EA Play 2019 Overview
What exactly is the EA Play 2019?
2019 will mark the fourth year of EA PLAY. What EA envisioned as a celebration of play has become an incredible moment that they love to share with the community each year. EA is so grateful for all their fans who have joined them, and they look forward to making this year an even better experience.
EA PLAY is designed to connect audiences around the world, and bring them closer to the games they love. Whether in person or online, EA PLAY 2019 will connect fans around the world to EA’s biggest new games through live broadcasts, community content, competitions and more.
Those that can attend in Hollywood will experience hands-on gameplay, live entertainment and much more. For anyone joining digitally around the world, EA PLAY will feature live streams, deeper looks into EA’s upcoming games and experiences, and content from some of the best creators in the community. For players, content creators, media, industry partners and more, EA PLAY 2019 will deliver a network of experiences to celebrate a world of play.
The players are at the heart of everything on EA PLAY. The idea is pretty simple – bringing more of them, all around the world, more access, and more play. The massive, free EA PLAY FanFest will feature hands-on gaming stations, demos, live music and more, while a networked experience will connect online players with their favourite games, content creators and each other.
This event will take place from June 7 to June 9, 2019 at The Hollywood Palladium.
EA Play 2019 Program
What will happen on EA Play 2019?
EA PLAY is heading back to the city of stars this June, and EA are bringing you the biggest games of the year.
This year you’ll see less talk and more play. The event will be entirely focused on the heartbeat of EA PLAY: the player communities and the games they love.
✅ First hands-on with some of our biggest games.
✅ Exclusive content from some of the most popular creators in the world.
✅ Free for all to attend.
It all starts this year on Friday night, June 7, 2019, with an all-new EA PLAY kickoff event. EA will be skipping the press conference this year and are replacing it with multiple live streams that will air during the first two days of the event, bringing you more of what you’ve told us you want – more gameplay and insights from the teams making the games.
Weekends are meant for play, and this year EA’ve moved the EA PLAY fanfest to Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 where players will get hands-on with our games. We’ll also have content creators streaming live from their Creator’s Cave in the Hollywood Palladium providing gameplay content to their players viewing online. EA.com will be the home for all online EA PLAY content. Players can get behind-the-scenes with their games via exclusive gameplay reveals, developer talks and breaking news.
