracts.
About Begovic: It is not the keeper’s fault if u are too cool for him!
Begovic’s stats are amazing for his price and also he is, in my opinion, the best value for money. He has saved some really important goals for me. (Even though he played only 10 matches.)
You can get him for less than 3k or even 2k if u find a good bargain (like me… i got him for 1.6k using the 59th min. method)
You can see that he is better than Howard at all important stats except positioning but only by 2 points. Also he is cheaper than Howard. You should just sell Howard and get Begovic. If you aren’t impressed just auction him. Many people are waiting for Asmir Begovic.
I used De Gea for some matches but is is not much better than our 6’6 Bosnian. Also he is too expensive (13.5k > 3.4k any day!)
In my opinion Begovic is the best keeper to use for a medium budget squad and also very cheap and reliable if you have quality CBs.
Having a team with some good and normal players and I wanna share some of my stats and thoughts about some PL players. I tried alot of players but these are best fit player for my strategy 4 – 3 – 3 (3CM and LW-ST-RW)
from DIV 10 to DIV 4.:::
Here are my goal stats for players:
Player: Sturridge
Possition: LW
games: 30
Goals: 23
comment: He is running good and his a good dribbler me scored 0.75% goals per match and he is a good assist player. Facing high PHY defenders was a bit problem for me cuz he was easy to be blocked. Facing low PAC defenders he is a beats.
Player: Diego Costa
Position: ST
Games: 21
Goals: 20
He is best strikers till now comparing that I had before Falcao, Van Persie, Benteke, Lukaku, Dzeko or Crouch.
He is strong with ball and you can pass defenders like Mangala or Koscielny easy. I never scored with him against Kompany till now. (Diego Costa vs Kompany 4 matches no goals for Costa).
Player: Sanchez
Position: RW
Games: 30
Goals: 6
To me was not good player against PHY opponent, he is fast and good dribbler. Im using him for crossing and long ball/pass he is my best assist player in the team. Having a strong ST like Costa or Rooney it would be perfect pair for Sanchez. Recommended having him in your team
CM: Disappointed on Fabregas and Ozil they are not good in counter attacks and in long shots. They can be good players to assist but not like playing Walcott in CM or Silva in CM cuz Walcott/Silca they can cross good pass good they are fast and they can score. Best CM for me is Yaya Toure compare with other CM.
My best opponent player was Oscar he scored me in lots of games and he was good organiser to my opponent. I never had him on my team.
Best deffenders: Koscielny, Cahill and Mangala others Bllek…
Luis is good if your plying in wings but if you have faster wing opponent you should play Clichy
I plaid only with Ivanovic in right deff. so I’m happy with him but he is a bit slower.
I had only Tim Howard and GK he is not so good with 1vs1 but shots from distance and against crossing he is good.
I play Lukaku as a joker and he scored 0.60% goals per game.
Thank you for your comments ermal! BTW what is a joker? And why dont you buy begovic?
you r playing on ps or xbox. here is my username on ps. ermalberisha1 you can add me and we can play.
Does someone have experience and will guid us for Loic Remy?
Ola Rodrigo.
I am planning to make a 4231(2) squad. I prefer a lot of pace, especially along the wings, but i usually dont cross high and play more controlled low short passes. But i wont compain if my striker wins the crosses sometimes make. Actually i cross about 40% of the time.I already formed half of my team. It has:
GK begovic
RB walker
CB Mertesacker, koscielny.
LB Clichy
CDM fernando
LM schurrle
RM sterling
Pls suggest players for Cdm, cam and St. I have 50k
Also, what is the problem with sterling and schurrle? I feel that they wil suit my style of pace winging. Still i am ready to change them if you feel they are not upto the mark.
Hi.
You haven’t asked but I prefer Mangala than Mertesacker. I know that you have a good formation and a fast CB next to the German player, but to me he is too slow.
If you want a good defensive CDM, try Matic. Mata and Lukaku are good choices to the other two positions.
If Sterling and Schurrle suit your play style, go ahead with them!
Dear Rodrigo,
I tried with Mertesaker he is good against slow one and Falcao or Sturridge always beat him 1vs1 so its better playing Koscielny that Mert. even with Sakho my deff was better than with Metr.
@Ahil
Yep for Matic he is good but if you dont have money try Fernando (city cmd).
Thank you for you comments Rodrigo and ermal!
Money is not a problem. I have now made 70k and think that i can make atleast around 3-4k everyday, even when i am busy.
Rodrigo, thank you for your insight. I appreciate your comments about not only the positions i asked for but also the others.
About mertesacker, why is pace needed for both defenders? Isnt mertesacker’s defense 82 higher than mangala’s 79? I really dont have a problem selling mertesacker but could you tell more about why this is your choice? I am not against ur opinions. I really love them. You were indeed right about the LM position and schurrle and I feel i cannot decide anything without playing using the player now.
Can you also tell me why you prefer Mata and Lukaku over other players?
I already have a CDM fernando who is defensively great! Who do you think should be the other CDM? Should he be more attacking like Ramires or defensive again like Matic? Not like i will run forward with my CDMs usually but you never know…!
And now i realized that you were right about schurrle. He did not impress me as much as sterling especially in passing. Can you suggest any other LM who is even better and faster? I really love bursts of pace along the wings and eriksen’s 81 pace is just not fast enough.
For further guides, i have a small suggestion. Is it possible for you to make the CM and CAM positions seperate. I understand that their roles are almost the same but sometimes CMs have to get defensive and need something like a med/med workrate and attributes compared to the more attack oriented CAM. Also, this allows us to get ur opinions about both positions separately, which will really be helpful.
Best LM player for BPL on the LM position is Hazard but also Schurrle is good one? Did you try with David Silva ? he is amazing also Nasri is good passer and dribbler.
But wait maybe Rodrigo have better option
Ermal,
Hopefully Rodrigo has a better option. Cuz Hazard is friggin’ EXPENSIVE!!!!!!
Seriously, do you think i am able to make so much money in a matter of a few days?!?
It is tough. I really am amazed that i made even the 70k that i now have!
As i have mentioned, i need pace, so Silva and Nasri do not convince me.
May be i will try to use Schurrle in more matches and get adapted to him. Bcoz i only played like 5 matches. Schurrle seems like the most fitting option for me, with decent stats but economical price.
Also, i dont know which to choose, mertesacker or mangala
I consulted fut head:
https://www.futhead.com/15/players/960/per-mertesacker/compare/14-1677/
I am still confused.
Mert is better in Defending, Defeder Rating, Marking, Heading, Short Passing, Slide and standing tackle, Strength, Interception, Positioning and vision.
mangala is better in aggression, agility, balance, jumping, sprint speed, long pass, physical
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HE IS BETTER IN RODRIGO’S OPINION!!!!
Helpeth me oh experts. And shedeth light on this ign’rance of mineth
Hi.
You both almost have said all.
Lukaku is great because he’s fast (something important in FIFA 15), has good shooting and he is really strong. He is also 4 star weak foot and has perfect work rates. Obviously there are better strikers for this price I can’t find.
I recommend a slow CB is 5xx formations. In 4xx formations it is too dangerous. Try both players and you will see the difference between Mangala and Mertesacker.
It’s up to you but usually in formations with two CDM’s, I like to play with a more offensive CDM. However, Ramires may be too expensive to you right now.
About your suggestion, I appreciate it but the I can not extend the guide even more. I did it for CDM last year but I can not do it again because many people quit reading when they see a long post. If you have more suggestions, feel free to share with us.
Regards
Ola,
I am confused between ozil, mata and oscar for cam. I am using lukaku and remy for st in 41212 but i am going to play only lukaku as i am going to change to 4231-2. I feel i need good pace and shooting and passing.
Mata is our choice.
Well done again Rodrigo. I went into this expecting to have differing opinions but I think we are on the same wavelength; I couldn’t fault any of your choices. Clearly you have an understanding that face card stats do not fully show how good a player is, and this knowledge is important when picking the best from many good options (e.g Aguero is not the highest rated but is the best in game). However, I have found that many BPL teams I face are easy to defeat, often containing players not mentioned in this guide. Do you or anyone else reading this feel as though the BPL is weaker this year compared to previous FIFA’s? Certainly most keepers are quite poor, bar De Gea and Courtois. Also, it is extremely expensive compared to other leagues. However, top article Rodrigo 🙂
Thank you very much my friend.
I think BPL is stronger in a few positions and weaker in another ones. But yes: it is extremely expensive compared to other leagues.
PS – you are invited to join us to write player reviews if you want. You have our email.
Cheers
Ola Rodrigo!
Do we also get to send u player reviews?
Depends of your skills. 🙂
If you are interested, please send us an email and we can discuss it.
Regards
Thanks for the reply, my exams are over soon but I will email you my status in a month.
leroy fer is a beast at cdm besides yaya i think hes the best one and hes not expensive. Great guide though I was interested to see the gk part I have begovic now and am not sure who to buy next.
Thank you.
It depends of you team.
Thank you for the guide.. I need help in choosing the ST.. I am playing with 4-3-3 formation, and I have Hazard and Mirallas as wings so I need a good ST in passing specially through triangle.. I had Sturridge put he really was very bad in passing so I sold him and I was thinking of getting Falcao but you said he is not that well.. So, any suggestions for the ST?
I have around 70K
Thanks in advance..
Hi.
The best way to know if a player is good or not is trying him.
According to your description, RVP could be a good option. If you want someone stronger try Rooney.
Regards
Yes as you said I bought RVP and played 1 match with him.. He played very well and scored a goal, assist one and made Hazard the man of the match by his very good passes.. A lot of thanks to you, I really appreciate your help
Thank you. But you will need to play more matches. In my opinion, we need to play at least 20 matches with a player to know how good he is.
A few mistakes london teams have won the league more than 3 times
La liga is the most expensive league
if it helps costas sprint speed is a good bit higher than his pace stat making him nearly as fast as aguero and vertonghen is the best cb to pair with kompany he has all the attributes and I haven’t had him caught out of position because of his work rate yet. And he then adds perfect chemistry to add walker in and you could have clichy on the other side of kompany. That being said Felipe luis is better all round
Hi.
Maybe you are talking about English top division but we are talking about the new format Barclays Premier League that have started in 1992. Chelsea and Arsenal have three titles each one (see more here.)
We are sorry to not agree with you again, but in our opinion BPL is the most expensive one. We know that Messi, Ronaldo, Bale and Luis Suárez are the most expensive players but most of the gamers can not afford them and for an average team BPL is much more expensive than BBVA.
About the players obviously people have different opinions.
Thanks for the tips.. Premier League is nice competition to play in.
Thanks a lot, i’ve been waiting for the guide for like ages!! Any predictions on when the prices will drop Rodrigo?
Me too. I totally pissed off Rodrigo once by asking for this sooo many times that he just told me to wait like he was frustrated as anything. sorry!
P.S. I noticed a mistake. U have mentioned that Suarez moved to R.madrid. Change that b4 the barca fans decide on building a BPL squad!
Thank you!
There are many prices dropping now.
Also i wanted to ask you who do you think is better between ozil-mata and balotelli-remy..i have emough coins to buy one of these four
Balotelli-remy
Thanks, i was waiting for that squad hoping to see for the rest of leagues
