FC 27 SQUAD BATTLE POINTS
In FC 27 Squad Battles, your rank is determined by the total number of battle points you earn within a single week.
How It Works
Squad Battles is a single-player mode in FC 27 Ultimate Team. Key points to know before starting include:
- You compete against squads created by the global community. Each week, up to 18 matches count towards your Battle Points total. These include matches against community squads, a Featured Squad and the current Team of the Week.
- The weekly competition ends every Sunday. Your Rank is determined by the Battle Points you earn compared with other players, so the leaderboard remains dynamic throughout the competition.
- To begin, go to Ultimate Team, open the [Play] tab and select [Squad Battles].
Matches are split between weekly competition matches and extra matches. Only the first 18 matches count towards your weekly Battle Points total, but additional matches still earn Coins and contribute to Objectives.
Squad Battles can also be played in Co-Op. Invite a friend from your Friends List via the Ultimate Team main menu.
The lobby captain selects the opponent and difficulty level, and both players earn Coins and Battle Points. If either player has already used all of their weekly competition matches, the match does not award Battle Points to that player.
Battle Points
Your Rank in Squad Battles is determined by the total number of Battle Points you earn during the weekly competition. These points are awarded for completing eligible matches.
Battle Points are granted at the end of each of your first 18 Squad Battles matches per week. These are known as weekly competition matches and determine your Rank in the weekly competition.
If you quit a match before it ends, or skip a group of opponents by refreshing the list, you do not receive Battle Points for those matches. Skipped matches still count towards your weekly match limit and cannot be recovered.
The number of Battle Points you earn per match depends on the selected difficulty level, the opponent’s Team Rating and Chemistry, your match result and your in-game performance. The formula for calculating Battle Points is as follows:
Battle Points = Difficulty Bonus × (Team Rating Score + Match Result + Skill Bonus) + Goal Bonus
- Difficulty Bonus
This multiplier reflects the selected difficulty level. It varies depending on whether you win or lose:
| Difficulty | Win | Loss |
| Beginner | 0.5 | 0.2 |
| Amateur | 0.6 | 0.25 |
| Semi-Pro | 0.7 | 0.4 |
| Pro | 1.0 | 0.5 |
| World Class | 1.6 | 0.6 |
| Legendary | 2.1 | 0.7 |
| Ultimate | 2.6 | 0.7 |
- Team Rating Score
This score is based on the opponent’s Team Rating and Chemistry. It is calculated using the following formula:
(Team Rating × 3) + (Chemistry ÷ 2)
| Team Rating | Chemistry | |
| Points | x3 | x0.5 |
- Match Result
You receive 200 points for a win and 50 points for a loss.
| Win | Loss | |
| Points | 200 | 50 |
- Skill Bonus
This reflects your in-game performance. Positive actions, such as scoring goals and completing tackles, add points, while negative actions, such as fouls and cards, deduct points:
| Performance | Pts/Unit | Max Units | Max Limit |
| Scored Goals | +40 | 5 | +200 |
| Shots on Target | +5 | 10 | +50 |
| Successful Tackles | +1 | 20 | +20 |
| Corners | +5 | 10 | +50 |
| Clean Sheets | +75 | 1 | +75 |
| Pass Accuracy % | +1 | 80 | +80 |
| Possession % | +1 | 80 | +80 |
| Man of the Match | +15 | 1 | +15 |
| Goals Conceded | -20 | 4 | -80 |
| Fouls | -5 | 4 | -20 |
| Cards | -10 | 8 | -80 |
| Offsides | -1 | 15 | -15 |
- Goal Bonus
Each goal you score awards additional Battle Points based on the selected difficulty level. The bonus is capped at five goals:
| Difficulty | Pts/Goal | Max Goals | Max Points |
| Beginner | 20 | 5 | 100 |
| Amateur | 30 | 5 | 150 |
| Semi-Pro | 40 | 5 | 200 |
| Pro | 60 | 5 | 300 |
| World Class | 100 | 5 | 500 |
| Legendary | 140 | 5 | 700 |
| Ultimate | 160 | 5 | 800 |
- Featured Squad Battles
Battle Points from Featured Squad Battles are fixed according to the selected difficulty level and match result, rather than being calculated using the standard formula:
| Difficulty | Win | Loss |
| Beginner | 1500 | 1400 |
| Amateur | 1550 | 1400 |
| Semi-Pro | 1600 | 1400 |
| Pro | 1700 | 1400 |
| World Class | 1800 | 1400 |
| Legendary | 1900 | 1400 |
| Ultimate | 2000 | 1400 |
