What do you make of EAs decision to replace full squads for the minor leagues with a ROTW SBC?
Does it narrow the player selection too much? It used to be fun playing with a full Liga NOS or Eredivisie team instead of scrambling for links to commonly used players.
We agree with you. They probably did it because with the World Cup coming, they needed to make a shorter TOTS.
I think EA have made a huge mistake by cancelling the full minor league squads (Liga NOS, Super Lig, Russia, Eredivisie, Bancomer MX, etc).
By focusing on the big 5 leagues they ensure that lots of people will use the same generic squads due to the limited player pool.
The inclusion of EFL League 1 and 2 TOTS cards over these leagues is an insult to fans in those countries.

Agreed. The Championship is a huge commercial draw and definitely merits its inclusion in TOTS.
I don’t know about it being “higher” than other top European leagues from a footballing perspective. With the exception of Wolves (courtesy of the Portuguese contingent) I don’t see a single side in the English Championship that is Champions League material.
This is hypothetical, but imagine a league between between Porto, Benfica, Sporting, Ajax, PSV, Anderlecht, Zenit, CSKA, Spartak, Besiktas, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Wolves, Cardiff and Fulham.
The Championship sides would be unlikely to take the top 3 spots.
I don’t hence the reason those other ROTW leagues should also get a full TOTS.

You really don’t think that maybe Marcelo will make it as a Ligue 1 CB? Can I ask why? He’s got two IFs and a decent (somewhat better than Glik or Silva) WhoScored rating. It feels like there should more than 2 CBs in the TOTS.

Cádiz´s GK, Alberto Cifuentes, must be in the silver most consistent. He has only recieved 20 goals in 34 matchs with 38 years. Only Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona, City and Juventus are the only teams, in the two firsts leagues of the ‘big’ european leagues, which have recieved less goals than Cádiz.

We watch, at least, two matches every weekend, so we believe our predictions are OK. We would like to know which players you would take off and who you would add to your predictions.
GK – Casillas (more than 15 games) and decisive in many games
CB – Marcano (least beaten defense)
CM – Herrera (how could you forget Herrera?)
CDM – Danilo (liga NOS mvp, he is injured now but so what?) Fejsa played less games i think
