Introduction to the FUT 16 Bundesliga Guide
Building a team is the biggest challenge on FIFA 16 Ultimate Team. It doesn’t need to be the best team, because your budget may not allow it, but it is player’s stature that helps him obtain success.
When choosing which players to play with, you will have to look carefully at their attributes. Choosing a team based on ratings is one of the most common mistakes on FUT 16. It’s precisely this aspect that this guide focuses on. For each position, and focusing on the truly important attributes, we’ll show you who are the best athletes to choose.
It’s also important that you check to see if the player you choose fits the formations you like to play in. For example, a good full back will be useless if you only use a formation with three defenders. According to these formations, you must be cautious and look at the work rate. Try to relate them with the ones we advise in our Formations Guide.
Last but not least, it’s mandatory that you tune all of your team so that the individual and team chemistry will be as high possible. For this last step to be easier, the majority of the players start to define the type of team they’re building. Some choose to gather players of the same nationality, while others decide to form a team of players from the same league. There are also more experienced players that can form hybrid teams without damaging team chemistry a lot.
All of these steps are necessary to have; or it could mean that the team is not always well built as it could be. This article aims to help those that want to form a FIFA 16 Ultimate Team based on players from the Bundesliga. Even the players that have a Bundesliga team, could take out some valuable conclusions from this guide that could help them make their team even better.
We received thousands of comments about similar guides that we have published in previous years. Most of them have asked us to help improve their teams and the players they had. It’s important that the readers understand that this guide is simply guidance. It’s a theme too vast and the player combinations are almost infinite. Besides, there are various factors that influence the choices, like one’s style of play, the formations used, the available budget, the preferences or even the time spent playing. There’s still one uncertain component: a good player for someone might not be for another. If there was a better team everyone would fight to get it. Part of the fun of FIFA 16 Ultimate Team is this: everyone has their personal club and players.
Another important point and that must stay very clear is that whoever is reading this guide, it’s about the criteria we chose and should be of everyone’s knowledge:
- In this guide we didn’t consider silver or bronze players. Most players don’t assume them to be a better option than gold players, so to simplify the guide’s analysis we didn’t include them. In the future we may come to publish guides exclusively talking about these categories.
- In this guide we didn’t consider In Forms (IF). They’re extremely expensive and in most cases are not considered good value for money. They should only be used by players with generous budgets, that already have the best team possible and that want small upgrades.
- In this guide we didn’t consider players that have been transferred to other clubs or that have been reviewed (UP). Only players that started their season in the Bundesliga and with their original attributes were considered.
- In this guide we didn’t consider changes made on a players performance such happens when applying training or chemistry styles cards.
- To make the comprehension of this guide easier we divided the players in nine distinct groups in order of their original position: Goalkeeper (GK), central backs (CB), right backs (RB and RWB), left backs (LB and LWB), central defensive midfielders (CDM) central midfielders (CM and CAM), right midfielders (RM, RW and RF), left midfielders (LM, LW and LF) and forwards (CF and ST).
- In the chapter where FIFA 16 Ultimate Team Bundesliga teams are suggested, the prices considered are the ones of the date of the guide’s publication: October 2015. It’s natural that they have suffered some oscillations throughout the season, so we added a link where you can check the updated prices.
Bundesliga
The Bundesliga lives in the shadow of Barclays PL and BBVA but the truth is that it has many quality players.
The qualification of the champion is made through the made points system. Whichever team gathers the most points wins the league. The first four classified gain access to the champions league of the next year, while the fifth and sixth qualify to the Europa League and the last three trade places with the first two qualified of the 2. Bundesliga and with the play-off winner. Every season starts in August and finishes in May, having 34 game weeks with nine matches each, being a total of 306 matches per season.
The Bundesliga is the most watched sports league in the world and the third best league classified in the UEFA league coefficients.
Started in 1962, the Bundesliga has been conquered by twelve clubs. The dominant club is Bayern Munich, with a total of 24 titles. Borussia Dortmund (5), Borussia Mönchengladbach (5), Werder Bremen (4), Hamburger SV (3), VfB Stuttgart (3), FC Köln (2) and FC Kaiserslautern (2) were the other teams that won more than once.
As of last season, the Bundesliga lost some good players such as Pepe Reina (Bayern – Napoli), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern – Manchester United), Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern – Inter), Ciro Immobile (Borussia Dortmund – Sevilla), Roberto Firmino (1899 Hoffenheim- Liverpool) and Jakub Błaszczykowski (Borussia Dortmund – Fiorentina). But, the biggest transfers out were Kevin De Bruyne and Perisic, from Wolfsburg to Manchester City and Inter.
These transfers didn’t necessarily make the Bundesliga weaker. The German clubs spent many money on strong reinforcements: Adnan Januzaj (Manchester United), Eduardo Vargas (Napoli), Claudio Pizarro, Emiliano Insúa (Atlético de Madrid) and Francisco Rodríguez (Zurich). But the biggest signings of the season happened in Munich: Arturo Vidal and Douglas Costa.
The choices are a lot for which our guide will certainly be useful as to building a team with players from this league. Bundesliga is a good choice to who is looking for quality players, but doesn’t want to spend so much coins as happens in BPL and BBVA based squads.

Best FIFA 16 Bundesliga Goalkeepers
GK
Goalkeepers are the players that are used least on the field. Because of this they are also first ignored when building a team. Most players start their purchases with a forward, later they strengthen the midfield the defence and only later the goal. The truth is a good goalkeeper may be worth a lot of goals. They are a good investment because they are normally the most economically accessible players.
Manuel Neuer is the most popular goalkeeper in the world.

When choosing a good goalkeeper it’s not only down to his rating. There are two fundamental attributes for choosing a good goalkeeper: reflexes and diving.
The first measures a goalkeeper’s agility when making a save. The best on this aspect are Neuer and Sommer.

The most experienced Ultimate Team players know that another leaning factor on a goalkeeper’s performance without considering the remaining four attributes: height. The more tall a goalkeeper is, better his chances of having a clean sheet.
The Bundesliga goalkeepers are very tall. From the 18 goalies, thirteen have at least 190cm. Ralf Fährmann is the tallest one, 13cm taller than Yann Sommer.

The choice for the best Bundesliga goalkeeper on FIFA 16 Ultimate Team is really easy.
Besides being the best Bundesliga goalkeeper in the two most important attributes, Manuel Neuer is also the the one with best positioning, handling and kicking in the entire game.
For us, Bernd Leno is the number two because he has good stats in reflexes and diving and also because his positioning is much better than Yann Sommer’s, our economic choice.

With a centre back, two attributes assume particular importance on their performance: defending and the new attribute physical, which represents strength, stamina, aggression and jumping.
A player with better defending will have an easier chance of dispossessing the opponent and avoid him reaching your box.
It’s the case of the best rated players: Boateng, Hummels, Naldo and Banatia. It’s really hard to get past hem. The most experienced players are normally those who have a higher rating on this attribute.

Defending and heading may be useless against fast opponents. It’s necessary to fight fire with fire. No one likes feeling impotent when seeing you get overrun by extremely fast players. Even though, in a way, centre backs aren’t that fast, every team needs one of these players with a high pace attribute.
Boateng, always him, is the fastest centre back playing in the Bundesliga.

Jérôme Boateng is our number one choice for this position. He is the fastest CB and the one with best physical stats. The Bayern’ defender is the most expensive of all centre backs in Bundesliga.
The big question is: who will partner with Boateng ? It isn’t easy to decide. Hummels is usually the most used, because he has the best passing, dribbling and defending stats. In fact he is a great player and the whole situation with pace this year benefits him massively. However, Naldo and Sokratis are also good choices. They are much faster and have better physical stats.
Toprak is our economic choice. He is fast and has good defending stats.

Best FIFA 16 Bundesliga Central Defensive Midfielders

Many of the FIFA 16 Ultimate Team formations require some midfielders that have a natural aptitude to defend. Central defensive midfielders distinguish themselves for being especially aimed to help the more retreated line of their teams. According to their attributes and their work rates, they can also be useful for starting attacks. They are players that occupy a very strategic position in the field.
Philipp Lahm is the most rated central defensive midfielder in the world. Xabi Alonso and Luiz Gustavo are also popular choices.

There are a variety of attributes in a central defensive midfielder that you have to give attention: defending, so that the first defender of team works; strength, so that you win all brawls in a prone area of the field; heading, to win possession in aerial moves like goal kicks; pace, so that you cover the most terrain on the field as possible; stamina, so they can equally participate in offensive and defensive moves (especially useful for players with high/high work rates); passing and possession so that he can properly start attacks. In our opinion the two first are the most important.
Normally using a central defensive midfielder is associated with having a deficit of elements in your defence. So, it makes sense that when you search for a player to occupy this position you’d want players that can defend.
Lahm, Luiz Gustavo and Bender are really good choices for teams that want to complicate an opponent’s game in the space between the midfield and the defence.

Mario Gotze is a very popular player but we can’t see a reason why we would use him instead of Thiago or even Gündoğan. They are more solid players.

There are three fundamental attributes for a winger: pace, dribbling and passing.
Pace is probably the biggest weapon of these players. They use it to evade opponents and getting to the other side, many times via sprints on the side lines.
The Bundesliga is extremely well served in this chapter. Five gold players have pace 90 or higher, being the highlighted Arjen Robben.

To pick the best left winger from Bundesliga you will need to ask yourself: who is better, Franck Ribéry or Marco Reus ? Despite having worse work rate, one star skill less and a dribbling less perfect, Reus is a player that have more to offer to the team than the Bayern’s winger.
If you don’t have enough coins to buy any of them, you will have to buy Schürrle. He is the third most balanced left winger playing in this league. For low budgets teams, Kostic is the best choice.

To score goals shooting is necessary. If either by foot or head, the most important attribute for a forward are: shooting, heading and pace.
Most goals are scored with the foot so good shooting is a necessary attribute for a forward.

Jump, strength and stamina are the ingredients to the new physical attribute, very important when we are analysing the best forwards: jump to score with the head; strength to dispute the ball with the opponents; and stamina to sprint in direction of goal at any time of the game.
Most of the best Bundesliga strikers don’t have good physical. It’s not the case of Raúl Bobadilla.

Robert Lewandowski only wins in shooting but he is clearly the best Bundesliga striker and one of the best in the entire game. He is even better this year.
Who is also better is Aubameyang. His new position was probably the best thing to happen to this league on FIFA 16. Müller is slightly better than him in almost everything but who doesn’t want to play with the fastest striker of the game ?
Adrián Ramos and Javier Hernández are good choices for teams with low budget.

Bundesliga Team Suggestions
A lot of people think that this is the most important part of the guide. It’s not. The thing that is really important to know is how to choose players based on their role and style of play that fits each player. The team suggestions that follow are simple graphic indicators of what we wrote previously. They should serve merely as orientation because it’s impossible to build a team that fits everyone. They depend on various factors we don’t know such as budget, formation, style of play and player preferences.
To try and explore the needs of the maximum player as possible we suggest three teams with different budgets and formations (1): 4-1-2-1-2 with unlimited budget, 4-3-3 with 100k budget and 4-4-2 with a 25k budget.
(1) These formations were chosen because they are the most popular ones. It doesn’t mean that they are the best formations for this league.
Now, to check the current prices of any player /squad, you just need to check ‘updated price‘

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
If there are undoubted players in this team, Neuer is certainly one of them. It is clear his superiority.
Boateng, Alaba and Piszczek are untouchable in the the defence. The other spot can be taken by Hummels, Naldo or Sokratis. The German centre back is the one with worst stats but in the pitch he can play slightly better than the other two.
Lahm is physically weak but he is still the best centre defensive midfielder in this league. Vidal is a CM that can play well as CDM and CAM. with a high/high work rate and an amazing stamina, he is perfect for this position.
Who builds an unlimited budget Bundesliga squad must use a formation with wingers. Robben, Reus and Ribéry are three of the best wingers in the game.
If about Lewandowski it isn’t needed to say anything, about Aubameyang it may be a bit different. He got this position because he is really fast and he has good attacking stats. If you play with a 4312 formation, for example, Thomas Müller will be perfect to play behind them.
Once all the players reach maximum individual chemistry you can go without a manager for your squad. They’ll be of no use and still spend contracts.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
Most of the players of the previous team are too expensive to be used in the medium budget squad. Piszczek is the only one who keeps been elected to the starting eleven. Leno, Sokratis, Benatia and Ricardo Rodriguez don’t have the same quality but they allow you to save many coins.
For this budget, the central midfield position has to be Luiz Gustavo’s. He builds up the first barrier between your goal line and the opponent, making his defensiveness and physicality count. Thiago and Gündoğan complete the midfield.
In the attack, Bellarabi and Schurrle have the mission to assist Javier Hernandez. If you need a stonger striker, use Adrián Ramos.
If you still have some room in your budget, Naldo and Thomas Müller are players that would improve this squad a lot.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
In the goal, Ralf Fährmann is a decent very cheap goalkeeper. Opare, Toprak, Subotić and Insua are the four other defenders. The two centre backs are more expensive than we usually pick for a low budget team, but they will give you so much security that we couldn’t left them out of this team.
On the midfield, Sven Bender and Junuzovic complete each other well. The first one is a defensive midfielder while the second is used to assisting his team mates. Volland and Kostic fill the wings in order to assist Adrián Ramos and Stefan Kießling.

What do you think could be a possible replacement for pisczek? He is the highest rated RB in the bundes, but he really doesn’t work for me. Is there anyone I could replace him with?
If he is not working for you, it will be very difficult to find someone better. Try Opare…
We need this topic for fifa 17 also
Sure. We are working on it. We believe that we will publish it before the end of the month.
Hello,
A question regarding my squad – I’ve sold a lot of good players, and I had some luck in pack openings. Do you think mig squad is complete or what do I lack or miss? Is the formation OK? Please let me know.
https://www.futhead.com/16/squads/13908691/
The formation depends of your play style and preferences. Your team is brilliant. There is nothing to change there.
can u please explain to me..
i have Nuer for the bundesliga team..
but i cant believe that they put him useless ..he almost not stopping any kick from any player..
even the simple balls..how come he s the best and 90 Att. and he cant stop most of the balls!!!
for me in fifa 16 they put him the worst one,
i even have the Barclays team as u posted exactly but DeGea also comparing with other team am playing with having Cech he cant be compare to him..is there an explanation for this
Assuming that his chemistry and fitness are OK, there is no explanation for that.
how would be with 433(4) Leno-pszck,naldo,boateng,alaba-lahm,müller(cam),vidal-bellarabi,aubameyang,reus but if possible, I want to buy a rb from another league any suggestion to build the chemistry?
Hi.
Why don’t you try Lahm IF? Because it is not easy to find someone from another league without damaging chemistry
that might slightly surpass my budget, I’ll try. But apart from that, do you think building that squad would worth it. Because I’m planning to switch my whole serie A squad
Yes, it would.
I make this team
Gk Leno
Cb nadlo
Cb marteniz
Cb Benita
LM Rodriguez (ik he lb)
Cdm Alonso
Cdm Gustavo
RM bellrabi
Cam gotze
St Muller
St henazdez
Wat do u think
Nice team.
Hi there Rodrigo, this article is amazing, but i have one problem here… I have Robben in my FUT Bundesliga team, but when i play seasons, i get much more response with douglas costa… he is a really beast in Seasons, he scores e passes and he drible like a god…
I know Robben is 90 ovr and Douglas Costa is 83… but in my hands i think the ovr is switched… :p
Do u think it’s reasonable sold Robben to get Douglas Costa?
Yes, you should do it. Sell Robben and buy Douglas Costa.
I have a formation question for admin. My current team and formation are:
Neuer
Piszczek, Hummels, Boateng, Alaba
Müller (CM) Vidal (CM) Gündogan (CM)
Robben (RF) Rues (LF)
Lewandowski (ST)
Bench: Aubameyang, Ribery, Schürrle, Douglas Costa, Kruse, Thiago, Lahm and so on..
Do you think I should keep the formation or switch to 4-1-2-1-2 and play 2 up front?
Müller as a CM is actually great and the team is compact. Only thing is that Lewandowski can be a bit isolated sometimes.
Hi.
It depends of your play style. For most of the players, we believe that keeping the formation would be the right decision.
Thanks for the answer Rodrigo. I’ll keep the formation, everyone has 10 in chemistry and it suits my playing style, if I want a change I can just switch in-game. Just wanted an opinion..!
But would you prefer in-form Naldo instead of Hummels? He’s faster and stronger i reckon.
Great site btw!
IF Naldo looks slightly better.
Hi.. Great article as always.
Here is my bundesliga squad for 2015 ut new season .
My formation is 4-1-2-1-2.
ST: Lewandowski, Mueller
CAM: Gotze
CDM: Phillip Lahm
LM: Reus
RM: Shaqiri
CB: Boateng, Hummels
LB: David Alaba
RB: Using Benatia (CB)
GK: Weidenfeller
SUBS: Vidal (CDM), De Bruyne (CAM), Huntelaar (ST), Mkhitaryan (RM), Kompany, Mata, Eriksen.
All players have individual rating 10 except Benatia who has 6.
Thinking of bringing Piszcek as RB in place of Benatia.
Any other suggestions?
Anything will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Thank you.
First suggestion: Buy Pisczcek
Second suggestion: Buy Leno
Third suggestion: Use Muller as CAM and Aubameyang as ST
Regards
Thanks.
Bought Piszcek and Leno.
Also bought IF Mkhitaryan, Jan Oblak (96 rated) and Totti (94 rated). [Green cards]
Now my team is 87 rated and with 100 chem.
1 more question, what’s up with the new green cards? Most of the green cards are with rating 95 to over 100.
We don’t play on mobile. They are releasing many high rated cards.
Hej, great article!
What do you think about my squad?
GK: Leno ; LB: Rodriguez – CB: Sokratis, Benatia – RB: Piszczek ; CM: Götze, Thiago, Gündogan ; LW: Douglas Costa – ST: Aubameyang – RW: Bellarabi
Estimated changes:
Alaba -> Rodriguez,
Hummels + Naldo -> Sokratis + Benatia,
Vidal -> Götze,
Reus -> Costa
Müller -> Auba (goes to the RW)
If I’d have Lewandowski in the future i’d like to change towards a 4-3-2-1 with Müller as CAM and Auba/Lewi as ST.
Ideas for improvement?
Thank you.
Your squad looks OK. You already showed tha good changes you can make in your squad. I agree with all of them, but I also think you can save for Boateng.
Regards
Is there going to be a new guide with the upgraded players?
It is not in our plans.
and btw, in case i dont have enough coins, should i start with a low budget team and then upgrade the squad?
Yes, you should
Hey, I have a hybrid team of bpl and bundesliga but i wanna build a full bundesliga squad. I have around 50k, should i wait and buy Reus or should I buy Ribery?
Reus
Why do you put just the highest player in all squads
Highest rated players? That’s absolutely not true. Take a look to Aubameyang and Muller, for example.
i have a bundesliga squad with toni krroos, should i make a bundesliga/bbva hybrid?
It depends of your players and budget.
Hi Rodrigo,
Will you do an update for the team selection for all league after the winter upgrade?
Thank You.
No. Maybe for BPL only
Hi Rodrigo,
Since the comments on BPL guide page was closed, can i ask it here because i really need and answer from you.
WIth the recent Koscienly upgrade, do you still think kompany is better than koscielny? If i were to utilize kosc which side(left or right) should i put him with otamendi?
Thank you.
I still think Kompany is slightly better. He is taller and has better stats, expect pace a and few less important ones
Thanks for your advice Rodrigo, after giving kompany another try and i still feel i need koscielny pace, which side do you suggest me to put him with his high defensive work rate alongside otamendi?
Both have the right foot as the best one. So, it depends of the rest of the squad.
My LB azpilicueta and RB is clyne, suggestions?
You can see our suggestions here.
My current Bundesliga Lineup:
GK: Leno
RB: Piszczek
CB: Hummels
CB: Naldo
LB: Rodriguez
RM: Ballarabi
CDM: Vidal
CAM: Muller
LM: Reus
ST: Lewandowski
ST: Aubameyang
Will be looking at a replacing my defence soon; bring in Boatang, Alaba and Neur
Well, with these 3 players you will be almost unbeatable.
Rodrigo i need your help….
Im bored! I have loads of players currently have a bundesliga team with Vidal, Aub, Boateng, Reus etc and Serie A team with everyone other than Pogba…but im bored and want to try a Hybrid.
Im thinking La Liga & Bundesliga, Kroos is obviously a must because he brings it all together.
This is what im thinking so far…
GK Leno
RB Dani Alves
CB Pique & Naldo
LB Ricardo Rodriguez
CDM Busquets
RM Turan
LM Reus
CAM Kroos
ST Benzema
ST Muller
Thoughts? Advice?
That can be a fun team but not as strong as the other ones you had.
You may try Pepe and Krychowiak but they can affect your chemistry or Sergio Ramos but he will affect your wallet.
Reagrds
Rodrigo your guides are great,i have aubayang and I think he is not good his finishing is horrible he always gets the ball taken very easily players always catch up to him. Should I sell him and get muller as my new striker
Sure!
Hi Rodrigo
I’m using a bundes team with 4-4-2 formation and with vidal and bender in the middle. would you advise me changing bender for a more attacking midfielder? if so who do you suggest ?
Thanks
Yes, I suggest changing Bender for a more attacking midfielder, like Thiago or even Muller as CM.
Hi Rodrigo,
Im following your unlimited budget team suggestion, but here i’ve something in mind.
With the same formation 4-1-2-1-2 or (2)
Auba – Lewa
Reus – Muller – Robben
Vidal
Alaba – boateng – hummels – lahm
Neuer
Do you think this would be better than the team you suggested? i asked this because i know you build it with original attributes and position which lahm is CDM.
Hope to hear from you, thank you.
Regards,
Hana
Yes, it looks better but the chemistry is not as good as the one we published.
Do you mean the green/yellow line chemistry? I suppose yellow line chemistry is as good as green since the chemistry is already 100 for the team and also 10 for every individual, no?
Yes, you are right. But Lahm individual chemistry is still 10 ?
Yup after 10 games Lahm and Vidal IC become 10 too. So it is now basically 100 TC and 100 IC. Your team suggestion was very good for me but it is Piszczek doesn’t convince me and i feel Muller was wasted. What do you think about this team though?
I’m sorry i made a mistake there with my 1st reply. Lahm IC become 4. I’ve to use position change him to RB in order to get 10 IC.
The problem is that you can’t turn a CDM in a RB.
Haha yeah just found out about this truth, so sad.
Btw can you suggest me unlimited budget lineup for 4-3-3 (2)/(4)? Realized i play alot down the flank and cut into the box. Struggling to decide which ST i should drop and which midfielder to play. Muller? Thiago? and which side to play to them.
In your case, Lewa and Muller should be the players you should keep.
Thanks for your advise so far Rodrigo,
Do you mean like this?
Reus – Lewa – Robben
Muller – Lahm – Vidal
Alaba – Boateng – Hummels – Piszczek
Yes, looks great
Agreed, Robben is fantastic his ball control and dribbling are out of this world in comparison to anyone else i’ve used. Great at drawing clumsy fouls in the box to.
I have now sold and re-built my Bundesliga squad twice follwoing the price crash during TOTY.
Personally I have found that the Bundeliga offers the best in terms of depth and breadth of the squad having built both a BPL and La Liga team as well. Would be excellent if you could update this with and informed review of all IF bundesliga players with a value analysis. Can’t recommend this league enough to be honest.
Having used both Reus and Ribery though i’d have to argue the point that Ribery is actually as good as Reus if not slighlty better depending on your play style. Im not one for long shots but more for cutting inside the box and therefore riberys ball control and dribbling stats make him perfect for this.
why does no one buy Robben?(I didn’t see it in the reviews) He is probably one of the best players from the bundesliga, isn’t he?
Yes, he is. However, he is also expensive. Not everyone can pay 200k for a single player!
So this is the team i have at moment…
(4-5-1)
GK; Leno
RB; Piszceck
CB; Hummels
CB; Naldo
LB; Rodriguez(Wolfsburg)
CM; Lahm
RM; Costa
LM; Schurrle
CAM; Gundogen
CAM; Muller
ST; Aubyamang
Saving up to upgrade Gundogen to Gotze / Vidal,
Then onto saving for Reus.
Play like a passing game.
Thanks
Hi.
In our opinion, your next buys are the right ones.
Thank you Rodrigo, Appreciate what you do!
Team is now;(4-5-1)
Leno,
Piszceck, Hummels, Naldo, Rodriguez,
Lahm
Douglas Costa, Gotze, Vidal, Ribery,
Aub
with 2nd XI(4-3-3)
Starke
Rafinha, Benatia, Martinez, Insua,
Gustavo
Bellarbia, Kagawa, Thiago, Schurrle,
Muller
xtra – Huntelaar.
Now saving for Alaba, this is hard work!! But after building Prem , Serie A and La Liga this is my fav so far! So many good CAM/CM’s!!
Quick question is it better to have Gotze & Vidal as CAM’s or player like Kruse TOTW? Is a IF/Hero card better in your opinion?
In my opinion, NIF cards are better value for money. I would choose Gotze & Vidal.
Bundeshliga 433 (4)
Hi,
I have Bundeshliga Team that has 433 (4) formation. line up is
Neuer
Alaba
Hummels
Boateng
Piszczek
Vidal
Muller
Gundogan
Reus
Lewandowski
Mkhitaryan
I m thinking to change reus / Ribery , Gundogan / Lahm, Mkhitaryan/ Costa. What do you think? do you have other suggestion?
I agree with all your thoughts except with Ribery. I think Reus is better.
Hi, thanks for your cool guides. there’s my team;
Formation: 4-4-1-1
gk: Leno
lb:Rodriguez
cb:Hummels
cb:Sokratis
rb:Opare
lm:Shürrle
cm:Thiago
cm:Gündoğan
rm:Mkhitaryan
cf:Hernandez
st:Aubameyang
also have Luiz Gustavo on bench. I prefer not to pay 100k on a player but 20-30k for good players and stay at lower rating.Any improvements for keeping the ball?
You already have a possession squad.
Yes, thanks. But i asked for improvements especially in midfield. Lahm or Vidal instead of Thiago or Gündoğan maybe?
If you have enough coins for Lahm and Vidal, go ahead.
i have coins for only one of them =) So i don’t know which one is a better replacement.
In that case, buy Vidal.
Awesome guide, however when playing with the Bundesliga team I found a weak point to be right back. I opted for a 4-3-3 formation with two strikers and a CAM just behind with 3 CM’s making Gustavo the right CM enabling me to put in Dani Alves at RB with Naldo next to him in CB meaning there is still 100 chemistry running through the team.
Hey Rodrigo
Can you give me some advises about new team around aubameyang. I used to play with 4-5-1, 4-4-1-1 but it’s ok if you have any better formation.
I have auba, j.hernandez and kruse now. Last, i domt have much money so can you make a squad with <85 rated players. Thanks so much.
Why don’t you follow our medium budget squad suggestion ?!
Happy Holidays.
IF Gonzalo Castro – Xabi Alonso or Luiz Gust for 433(2) CDM. I try to play possesion but I can go on fast attacks
IF Naldo or IF Hummels? OR use BOTH and get rid of Boateng?
Last, IF Muller or IF Max Kruse FOR Attacking CM?
— Pace Doesn’t matter for me, but If you think it will make a big impact, I leave the choice to you.
Thank you.
IF Gonzalo Castro – Luiz Gustavo
IF Hummels – Boateng
IF Muller
Hey,Rodrigo is fifa 15’s 86-rated getze better than fifa 16’s vidal as a cam?
No.
Hi and thanks for the answer…so I have the following players : Vidal,Schweinsteiger,Lahm,Muller.I play 4-1-2-1-2.I don’t know which 2 players are the best for the CAM and CDM positions. What do you think?
Maybe Vidal as CDM and Muller as CAM if you like attacking style.
Greetings. As always it is a pleasure to read your guides, even though based on personal experience on low-budget teams I do have my own personal oppinions on two subjects:
First one, maybe you left out some pretty good options for the low budget team on the attacking side. Tewny mentioned Max Kruse (who is honestly amazing and has scored almost every match he’s played); I’d complement his comment with Raffael, who’s pretty fun to use as well (his double 4* stats are amazing). They outshine Ramos and even Choupo-Moting on great scale, and the best part is that they’re very versatile, as CF allows one to play them at CAM with only a slight chemistry downgrade.
On my second disagreement, Junuzovic surely deserves a higher score on your ratings. Personally he’s only second to Vidal, and it’s all because of his all-rounded stats. On my perception of FIFA 16 so far, this is definitely the kind of thing you’re looking in your CM. And fortunately enough, he’s cheap enough to even make it in your low-budget team, but from what I’ve experienced he should cost even 3x more, and that’s keeping it low.
Maybe I could argue Vieirinha being a sub, as he’s not only proven to be fun, but efficient when needed inside the box. To be fair, I haven’t tried Volland yet, though.
Also, I think that based on my previous comments Choupo-Moting definitely outshines Kießling and Ramos; I guess you can infer my reasons for this being said (as a Colombian it was particularly hard to admit it).
Finally, I can bet you could make a extra low-budget team with pretty amazing results. I’ve had interesting experiences with lots of other players. Bundesliga surely is one of the most entertaining leagues.
Thank you very much for your attention, and if you’re interested in my point of view please let me know, I’d be glad to be of any assistance.
Thank you for your precious feedback.
Where is max kruse.Awesome fwd much more effective than ramos and hernandes
We all have different opinions. 🙂
At the moment I use Lahm and Vidal as holding midfielders with Muller as my CAM,who would you chose for a back up CAM?Gotze?
Thiago
The price of players has really dropped over the last week,I sold my entire team the other day with the idea of buying back a better squad. The price of Reus has dropped from 200k to roughly 120k on the Xbox.Do you see the prices dropping even further?do you think waiting for Black Friday is a good idea?
I believe that prices wil be even lower during Black Friday but it is always a risk to wait.
Seems that Fifa haven’t put any special packs on for this years Black Friday,iv noticed the prices have gone back up.
Lots of special packs were released yesterday as you can see here.
Prices were really low during the morning/afternoon but after the 100k pack they started to go up again.
Rodrigo Lopes you are the best man… keep going!!!
Hey Rodrigo,
Which league (Bundes, Serie A, etc) do you think is the best in terms of overall player quality for a reasonable price (no guys like Ronaldo, Messi who are over 1 mil…). Do you think sticking to one league is better than making hybrid squads?
I look forward to hearing back from you,
Mike
It’s easier to make one league squad than a hybrid. My suggestion is Serie A, great value for money.
Regards
Hi your guides is the best guides i found on the net i would like to know your thoughts on my squad

LW HAZZARD
RW ROBBEN /BALE NEED ADVICE
ST AGUERO /AUBAMEYANG
I’m okay with coins so if you want me to buy anything just let me know please
Hi.
You are asking to pick the best one but you should pay attention to the chemistry first.
Thiago and Modric are better tha the other two.
Love your guides!
Hi Rodrigo, First of all I would like to say I love your guides and I have been reading them for some time.
So I decided to build a bundesliga squad: 4-1-4-1
IF Fahrmann
Piszczek – Hummels – Boateng – Alaba
Lahm
Douglas Costa – Vidal – Thiago – Reus
Lewandowski
My question, Vidal is my box to box and Thiago is the offensive cm,should I use Müller as my offensive cm or should I stick with Thiago? and If I can improve this squad, how can I? Should I stick with 4141 or a formation change? I want to play possesion football kinda like Bayern in real life. Thank you very much!
Thank you.
I think the only change you should try to do is replacing Thiago by Muller. The formation is OK.
Regards
Hi Rodrigo can you help me with a new team with aubeme Aubameyang
What do you need?
Hi Rodrigo which one do you think is better as a CDM? This year’s Lahm or past year’s Schweinsteiger?
Schweinsteiger
Hey rodrigo. I would like to ask which of the low and mid budget squads you have built:serie a,liga bbva, bpl or bundesliga do you think is the best and has the most value for money?
To me Bundesliga low budget squad is the best one. However, Serie A has the best value for money.
Which of the low budget teams that you created : liga bbva, bpl, bundesliga, serie a do you think is the best one?
I have been using Muller at CAM and he is amazing. Im suprised the guide only looks at him as a striker option
You need to read the whole article!
From the unlimited budget squad description:
” If about Lewandowski it isn’t needed to say anything, about Aubameyang it may be a bit different. He got this position because he is really fast and he has good attacking stats. If you play with a 4312 formation, for example, Thomas Müller will be perfect to play behind them.”
Rodrigo, Great guide – still following you – a typo I noticed on LM`s summary you used Serie A words, all the best
Sorry about that. We have fixed that now.
Thank you!
Hey Rodrigo,
Great post, as per usual. However, one thin i noticed is that there seems to be a mistake when talking about the LWs. You start out by saying “There is lack of quality left wingers in Bundesliga. It’s probably the weakest position of this league.” Then, you begin to discuss Serie A TIM LW-ers: “In our opinion, Felipe Anderson is the best left winger. His stats are not great, but pace and dribbling, which are the most important ones, look amazing. If you are looking for someone that also helps your defence, you should try Kwadwo Asamoah. He is not fast as Gervinho and Felipe Anderson…”
Just thought I’d give you a heads up!
Best,
Mike
Sorry about that. Thank you very much !!!!!
What do you think of Aubameyang? I’ve never had a Bundes team in the fiveFIFA’s in which I’ve played FUT. My friends say Auba is not really good as he feels unbalanced. I mean the 66 Balance stat he has. I’ve tried high rated players with low balance in the past and found out their long shot and ‘composure’ when finishing seems to be affected by this stat. Sometimes rushed or bad posture while shooting from distance, results in a badly directed shot. Or a miss, if in the area and not using finesse.
As all your content, awesome guide. Thank you for your possible insight.
I think he is better this year. It’s true that he is not perfect (you already explained why) but in Bundesliga only Lewandowski is better than him.
Regards
