Introduction to the FUT 14 Bundesliga Guide

Building a team is the biggest challenge in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team. It doesn’t need to be the best team, even because the budget may not allow it, but it needs to be the player’s stature for him to obtain success.

When choosing which players to play with, you will have to look carefully at their attributes. Choosing a team based on ratings is one of the most common mistakes on FUT 14. It’s precisely this aspect that this guide focuses on. For each position, and focusing on the truly important attributes, we’ll show who are the best athletes to choose.

It’s also important that the player checks to see if the player he chooses fits the formations he likes to play in. For example, a good full back will be useless if the player only uses formations with three defenders. According to those formations, the player must be cautious to look at the work rates, trying to relate them with the ones we advise in our Formations Guide.

Last but not least, it’s mandatory that you tune all of your team so that the individual and team chemistry be as high possible. For this last step to be easier, the majority of the players start to define the type of team they’re building. Some choose gathering players of the same nationality, while others decide to form a team of players from the same league. The most popular leagues are the Brazilians and the Barclays Premier League. There are also more experienced players that can form hybrid teams without damaging the chemistry a lot.

All of these steps are necessary to have; it could be that the team is not always well built as it could’ve been. This article aims to help those that think or want to form a FIFA 14 Ultimate Team based on players from the Bundesliga. Even the ones have one, could take out some valuable conclusion from this guide that could help turn your team even better.

It’s important that the readers understand that this guide is simply guidance. It’s a theme too vast and the player’s combinations are almost infinite. Besides, there are various factors that influence the choices, like it’s one’s style of play, the formations used, the available budget, the preferences or even the time spent playing. There’s still one uncertain component: a good player for someone might not be for another. If there was a better team everyone would fight to get it. Part of the fun of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team is this: everyone has their personal club and players.

Another important point and that must stay very clear is that whoever is reading this guide, it’s about some criteria we chose and should be of everyone’s knowledge:

  • Only Gold Players
    • In this guide we didn’t consider silver or bronze player. Most players don’t assume them to be a better option than gold players, so to simplify the guide’s analysis we didn’t include them. In the future we may come to publish guides exclusively talking about these categories.
  • Only Regular Players
    • In this guide we didn’t consider In Forms (IF). They’re extremely expensive and in most cases are not considered good value for money. They should only be used by players with generous budgets, that already have the best team possible and that want small upgrades.
  • Only Normal Players
    • In this guide we didn’t consider players that have been transferred to other clubs or that have been reviewed (UP). Only players that started their season in the Bundesliga and with their original attributes were considered.
  • Only Original Attributes
    • In this guide we didn’t consider changes made on a players performance such happens when applying training or chemistry styles cards.
  • Position analysis
    • To make the comprehension of this guide easier we divided the players in nine distinct groups in order of their original position: Goalkeeper (GK), central backs (CB), right backs (RB and RWB), left backs (LB and LWB), central defensive midfielders (CDM) central midfielders (CM and CAM), right midfielders (RM, RW and RF), left midfielders (LM, LW and LF) and forwards (CF and ST).
  • Prices at the date of publication of the guide
    • In the chapter where FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Bundesliga teams are suggested, the prices considered are the ones of the date of the guide’s publication: December 2013. It’s natural that the prices have suffered some oscillations throughout the season, so they should only be considered as guiding prices.

    Bundesliga

The Bundesliga lives in the shadow of Barclays PL and BBVA but the truth is that it has many quality players, as it shows the fact that the two finalists of the last Champions League were both Germans.

The qualification of the champion is made through the made points system. Whichever team gathers the most points wins the league. The first four classified gain access to the champions league of the next year, while the fifth and sixth qualify to the Europa League and the last three trade places with the first two qualified of the 2. Bundesliga and with the play-off winner. Every season starts in August and finishes in May, having 34 game weeks with nine matches each, being a total of 306 matches per season.

The Bundesliga is the most watched sports league in the world and the third best league classified in the UEFA league coefficients.

Started in 1962, the Bundesliga has been conquered by twelve clubs. The dominant club is Bayern Munich, with a total of 22 titles. Borussia Dortmund (5), Borussia Mönchengladbach (5), Werder Bremen (4), Hamburger SV (3), VfB Stuttgart (3), FC Köln (2) and FC Kaiserslautern (2) were the other teams that won more than once.

As to last season, the Bundesliga lost some good players such as Michal Kadlec (Fenerbache SK), Daniel Carvajal (Real Madrid CF), Christoph Metzelder (retirado), Serdar Tasci (Spartak Moscow), Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City), Daniel Williams (Reading) and Anatoliy Tymoshchuk (Zenit St. Petersburg). But, the biggest out transfers were the move of Andre Schürrle from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to the Chelsea by 22 million Euros and the move of Mario Gómez from FC Bayern Munich to Fiorentina by 15.5 million Euros.

These transfers didn’t necessarily make the Bundesliga weaker. The Germans teams spent more than 270 million Euros on strong reinforcements:Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Saint-Étienne), Giulio Donati (Inter), Kevin-Prince Boateng (AC Milan), Vladimír Darida (Viktoria Pilsen), Václav Kadlec (Sparta Praga), Raffael (Dinamo Kiev), Marcelo (PSV), Todor Nedelev (Botev Plovdiv), Tarik Elyounoussi (Rosenborg) and Anthony Modeste (Bordeaux). But the biggest signings of the season happened in Munich and Dortmund. Thiago Alcántara and Henrikh Mkhitaryanhave joined to Bundesliga by 65 million Euros, almost a quarter of the all money spent by the all Bundesliga clubs this season.

The choices are a lot for which our guide will certainly be useful as to building a team with players from this league. Bundesliga is a good choice to who is looking for quality players, but doesn’t want to spend so much coins as happens in BPL and BBVA based squads.

    FUT 14 Bundesliga Goalkeepers (GK)

Goalkeepers are the players that are less used on field. Because of this they are also the disdained when building a team. Most players start their purchases with a forward, later they strengthen the midfield the defence and only later the goal. The truth is a good goalkeeper may be worth a lot of goals. It’s good investment because they’re normally the most economically accessible players.

Manuel Neuer is the more popular goalkeeper from Bundesliga. To many gamers, he is the best FUT 14 goalkeeper. Only René Adler and Roman Weidenfeller have a rating that can be compared. For having the best rating they are also the most searched by this league’s teams so they’re more expensive.

    MOST HIGH-RATED GOALKEEPERS
Manuel Neuer 86 Germany Bayern München
René Adler 84 Germany Hamburger SV
Roman Weidenfeller 83 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Bernd Leno 80 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Diego Benaglio 80 Switzerland VfL Wolfsburg
    Marc-André ter Stegen 80 Germany Borussia M’gladbach
Sven Ulreich 79 Germany VfB Stuttgart
Kevin Trapp 79 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
Oliver Baumann 78 Germany SC Freiburg
    Ron-Robert Zieler 78 Germany Hannover 96

When choosing a good goalkeeper it’s not only down to his rating. There are two fundamental attributes for choosing a good goalkeeper: reflexes and diving.

The first measures a goalkeeper’s agility when making a save. The best on this aspect are the three goalkeepers with better rating: Manuel Neuer, René Adler and Roman Weidenfeller.

    GOALKEEPERS WITH BEST REFLEXES
Manuel Neuer 87 Germany Bayern München
René Adler 86 Germany Hamburger SV
Roman Weidenfeller 85 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Tim Wiese 85 Germany 1899 Hoffenheim
Bernd Leno 84 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Jaroslav Drobný 84 Czech Republic Hamburger SV
Diego Benaglio 83 Switzerland VfL Wolfsburg
    Marc-André ter Stegen 83 Germany Borussia M’gladbach
Sven Ulreich 83 Germany VfB Stuttgart
Thomas Kraft 83 Germany Hertha BSC

Diving is a fundamental attribute when choosing a goalkeeper. It measures the capacity for a goalkeeper to make a save when jumping.

Also in this aspect, Neuer and Adler are the best on Bundesliga. Diego Benaglio is one of the players of our short list. He has one of the best divings of Bundesliga.

    GOALKEEPER WITH BEST DIVING
René Adler 86 Germany Hamburger SV
Manuel Neuer 85 Germany Bayern München
Diego Benaglio 84 Switzerland VfL Wolfsburg
Roman Weidenfeller 83 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Bernd Leno 82 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Sven Ulreich 82 Germany VfB Stuttgart
Tim Wiese 81 Germany 1899 Hoffenheim
    Marc-André ter Stegen 80 Germany Borussia M’gladbach
Kevin Trapp 80 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
Oliver Baumann 80 Germany SC Freiburg

The most experienced Ultimate Team players know that another leaning factor on a goalkeeper’s performance without considering the remaining four attributes: height. The more tall a goalkeeper is, better his chances of having a clean sheet.

This is Roman Weidenfeller’s weak point. Even though he can’t be considered a short goalkeeper, the truth is he’s 6 cm short of the mighty Diego Benaglio, this gold goalkeeper holds the title of tallest Bundesliga Goalkeeper. Neuer from FC Bayern and Adler from Hamburger SV are both above 1,90 m.

    TALLEST GOALKEEPERS
    Diego Benaglio 194 Switzerland Bundesliga
    Tom Starke 194 Germany Bundesliga
    Manuel Neuer 193 Germany Bundesliga
    Tim Wiese 193 Germany Bundesliga
    Sven Ulreich 192 Germany Bundesliga
Jaroslav Drobný 192 Czech Republic Bundesliga
    René Adler 191 Germany Bundesliga
    Bernd Leno 190 Germany Bundesliga
    Raphael Schäfer 190 Germany Bundesliga
Marc-André ter Stegen 189 Germany Bundesliga

The choice for the best Bundesliga goalkeeper on FIFA 14 Ultimate team, is easy.

In our opinion, Manuel Neuer is still the best choice. Besides being the best with one of the two most important attributes and the second best on the other, he’s also who has the best kicking. For us, René Adler is the best alternative to the European Champion. Despite he is slow and not having a good kicking, he has amazing stats in the two more important attributes. He is a huge bargain.

For those who want a cheap goalkeeper, Diego Benaglio is a great choice. He is not as good as the three best Bundesliga goalkeepers but he is tall, has good diving and excellent reflexes. The price is unbeatable…

FUT 14 Bundesliga Central Backs (CB)

A goalkeepers task is made easier if in front of him are quality central backs. Their function is to stop the opponent from getting dangerously close to your team’s goal.

Mats Hummels and Dante are the central backs with the best reputation in the Bundesliga. No other players can be compared to them.

    HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL BACKS
Mats Hummels 85 Germany Borussia Dortmund
    Dante 84 Brazil Bayern München
Benedikt Höwedes 82 Germany FC Schalke 04
Neven Subotic 82 Serbia Borussia Dortmund
Holger Badstuber 81 Germany Bayern München
Jérôme Boateng 81 Germany Bayern München
    Sokratis 80 Greece Borussia Dortmund
    Naldo 80 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Daniel van Buyten 78 Belgium Bayern München
Martin Stranzl 78 Austria Borussia M’gladbach

On a central back, two attributes assume particular importance on their performance: defending and heading.

A player with better defending will have an easier chance of dispossessing the opponent and avoid him reaching your box.

It’s the case of the best rated player: Hummels. It’s really hard to get past him. The most experienced players are normally those who have a higher rating on this attribute. Dante proves this.

    CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Mats Hummels 86 Germany Borussia Dortmund
    Dante 84 Brazil Bayern München
Benedikt Höwedes 83 Germany FC Schalke 04
Holger Badstuber 82 Germany Bayern München
    Sokratis 81 Greece Borussia Dortmund
    Naldo 81 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Neven Subotic 80 Serbia Borussia Dortmund
Daniel van Buyten 80 Belgium Bayern München
Martin Stranzl 80 Austria Borussia M’gladbach
Jérôme Boateng 79 Germany Bayern München

On a game partially made difficult on stopping an opponent’s header in our box, possessing good heading is even more important on a central back than it was before. Allow him to be superior in your box when defending air balls but it’s also worth it on set pieces, like corners where a central backs jump may just be worth some goals.

In this chapter Papadopoulos and Hummels are the strongest ones. The Greek is the shortest CB of the Bundesliga but he is also who has the best heading and jumping. If you choose to not buy one of them, Felipe Santana and Fallou Diagne handle it pretty well.

In the other hand, Naldo and Daniel van Buyten are the tallest central backs in the league, but they are also who have worst jumping. The Belgian is a player to avoid at all cost, even for his low speed.

    CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER HEADING
Kyriakos Papadopoulos 86 Greece FC Schalke 04
Mats Hummels 85 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Felipe Santana 84 Brazil FC Schalke 04
Benedikt Höwedes 82 Germany FC Schalke 04
Neven Subotic 82 Serbia Borussia Dortmund
Jérôme Boateng 82 Germany Bayern München
    Sokratis 82 Greece Borussia Dortmund
    Dante 81 Brazil Bayern München
Philipp Wollscheid 80 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Heiko Westermann 80 Germany Hamburger SV

Defending and heading may be useless against fast opponents. It’s necessary to fight fire with fire. No likes feeling impotent when seeing you get overrun by extremely fast players. Even though, in a way, centre backs aren’t that fast, every team needs one of these players with a high pace attribute.

Hummels and Dante are potentially the best central backs of Bundesliga but both are very slow. Felipe Santana, the third fastest CB of the world, may be a good option. Sokratis and Neven Subotic are also fast players and possess better attributes, in a way that either one of these two present themselves as a viable for a defence based on the Bundesliga.

    CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Felipe Santana 81 Brazil FC Schalke 04
    Sokratis 77 Greece Borussia Dortmund
Ömer Toprak 77 Turkey Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Jérôme Boateng 75 Germany Bayern München
David Abraham 75 Argentina 1899 Hoffenheim
    Naldo 74 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Joel Matip 74 Cameroon FC Schalke 04
Fallou Diagne 74 Senegal SC Freiburg
Bamba Anderson 73 Brazil Eintracht Frankfurt
Neven Subotic 72 Serbia Borussia Dortmund

Hummels intercepts everything that is at his reach. But, if the style of play of the team is to concede extremely fast counter-attacks we don’t advise him. He’s a slow defender that compromises the team in fast attacks. Dante is a central back slightly worse than the German but with similar stats. We only recommend to use both players on the same team at the same time if the formation has 5 defenders.

Benefiting from their popularity and their characteristic for a good chemistry, Jérôme Boateng come up as being one of the first choices for teams based on the main German League. He is without a doubt a good player for this position but there are other cheaper solutions. Like, Felipe Santana and Sokratis, the central backs with best average between the three most important attributes we considered.

FUT 14 Bundesliga Right Backs (RB and RWB)

Full backs have the role of troubling the mission of the wingers. Not only. In addition, good full backs also support their team mates on offensive maneuvers.

For all players with a good budget, to choose the best right back is something very simple. Philipp Lahm is by far the best one.

    HIGHEST RATED RIGHT BACKS
Philipp Lahm 87 Germany Bayern München
Lukasz Piszczek 83 Poland Borussia Dortmund
Christian Träsch 76 Germany VfL Wolfsburg
Sebastian Jung 76 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
    Rafinha 76 Brazil Bayern München

There are very important attributes in any right back: defending and pace.

Since they’re defenders they should have good defending capacities. This reduces a team’s risk of conceding.

Lahm is the players that best fits this aspect. The only other players that offer any type of competition is Lukasz Piszczek.

    RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Philipp Lahm 82 Germany Bayern München
Lukasz Piszczek 81 Poland Borussia Dortmund
Christian Träsch 76 Germany VfL Wolfsburg
Sebastian Jung 74 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
    Rafinha 72 Brazil Bayern München

A flanked game tends to be faster than a game based in the middle of the field. The players that fill these spaces are obligated to be fast, both penetrating defensive and attacking moves of the team. Pace is one of the most important requirements for a good full back.

Between all of the right backs of Bundesliga, Lukasz Piszczek is the fastest one. This is the weakest point of Lahm, the second fastest Right Back.

    RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Lukasz Piszczek 85 Poland Borussia Dortmund
Philipp Lahm 79 Germany Bayern München
    Rafinha 79 Brazil Bayern München
Sebastian Jung 78 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
Christian Träsch 73 Germany VfL Wolfsburg

Philipp Lahm is undoubtedly the best right back playing on Bundesliga. He is who has the best passing, dribbling and defending, important attributes in a full back.

If you don’t have enough coins to buy him, choose Lukasz Piszczek. He is a great player too. The Polish player is also the best one in three of the six main attributes: pace, shooting and heading. His impressive stamina makes his work rate high/high even more precious. The third on our list is Rafinha.

Best FUT 14 Bundesliga Left Backs (LB e LWB)

Left backs have exactly the same role of their team mates on the other flank. In other words, they try to make a winger’s job hard and participate on the team’s offensive manoeuvres.

There is only a player that stands out in this position: David Alaba.

    HIGHEST RATED LEFT BACKS
David Alaba 81 Austria Bayern München
Marcel Schmelzer 78 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Marcell Jansen 76 Germany Hamburger SV
Marcel Schäfer 76 Germany VfL Wolfsburg
Christian Fuchs 75 Austria FC Schalke 04

Alaba is the most popular left back playing on the Bundesliga, but he is not who has best defending. Marcel Schmelzer, from Borussia Dortmund, is the number one on this list.

    LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Marcel Schmelzer 78 Germany Borussia Dortmund
David Alaba 77 Austria Bayern München
Marcell Jansen 76 Germany Hamburger SV
Marcel Schäfer 74 Germany VfL Wolfsburg
Christian Fuchs 74 Austria FC Schalke 04

Alaba is one of the five fastest left backs in the world. He makes his speed his biggest threat, differing from other players from this position. All of them are a lot slower.

    LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
David Alaba 86 Austria Bayern München
Marcell Jansen 80 Germany Hamburger SV
Marcel Schmelzer 78 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Marcel Schäfer 77 Germany VfL Wolfsburg
Christian Fuchs 73 Austria FC Schalke 04

To choose the best Left Back from Bundesliga is a task even easier than do it on the opposite side. Alaba is the fastest, who has better passing, shooting and dribbling. More than a defence, he is very important in the attack of his team.

Of all the remaining players, Marcell Jansen is our cheapest choice. Despite having a lower rating than Marcel Schmelzer, he seems to be better player.

Best FUT 14 Bundesliga Defensive Midfielder (CDM)

Many of the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team formations require some midfielders that have a natural aptitude to defend. Central defensive midfielders distinguish themselves for being especially aimed to help the more retreated line of their teams. According to their attributes and their work rates, they can also be useful for starting attacks. They are players that occupy a very strategic position in the field.

The supremacy of Javi Martinez, Luiz Gustavo and Sven Bender over all other Bundesliga central defensive midfielders is extremely clear.

    HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS
Javi Martinez 84 Spain Bayern München
Luiz Gustavo 81 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Sven Bender 81 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Sebastian Kehl 79 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Simon Rolfes 79 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Stefan Reinartz 78 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Jermaine Jones 77 United States FC Schalke 04
Sebastian Rode 77 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
Pirmin Schwegler 77 Switzerland Eintracht Frankfurt
Håvard Nordtveit 76 Norway Borussia M’gladbach

There are a variety of attributes in a central defensive midfielder that you have to give attention: defending, so that the first defender of team works; strength, so that you win all brawls on a prone area of the field; heading, to win possession in aerial moves like goal kicks; pace, so that you cover the most terrain on the field as possible; stamina, so they can equally participate in offensive a defensive moves (especially useful for players with high/high work rates); passing and possession so that he can properly start attacks. In our opinion the two first are the most important.

Normally using a central defensive midfielder is associated with having a deficit of elements in your defence. So, it makes sense that when you search for a player to occupy this position you’d want players that can defend.

The CDM with best defending stats is Javi Martinez. He is also the player that have better heading so he is a really good choice for teams that want to complicate an opponent’s game in the space between the midfield and the defence.

CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Javi Martinez 84 Spain Bayern München
Luiz Gustavo 83 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Sven Bender 83 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Stefan Reinartz 82 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Sebastian Kehl 81 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Simon Rolfes 79 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Jermaine Jones 79 United States FC Schalke 04
Håvard Nordtveit 78 Norway Borussia M’gladbach
William Kvist 77 Denmark VfB Stuttgart
Marco Höger 76 Germany FC Schalke 04

The area of the field occupied by the central defensive midfielders is the one where most ball dispute happen. Strong players will have a higher probability of winning the ball.

There’s a lot of muscle between the central defensive midfielders of Bundesliga. Once again, Javi Martinez is the one that stands out. On the other hand there’s Sebastian Rode. The Dortmund’s player rarely wins a physical brawl due to being the weakest central defensive midfielder from the main German League.

    STRONGEST CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS
Javi Martinez 87 Spain Bayern München
Stefan Reinartz 85 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Sebastian Kehl 83 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Jermaine Jones 81 United States FC Schalke 04
Håvard Nordtveit 80 Norway Borussia M’gladbach
Luiz Gustavo 79 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Julian Baumgartlinger 79 Austria 1. FSV Mainz 05
Simon Rolfes 77 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Marco Höger 77 Germany FC Schalke 04
Roman Neustädter 77 Germany FC Schalke 04

Despite being slow, Javi Martinez is our first choice for this position. He is the best defensive midfielder on the most important attributes. However, if you need someone faster, the natural choice is Luiz Gustavo. He is not as good as the German but he will not compromise on the pace.

Among the cheap players, Stefan Reinartz is almost as good as Sven Bender

A lot of games are decided on the midfield and not close to the goals. The players that play in these zones are the ones that should create the game and define its rhythm.

There is many quality in the Bundesliga midfield. Some of the best footballers of this league play in this position. It’s the case of the European Champions Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Gotze and Toni Kroos.

    HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS
Bastian Schweinsteiger 88 Germany Bayern München
Mario Götze 85 Germany Bayern München
Toni Kroos 84 Germany Bayern München
Ilkay Gündogan 84 Germany Borussia Dortmund
    Diego 84 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Rafael van der Vaart 83 Netherlands Hamburger SV

Lars Bender 81 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
    Kevin-Prince Boateng 81 Ghana FC Schalke 04
    Thiago 81 Spain Bayern München

Central midfielders are responsible for discovering lines that break the opponents defence. Their passing quality has to be really good so they can assist forwards.

Even though Nuri Sahin and Toni Kroos are on the top table of the players with best passing skills, Schweinsteiger is who stands out by being who does it better.

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS WITH BETTER PASSING

Toni Kroos 85 Germany Bayern München
Nuri Sahin 85 Turkey Borussia Dortmund
Ilkay Gündogan 84 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Rafael van der Vaart 84 Netherlands Hamburger SV
    Diego 83 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
Sejad Salihovic 83 Bosnia Herzegovina 1899 Hoffenheim
Mario Götze 80 Germany Bayern München
Lars Bender 80 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Julian Draxler 79 Germany FC Schalke 04

Gotze has the best dribbling of Bundesliga. In the world, only six players are better than him. On Germany, only Ilkay Gündogan e Diego can be compared with him in this aspect.

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS WITH BETTER DRIBBLING
Mario Götze 90 Germany Bayern München
Ilkay Gündogan 87 Germany Borussia Dortmund
    Diego 87 Brazil VfL Wolfsburg
    Thiago 85 Spain Bayern München
Julian Draxler 85 Germany FC Schalke 04
Bastian Schweinsteiger 83 Germany Bayern München

Henrikh Mkhitaryan 83 Armenia Borussia Dortmund
Rafael van der Vaart 82 Netherlands Hamburger SV
Nuri Sahin 82 Turkey Borussia Dortmund

There are three central midfielders that stand out on the Bundesliga. Any of the three is a great player, so the choice depends on the specific tasks we have to them. Bastian Schweinsteiger is a very balanced player that can be used also as a CDM. His box to box style brings quality to any team. Gotze is the most attacking player from this three. He scores more goals and play with the ball always on his feet. Ilkay Gündogan is an amazing choice. His price is half of the price of the other two players making him the right man for who needs a player to assists the forwards. He is the fastest one and has the best average on the two most important attributes.

Diego, Kroos, Mkhitaryan and Boateng are cheaper players that can perform well their roles as central midfielders. In our opinion, the Brazilian is the best choice, even because Kroos is very slow. For those who successfully control his work rates, the Ghanaian can be converted into a good defensive midfielder.

Our cheapest choice falls to Julian Draxler. Even though he isn’t good defensively, the German player is fast dribble and is a good passer.

Bundesliga Right Wingers (RM, RW e RF)

The wingers are responsible for giving game width in the attack. They’re normally very explosive players.

The right side of the midfield is one of the strongest points of Bundesliga based teams. Robben is probably the best right midfielder of the world, but Thomas Muller, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Jefferson Farfán are also good players.

    HIGHEST RATED RIGHT WINGERS
Arjen Robben 88 Netherlands Bayern München
Thomas Müller 85 Germany Bayern München
Jakub Blaszczykowski 83 Poland Borussia Dortmund
Jefferson Farfán 83 Peru FC Schalke 04
Xherdan Shaqiri 80 Switzerland Bayern München
Gonzalo Castro 80 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Sidney Sam 78 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
    Vieirinha 78 Portugal VfL Wolfsburg
Patrick Herrmann 77 Germany Borussia M’gladbach
Nicolai Müller 77 Germany 1. FSV Mainz 05

There are three fundamental attribute on a winger: pace, dribbling and passing.

Pace is probably the biggest weapon of these players. They use it to evade opponents and getting to the other side, many times through sprints on the side lines.

On the Bundesliga, only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Jakub Blaszczykowskithe are faster than Robben. There are two other right midfielders with a pace over 90.

    FASTEST RIGHT WINGERS
Jakub Blaszczykowski 93 Poland Borussia Dortmund
Arjen Robben 92 Netherlands Bayern München
Patrick Herrmann 91 Germany Borussia M’gladbach
Sidney Sam 90 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Jefferson Farfán 88 Peru FC Schalke 04
Nicolai Müller 88 Germany 1. FSV Mainz 05
Xherdan Shaqiri 87 Switzerland Bayern München
Stefan Aigner 85 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
Jonathan Schmid 84 France SC Freiburg
    Vieirinha 83 Portugal VfL Wolfsburg

Just being fast doesn’t cut it to reach the opponents box, having good dribbling to surpass the opponents’ players that appear on the way.

Robben has the best dribbling of Bundesliga. No one can be compared to him in this aspect.

    RIGHT WINGERS WITH BETTER DRIBLLING
Arjen Robben 92 Netherlands Bayern München
Xherdan Shaqiri 86 Switzerland Bayern München
Jefferson Farfán 85 Peru FC Schalke 04
    Vieirinha 84 Portugal VfL Wolfsburg

Thomas Müller 80 Germany Bayern München
Patrick Herrmann 80 Germany Borussia M’gladbach
Gonzalo Castro 79 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen

When reaching the opponents box the winger has to decide what to do. Normally, they choose to cross to the forwards. That is why it’s important for them to have good passing.

Thomas Müller is the player with better passing but Farfán is the best one on crossings. Vieirinha, for example, could’ve been an option to consider filling this slot in virtue of his fantastic pace and dribbling, but he’s affected negatively for missing frequently passes to his more forward team mates.

    RIGHT WINGERS WITH BETTER PASSING
Thomas Müller 81 Germany Bayern München
Arjen Robben 80 Netherlands Bayern München
Jefferson Farfán 80 Peru FC Schalke 04
Gonzalo Castro 80 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Lars Stindl 79 Germany Hannover 96
Jakub Blaszczykowski 78 Poland Borussia Dortmund
Makoto Hasebe 76 Japan 1. FC Nürnberg
Xherdan Shaqiri 74 Switzerland Bayern München
Stefan Aigner 74 Germany Eintracht Frankfurt
Sidney Sam 73 Germany Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Arjen Robben is clearly the most indicated player to occupy this position in a team without budget restraints. He is probably too expensive but, who wants the best needs to buy him.

Thomas Muller is, to us, the second best right midfielder. He is not much fast but he is a balanced player. In formations that request the help of this players in the back line he is really useful due to his high/high work rates and amazing stamina. Another great choice is Jakub Blaszczykowski, the Polish player that stands out with his amazing pace.

Jefferson Farfán and Xherdan Shaqiri are our economic choices. Besides Robben and Blaszczykowski, they are the players with best average in the three most important attributes.

Bundesliga Left Wingers (LM, LW e LF)

The left wingers have exactly the same role as their teammates from the other side.

Ribéry is clearly the best Bundesliga player for this position. Only Marco Reus can be compared with him.

    HIGHEST RATED LEFT WINGERS
Franck Ribéry 90 France Bayern München
Marco Reus 85 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Szabolcs Huszti 78 Hungary Hannover 96

Daniel Caligiuri 76 Germany VfL Wolfsburg
Kevin Großkreutz 76 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Tranquillo Barnetta 76 Switzerland Eintracht Frankfurt

Besides the two players with best ratings, also Eljero Elia have a pace higher than 90. Ribery, Reus and Elia are in fact three of the five fastest left midfielders of the world.

    LEFT WINGERS WITH BETTER PACE
Franck Ribéry 91 France Bayern München
Marco Reus 91 Germany Borussia Dortmund

Ivan Perišic 80 Croatia VfL Wolfsburg
Kevin Großkreutz 80 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Szabolcs Huszti 78 Hungary Hannover 96

Ribéry is clearly the most highlighted left winger in this chapter. In the world and for this position, no one has better dribbling. Reus e Elia have good dribbling too.

    LEFT WINGERS WITH BETTER DRIBBLING

Tranquillo Barnetta 78 Switzerland Eintracht Frankfurt
Václav Pilar 78 Czech Republic SC Freiburg

Ribéry is clearly the best fitted passer between the remaining left wingers. The Venezuelan Juan Arango is also better on passing than the popular Marco Reus.

Franck Ribéry 82 France Bayern München

Daniel Caligiuri 70 Germany VfL Wolfsburg
Eljero Elia 69 Netherlands Werder Bremen

Ribéry is the most expensive player of Bundesliga. His price is prohibits him from lots of budgets, proving the worth of the player. He’s without a doubt the best left winger. Among all the Bundesliga left wingers, he is the one with better dribbling, pace and passing, the three most important attributes. But there is more: he is one of the few that can perform any skill.

For those that don’t want to pay as many coins for the Bayern winger they have Marco Reus. He is not a cheap player but he is a good second choice. Our cheap suggestion is Eljero Elia. Only Ribery and Reus can be better than him on the average of the three most important attributes in a player of this position.

    Bundesliga Forwards (CF e ST)

The forwards are the players on which fall the most responsibility of scoring goals.

There are good forwards on the Bundesliga but no one is as good as Lewandowski. He was one of the players with a highest upgrade compared to FUT 13.

    HIGHEST RATED FORWARDS
Robert Lewandowski 86 Poland Borussia Dortmund
    Klaas-Jan Huntelaar 84 Netherlands FC Schalke 04

Ivica Olic 78 Croatia VfL Wolfsburg
    Cacau 77 Germany VfB Stuttgart
Jan Schlaudraff 77 Germany Hannover 96

To score goals shooting is necessary. If either by foot or head, the most important attribute for a forward are: shooting, heading and pace.

Most goals are scored with the foot so good shooting is a necessary attribute for a forward.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has the best shooting and finishing of the Bundesliga. It is true that he is not a fast forward but he is still an interesting player.

    FORWARDS WITH BETTER SHOOTING
    Klaas-Jan Huntelaar 82 Netherlands FC Schalke 04
Claudio Pizarro 80 Peru Bayern München

On FUT 14, knowing how to head gained another importance. Plenty of goals are born like this.

Unlike with shooting there’s no proportionality between players with high ratings and players with good heading. Of the three players with better heading, only Mandžukic has a rating higher than 80. He is who has better heading on the Bundesliga. Among all the forwards of the world, only Falcão is better than him.

Depending on the style of play and formation having good shooting and heading may not be enough for a striker. Especially in games that privilege counter-attack, pace is a very important attribute.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the fastest forward of the world. Mame Diouf, Adrián Ramos, Didier Ya Konan and Heung-Min Son are also known by their pace but the other attributes are not good enough.

    FORWARDS WITH BETTER PACE

Julian Schieber 76 Germany Borussia Dortmund
Max Kruse 74 Germany Borussia M’gladbach

Robert Lewandowski is the best Bundesliga forward, without any discussion. However, he is a bit expensive forcing many players to choose another forward. That choice is subjective because it depends of the play style of each player. In our opinion, Mandzukic is the best one for who wants a player with good heading, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for who wants a player really really fast and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for who is looking for a finisher.

Far from the quality of these four players, Mame Diouf is our cheapest choice. He is fast and has a great jumping. It is a pity not seeing him shooting with the feet as he does with his head. To fix this problem you may need to buy Ivica Olic.

    Bundesliga Team Suggestions

A lot of people think that this is the most important part of the guide. It’s not. The thing that is really important to know is how to choose player based on their role and style of play that fits each player. And that is made in the previous chapters. The team suggestions that follow are simple graphic indicators of what we wrote previously. They should serve merely as orientation because it’s impossible to build a team that fits everyone. They depend on various factors we don’t know such as budget, formation, style of play and player preferences.

To try and explore the needs of the maximum player as possible we suggest three teams with different budgets and formations: 4-1-2-1-2 with unlimited budget, 4-4-2 with 50k budget and 4-3-3 with a 15k budget.

    • Summary
    • The choice for this team’s player was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
In goal, Neuer is probably the best goalkeeper of FUT 14. In centre back position, Mats Hummels is unquestionable even with a risky high/medium work rate. In order to compensate the lack of speed and the work rates of the German picked Felipe Santana instead of Dante. We suggest to use Dante only on formations that use 5 defenders. The full backs chosen were fast enough and equally balanced. Lahm is untouchable on the right side, while on the left Alaba has no competition.
Schweinsteiger plays very well as CDM and Gundocan is cheaper and better than Mario Gotze.
The two wingers are irreplaceable, the same happens with Lewandowski in the attack. The last spot in the team may be filled by Aubameyang or, for who prefers a player with good heading, by Mandzukic.

    • The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapter.
In goal, René Adler is a cheaper alternative to Neuer. In the defence, the central backs are the same. The full backs are still very fast but much cheaper.
On the midfield, Diego is a good investment but to choose who will play with him is a bit harder. On a 442 formation it may be a good option to use someone more defensive, like Boateng, but if you want to try something more risky, try Mkhitaryan. Thomas Muller and Eljero Elia are to us the best choices to the wings while on the attack we suggest Mandzukic and Aubameyang.

    • Summary
    • The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapter.
In goal Diego Benaglio is a true penny saver. In front of him, Felipe Santana and Sokratis close the path to goal with the precious help of Luiz Gustavo. The Brazilian player is a very useful element in these types of formation for giving defensive security in midfield and setting free team mates to start attacks. Rafinha and Jansen are the full backs.
The biggest new of this team is the double Draxler / Thiago that with their pace, dribbling, and above average passing give width to the attack.
On the last third of the field, Shaqiri and Elia are great players that support the striker Mame Diouf. For who likes to cross to the box, he is the best choice. Otherwise, the spot can be filled by Olic. This position is the one that, for who have more coins, should invest. Mandzukic, for example, would be perfect on this team.

    Hybrid Squads

Building a hybrid team is not usually an easy task. The biggest difficulty is finding key player to join between different leagues.

The Bundesliga is not a good league to hybrid squads. The team with greatest quality is the result of the combination of Bundesliga and BPL. Ozil, Schürrle and Podolski are key players in this connection.

Building a good Hybrid team based in the BBVA and Bundesliga is also possible. Javi Martinez, Dante and Diego are essential in this transition, as it may happen with Khedira and Benzema.

On an inferior level, the Bundesliga still connects reasonably with other leagues, especially with the Serie A and Brazilian players. Klose, Mario Gomez, Dante, Diego, Luiz Gustavo and Felipe Santana have their role in these hybrids.

Follow our other league guide to easily build your hybrid team.

    2. Hello
I used the Brazilian guide and it helped me a lot.
Now I am using a Bundesliga team and I need Help
      I have a 3-5-2 Formation; this one:

      Adler(Weidenfeller)
      Dante/Benatia(Bayern)/Hummels[Boateng/Badstuber/Höwedes]
      Elia[Hustzi]
      Blaszczykowski[Vierinha]
Javi Martinez/Xabi Alonso(Bayern; both are surpisingly cheap)[Kehl/Bender(Both of Dortmund)
Filip Duricic(True meaning of cheap beast)/[Draxler]
      Aubameyang/Olic [Both are unstoppable](Huntelaar/Ramos(Dortmund)

      Suggestions or improvements?
Thanks for all the guides, must visit.

        1. i have around 35k, and I deciced to see if i got some good advice before doing something dumb; but if you say it is ok, I can’t complain, but, I want to buy Reus however, because Hustzi is messy in my team when Elia is banned or injured, and I have played with Reus and it feels like a must have. Anyways, thanks for your direct advice.

      1. Prices have dropped significantly, you go go for Adler/Neuer – Alaba – Dante – Boatang – Riether/Lahm – De Bruyne – Draxler – Elia/Reus – Farfan – Huntelaar – Lewandowski (Mandzukic)

    3. Hello!! I have a 4-4-2 squad

      CB: Hummels , Boateng
      LB:Alaba
      CDM: Gundogan, Schweinsteiger
      LM: Reus
      RM: Blasczykowski
      ST: Aubameyang, Lewandowski

      My second team is:
      GK: Weidenfeller
      RB: Lahm

      LB: Schmelzer
      CDM: Luis Gustavo, L.Bender
      LM: Guardado
      RM: N.Muller
      ST: Diouf, Ramos

What do you think? Any improvements you would make?
      Thanks 🙂

    4. Hi.
      I have a 4-1-2-1-2 squad:
      GK: Adler
      RB: Pizscek
      CB: Boateng ,Sokratis
      LB:Alaba
      CDM: Luis gostavo
      LM: Reus
      RM: Blasczykowski
      CAM: Gotze
      ST: Aubameyang, Lewandowski

      Sugestions?

    5. As promised, we have closed the comments to this article when we reached the 350 comments. It is more than enough to explain everything you need to know about it. It makes no sense to have so many comments since nobody will read all of them and most was asking the same questions. Thank you.

    6. My bundesliga team is pretty much as good as it gets. The only improvements i could get are: SIF Lahm, IF Hummels, IF or SIF Reus, IF or SIF Lewandowski, TOTY Neuer, regular IF or SIF Robben, IF Schweinsteiger and regular IF or TOTY Ribery. So basically just SIF Lahm, Robben, and Ribery, then other IF/TOTY cards (might get TOTY Neuer before Ribery). I play in 352, which means 2 CDMs. Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez are the CDMs while Gundogan, Reus, and Farfan (2nd choice to Robben imo) make up the rest of the midfield. Should i use IF Kevin Prince Boateng instead of Javi Martinez? Or should i keep Javi?

    7. Thank you very much for this guide. I’m new to FIFA UT and have been playing for a couple months now and am just starting to really build my squad and focusing on building a Hybrid Team with a Benzema as my top forward and Schweinstagger as my midfielder. Any pointers would be appreciated.

      1. Hybrid squads is something not easy to make. I suggest you start thinking on leagues or nationalities and not players. Benzema and Schweinstagger don’t have much in common.

    8. Hi i have a full bundles team but with the recent formation change im doing poorly. Heres my team, any suggestions?
      4-3-3(4)
      GK – Neuer
      CBS – Dante, Hummels, Boateng
      RBs – Piszczek, Lahm
      LBs – Alaba, Schmelzer
CMs – Gundogan, Schweinstiger, Javi Martinez
      CAMs – Gotze, Kroos
      LWs – Reus, Guardado
      RWs – Muller, Farfan
      ST – Lewandoski, Mandukic

      1. Hi.
First suggestion is to get another fast CB. You will need to have at least one fast CB in every match, so one in three is not enough. Try Felipe Santana instead of Dante.
Second suggestion: if you want to change somtehing try using Gundogan as CAM and buy Kevin Prince Boateng to play as CDM.
        Good luck !

    9. Hi,
I have a full bundesliga squad and I refuse to spend real money on buying things so I’m constantly poor. I use widenfeller on gk (seems to always make saves that seem insane so I keep him, even with adler on my bench), alaba on lb, hummels and Dante(gave them both chemistry styles that improve pace) on cb, just bought lahm for RB, javi martinez on cdm(who I find to be great at collecting the ball) , Diego on cam, aubamayang and huntelaar on st and muller and cagliari on the wings(cagliari is probably my favourite player in the team right now with his dribbling ability). How do I improve, with the knowledge that I am in utter poverty in fifa and I have only just recently been able to scrape up enough coins to get both alaba and lahm?

      1. Hi.
You love your team, so it is not easy to suggest you any improvements.
Even with a good chemistry style, we still believe that you should not play in a 4xx formation with two slow CB’s. Replacing Dante by Felipe Santana could be a good move. Also, huntelaar may be a good player but if you cross a lot to the box, you should give a try to Mandzukic. He is cheap and a really good player to head the ball.
        Regards

    10. I’m really happy,because I have a very good team.I’m really proud of them,but it was funny,how I got them:
I once buyed 5 Gold packs with 3 three rares. In one pack,I got Lahm(YEAH!!!),but in another pack,I got an IF-Player:Morisson( Silver,74 rated) I thought “Cool,35.000 for Lahm and 5000 from this guy!” So I trated them.Morisson’s starting price was 5.000 coins and immediantly after this, someone wanted him.3 days later,I was online again and saw his current price:100.000(!!!!).I was so happy and suprised. There were only a few minutes left… I went offline and online again a short time later. Then I saw it:”Selling price:229.000 coins(!!!!!!!)I bought Schweinsteiger,Özil,Reus,Götze,Neuer and Lewandowski… I was so happy and lucky…

      1. My formation is 4-5-1(1) Is this good?Which formation would you advice?

        GK:Neuer
        CB:dante and Hummels
        RB:Lahm
        LB:Alaba
        CM:Schweinsteiger
        CAM:Özil and Götze
        LM:Reus
        RM:Müller
        ST:Lewandowski or Gomez

        Adler,Gündogan,Cazorla,Diego,Martinez,Gomez,Klose sit on the bank.

        1. There is no better formation. Which one of us should try to see if it is the right formation or not.
You have a great team but, in our opinion, you should try to replace Dante by a faster CB.
          Regards

    11. Hello!
I still need some advise about my team
      GK:Neuer
      LB:Alaba UP
      CB:Hummels
      CB:Boateng UP
      RB:Lahm
      CDM:Schweinsteiger IF
      CDM:Javi martinez
      CAM:Gundogan/Gotze
      LM:Reus
      RM:Robben
      ST:Lewandowski

Im reading more and more blogs about switching Dante with Hummels. Im using Hummels for all the time but I heard Dante is a beast. What do you think?

Javi Martinez/Bastian Schweinsteiger IF/Kevin Price Boateng? Im using formation with two CDMs…Which two to choose? sometimes saves me Javi’s headers, sometimes Boa’s pace… what do you advise?
What about Kevin Price Boateng IF? worth 180k coins?

      Regards!

      1. Hi.
You don’t need to read more about it. Just ask us.
Hummels is better than Dante. That’s we already have explained in this guide.
For the CDM positions we suggest Schweinsteiger IF and Kevin Prince Boateng. However, if you have a fat budget, you may try Lahm IF as CDM and buy Lukasz Piszczek for the RB position.
Kevin Price Boateng IF is a good card. It is a bit expensive…

        1. Hmmm im thinking about selling Robben and buying Lahm SIF(I stucked at 100k coins now)… Robben was dissapointed me with his strenght and 93 acceleration is a lie(more like 80-85). Muller and Blazsczykowsky looked better for me(except Arjen’s shooting&dribbling *__*) … I forget about Lahm SIF(CDM) so I asked about Kevin Boateng… I already have Pizsczek so Im thinking about that move you recommend about Lahm SIF on CDM and Piszczek on RB

    12. Thanks for all ur help.
Now my team is: left to right 433 formation
      Starting 11
      Neuer
      Hummels
      Boateng up
      Santana
      Schurrel
      Kroos
      Gundogan
      Blazycosci
      Reus
      Lewandowski
      Muller

      Subs and reserves
      Khedira
      Kp Boateng
      Ebert
      Guardado
      Podolski
      Badstuber
      Howdes
      Adler
      Gomez

can u suggest anyone else I can buy.

    13. Hi, this is my squad (4-2-2-2)

      GK: Adler / Bengalio
      LB: Jansen ( very underrated)/Schemlzer
      CB : Howedes & Badstuber /Wollscheid
      RB: Pizcek / Rafinha
CDM: Javi Matinez & Xabi Alonso / S. Bender & Kehl
      CAM: Kroos & L.Bender / Alex Meier
      ST: Kießling & Mandzukic

      Manager: J. Garrido

Who shall I buy next? I can spend maximum about 5000 coins.

      1. Hi.
First of all I’m worried with Xabi Alonso individual chemistry. Individual chemistry is more important than squad chemistry. Try to get 10.
Our suggestions: Felipe Santana, Kevin Prince Boateng as CDM and Diego.

        1. OK, I can sell him off and I can buy either of them depending on my budget/ I have to see first. Thanks! Your the best expert for this. 🙂

        2. Hi again, this is my revamped squad 4222
          GK: Adler
CB: J Boateng and Howedes / Badstuber
          LB: Jansen
          RB: Pizcek
          CDM: Martinez and KP Boateng
CAM: Kroos and Van Dar Vaart
          ST : Huntelaar/Kiessling and Mandzukic
Diego was to expensive and Van Der Vaart cost me just 900 plus Huntelaar was 1000. Boateng was quite expensive 5000 but 83 rated

          1. Quite expensive!!!!!!!! that way u will never get good players if u say 5000 is expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    14. Rodrigo!

I want to sell my bundesliga team and make a hybrid with Liga BBVA and EPL. Can you suggest me some players? I don’t know how to make a good hybrid.

    15. Sorry for off-topic but does someone know when there will be online seasons in FUT 14 for Android?

    16. I don’t recommend to you use Dante and Hummels together in 3-4-3 because they are very slow. Maybe you can try Felipe Santana instead of Dante. If you don’t like heading very much you can use Aubemeyang instead of Gomez, but i don’t know how it affects to your chemistry.

    17. My updated squad
      Adler
      Boateng UP
      Dante
      Hummels
      blazycosci
      Gundogan
      Kroos
      schurrel
      Muller
      Gomez
      Podolski

      3 4 3 formation
      Suggest any changes
I have 20 and can get money fast as I am in season 1

      1. Hi.
If you can get coins easily, save for Neuer, Reus and Lewandowski.
If you play in a 3xx formation, you should have 2 fast CB’s and you have only one. Look to Felipe Santana for example.
        Regards

    18. Hi.
      I have a 4-1-2-1-2 squad:
      GK: Adler/Benaglio
      RB: Lahm/Pizscek
      CB: Hummels, Boateng/ Santana,Sokratis
      LB:Alaba/Jansen
      CDM: Schweinsteiger/Martinez
      LM: Guardado/ Elia
      RM: Blasczykowski/Farfan
      CAM: Gündogan/Diego
      ST: Aubameyang, Lewandowski/Diouf, Mandžukič

What should i buy next? Reus, or Neuer, or someone else?(please not suggest Ribery or Robben they are too expensive)

      1. Rodrigo!

I want to use chemistry styles on my players. Should i buy Reus and Neuer and then buy chemistry style cards, or buy chemistry style cards and then Reus and Neuer?

    19. Hi here’s my setup thus far:
      4-1-2-1-2
      ST-L: Aubemeyang
      ST-R: Lewandowski
      Cam: Gotze
      LM: Reus
      RM: Robben
      Cdm: Gundocan
      LB: Alaba
      CB-L: Sokratis
      CB-R: Santana
      RB: Lahm

Ive gotten hummels twice in packs including his totw card but when playing online i feel like his pace lacks way too much to start him, i felt sokratis was a better bump in pace yet still maintaining high def and heading. Also im not sure if ribery is worth the price in comparison to the stats reus has esp if you use reus for his shooting ability esp outside of the box. But if you have any feedback or suggestions let me know, thanks!

        1. Guardado should be your sub for Reus. Or Ribery can even play sub if you end up liking Reus better. My preference? Ribery, any day.

    20. Hey
Yesterday I opened only one St.patricks pack with coins and I got Robben in it ( lucky me 😀 ). Should I sell it for 420k to buy Schweinsteiger to replace javi Martinez and Neuer to replace Adler? Or should I kept him(on his position are Muller/Błaszczykowsky)?

      1. Don’t sell Robben man! I have a bundesliga squad and my favorite players are Neuer and Robben. Neuer stops 90% of the shots so your defense will be really strong; but Robben’s Finesse shot is awesome. You can try from anywhere, he will make it. This is if you like to cut inside with the wingers and do finesse shots. If you like to run fast on the wings and to centers then sell Robben and buy Blaszykowsky since he is really fast; and with those coins buy Neuer and Schwensteiger. By the way i don’t think Robben is worth more than 400K

      2. my squad:
        Adler
        Lahm,J.Boateng UP,Hummels,Alaba
        javi Martinez,K.P.Boateng
        Robben,Gundogan,Reus
        lewandowski
Jahaziel is right! Robben is perfect for me-his long shots, crosses, dribbling 😀 I wont sell him. Im at 50k and saving for my idol-Neuer 🙂
then Im thinking about replacing one CDM with Schweinsteiger. Do you recommend replacing javi or K.P.Boa? I dont always score with them but when I do, goals are in 90min for equalizer or victory 😀
And one more question-Gotze or Gundogan for CAM? I find Gundogan better in comparing statistic but Gotze is from Bayern, but I havent tried him yet.
        Regards!

    21. Can u suggest changes. I have 10 k
      Gk: adler
cb: Humels , Howdes and badstuber
      lm: schurrel
      cm: fabregas and khedira
      Rm: blazycosci
      rw: muller
      St: gomez
      lw: podolski

      1. Hi.
I don’t know what Fabregas is doing in that team. His chemistry should be awful. Individual chemistry is more important than squad chemistry!
My suggestions: try Falipe Santana and save for Boateng UP. You can replace Fábregas by Henrikh Mkhitaryan or Diego.
        Regards

    22. hi rodrigo i am stuck on what team and league and formation for my playstyle, i like to have pace wingers to cross , need 2 strikers 1 with good long shots and heading and fast i like to sweat. Max 60k

        1. BBVA is also nice for you. Guardado, the 2nd best left winger, is left footed and Di Maria is a great crosser.

    23. Thanks for it but there is only one cdm, who do you think is better for cdm luiz gustavo or javi martinez.

        1. He means you only listed 1 CDM, KP Boateng.
Unless Gundogan was meant to be a CDM, which he is not great at.

    24. I have several teams in different formations but my most used one is my Bundesliga team. 352.
      GK: Weidenfeller
      LCB: Sokratis
      CB: Hummels
      RCB: Boateng UP
      LDM: J. Martinez
      RDM: Luiz Gustavo
      LM: Reus
RM: Farfan (my 2nd choice RM)
      CAM: Gundogan
      LST: Lewandowski
      RST: Aubameyang
I have plenty of good players and play in many different formations. I have Alaba and Piszczek for any formations w/ full backs. Who is my biggest priority: Schweinsteiger, Lahm, or Neuer?

      1. Or i can also sell my Bundesliga team and buy BPL players. I have several great BPL players like Jesus Navas, Clichy, Eto’o, Ramires, Fernandinho, and more.

        1. The only viable option with Lahm is SIF Lahm, which would be quite expensive but nonetheless viable. After Neuer and Schweinsteiger is SIF Lahm or Robben next? I mostly cross so im worried about his left foot, 2 star wf, and low crossing. Approximately same price.

          1. Other options involve selling my Serie A players as well and making a BPL/BBVA hybrid, or selling Serie A players to build my Bundesliga team.

            1. The players i could buy…gonna see just how much i can make selling ALL players then subtract some players off and see what my best option is. SIF Benatia and Reus could bring in 200k alone!

    25. 2 questions Rodrigo.
1.) Im having Adler, should I buy Neuer?
2.) Im having Mandzukic, should I buy Lewandowski?
Im having close to 70k coins for now
      My squad: Adler-Alaba,Hummels,J.Boateng,Lahm-Javi Martinez,K.P.Boateng-Reus,Gundogan,Błaszczykowski-Mandzukic
      Thanks for your time!
      Regards

    26. Finally…i good sub for Reus for those who cant afford Ribery. Guardado!! Buy him Bundesliga-ers!

    27. Hi greate site i want a team 43212 bundesliga my budget is200k anny suggestions greats jurgen

    28. Gk… Cassillas/Buffon. 4/1/2/1/2 Manager…j.low
      RB..abate Cb… Ramos/ thiago silva. Lb..Jordi alba
      Rm..Di Maria Cdm…Ramires Lm…reus

      St.. Etoo. Cam..gotze. St..aubameyang

      Cb..Kombany/ st..benzema/ lb..clichy/ st..Martinez/ cam..digeo/ rw..biabiany / rm..Lucas …

      1. HUm… I think you may have a chemistry problem there. For example: Thiago Silva only links well with Ramires. Don’t focus on getting squad chemistry 100. You should look to individual chemistry 10.

        1. How I get 100 chemistry.. What Should i do ??
Means needed to sober players from the same state? Team? Or what

    29. andrew brown

      Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for your reply, money isn’t really an issue as I have all the players available.

    30. andrew brown

      Hi

      Currently playing a back 4, 1cdm, 2cm, 2 wingers and a cf

who would you recommend for a midfield 3? torn between Martinez as a cdm, schwein and gundogan as cms, or schwein cdm and gotze and gundogan as cms? is boateng better?

    31. frozenflame13

Hello rodrigo, I would like to ask you what would be the right time to buy Robben since he scored a hatrick this week so he will get an SIF card tomorrow?
But is he as good as his overall suggests? I have the money to buy him and used muller and jacub so far and I love to cross, but quite a few of my goals also come from rebounded shots(usually reus takes a shot, keeper saves and muller on the other flank or someone else scores), robben is left footed and has a 2 star weak foot, which raises concerns over how well he crosses with his right and ofcourse his shots too… your thoughts?
Also I used piszchek so far and hes amazing, but since Im planning to buy robben, im thinking about buying lahm too, cuz I cross alot with my full backs too, so if I cut inside with robben, then lahm can help with the crosses, but because of his pace and work rate, is he caught out more than piszchek?

      1. Lahm is a great crosser and can lend a hand, but you need to hold possession long enough for him to reach the offense. Robben’s crosses aren’t good. Farfan is the best crosser on the right, but using a great crosser on the left (either left footed or great WF) then Robben can help. Ribery and Reus are both 4 star WF. But if you need to cross on the dominant foot Lahm is a great choice to play on your right defensive flank.

        1. frozenflame13

So what would you recommend me to do? I have nearly 350k and my bundesliga squad is complete except robben (not buying ribery), so should i buy robben or rather buy some bpl or la liga players for a hybrid, something like this – I already have the bundesliga players from this, so only the right side changes,

          Bpl-bund 433 and la liga-bund 433

          Gk- hart ; casillas
          lb- alaba
          lcb- UP boateng/ Hummels
          rcb- kompany ; ramos
rb- zabaleta or walker ; alves
          lcm- gundogan
          cm- schweinsteiger
rcm- yaya toure/ david silva ; alonso/ modric
          lw- reus
          st- lewandowski
          rw- navas ; di maria

          Sorry if its too confusing

    32. Usman Abdullah

      I play 3-4-2-1
      Neuer
      Dante. Hummels. Lahm
      Ribery. Gundogan. Shweinstiger. Blechekowski
      Reus. Robben
      Lewandowski
I want to play with the three up front but want four in defence which midfielder should I get rid of and which defender should I buy

      1. Hi.
If you want 4 defenders, you should buy Alaba. Maybe you should also think in Felipe Santana instead of Dante. He is much faster and in 4xx formations it may be something important.
        Blechekowski is your weakest midfielder.
        Regards

      1. Jahaziel Rodriguez

Once you play with him you will see why. I bought him a few days ago with the GLOVE Chemistry applied and he is awesome. He stops 80% of the shots. I have won many matches because of him. He makes about 15 saves on each match. I tried Hart but this guy is a monster. He is expensive, close to the 90K but it´s worth it. BUY HIM if you can, you won´t regret it!

    33. Wish Robben were right footed…or at least 4-5 star wf…i normally cross on the right and cut in on the left since left footed left wingers are uncommon. Yet ronaldo is right footed on left side and Robben is left footed on right side. …why…?

          1. Jahaziel Rodriguez

Which Left Wing Defender do you recommend me to substitute Alaba when he gets tired?
Also, Which player do you think would be better for the CAM position: KROOS , Gundogan, or Gotze?

            1. Sorry to bother my friend, but could you please tell me the advantages of Gundogan over Gotze? Because he even has less shooting, dribbling and other things. I just want to know to inform myself and know why this player is better than the other ones. Thanks for your reply

    34. What do you think about this team?
      Formation: 4-3-3(2)
      GK: Adler
      RB: Pizczek
      CB: Hummels
      CB: Boateng
      LB: Alaba
      CDM: Gundogan
      CM: Mkhitaryan
      CM: Draxler
      RW: Blaszcykowski
      LW: Reus
      ST: Aubameyang
      Gonna buy Neuer(GK), Lahm(RB) and Schweinsteiger(CM)
Where do you think I can improve?

      1. Hi.
        It is nice.
Neuer and Schweinsteiger are good improvements but I thin you can use the coins you are thinking to spend on Lahm on other players. Pizczek is a very god RB. You may try Lewandowski but I also suggest another thing: use Gundogan and Schweinsteiger as CMs and buy Kevin Prince Boateng, apply him a CDM card and use him in that position.
        Regards

    35. Rodrigo, try to build a Bundesliga – Premier League hybrid team… your opinión will be appreciated:
      ADLER – GK
      KOMPANY – CB
      DANTE – CB
      HUMMELS – CB
      HAZARD – LM
      DAVID SILVA – CM
      MARTINEZ – CM
      BLASZCYKOWSKI – RM
      WILLIAN – LW
      VAN PERSIE – ST
      ROBBEN – RW
      3-4-3

Planning to invest in Neuer… any other thoughts about this hybrid?

      1. Hola!
If possible, next time try to avoid CAPS please.
About your team, if you got individual chemistry 10 for all your players, then it is great. Neuer would be a good investment.

        1. Thanks, and sorry for the caps! Only 1 player with 9 chem… the others on 10… I also changed Dante for Boateng (83)

    36. I know you why away from IF players, but IF Toprak is pretty affordable. Thoughts on him vs UG Boateng or Hummels?

    37. Garrison Norem

      Hi Rodrigo,
I have just sold my BPL team and have 180k to spend I am looking for a German team. Who should I get?

      1. Adler/Weidenfeller
        Piszcek
        Hummels
        Sokratis
        Alaba
        Javi Martinez
        Diego
        Muller/Farfan/Błaczszykowski
        Reus
        Aubameyang
Huntelaar/Mandzukic/Kroos position changed if his pace isnt an issue
        41212, 442 works as well

        1. You may like Farfan or Jakub better than muller. Farfan is my fav besides Robben because i cross a lot and he has the best crossing and great pace. Try all 3.

    38. Who do you consider to be the best CDM in the game including IF cards and position changing? Without either yaya toure is an obvious win but then SIF Lahm and some CMs can be considered. Is it SIF Lahm? I feel his great crossing would be wasted, and i love good heading on a CDM (Javi Garcia is one of my favs).
      Regards

        1. Wow. Really high strength and stamina. I wish i knew if they applied on mobile, i think they do but i am not sure. I have noticed certain players being able to push others with ease to win an air ball, but i dont know what else strength does. Could you enlighten me?
          Regards

    39. i cant comment at barcley pl i ask here question
i have 220k money and i dont know what is the best team in the barcely pl can u say for me the best option and say for me your tactics? 🙂

    40. who is my next target i have adler (gk) piszchek (rb) hummels(cb) boateng UP (cb) alaba (lb) blaszykowski (rm) schweinsteiger (cdm) gundogan (cdm) diego (cam) reus (lm) aubameyang (st) and my tactic is 4-2-3-1 (2)
and say for me the best tactic for bundesliga? 🙂

    41. For those who dont know, Mame Diouf is the most underrated ST ever. He deserves an 81. Extremely high jumping, great heading, and power header trait. Dont know his strength but in most aerial challenges he ends up in the back, but he out jumps everyone and therefore doesnt need the front. His high pace completes the deal and makes him unique; few players have great heading and pace. Buy him. He is 900.
      Regards

        1. In my opinion Kroos is better if you have a formation with 2 cams and a fast cam as the other. As this is very rare (only 451 and 4222 and maybe something else i am forgetting) Diego being better is a perfectly acceptable, if general, statement.
          Regards

    42. my team, in a 4-3-3, with one cdm and two cms…
      GK- Neuer
      LB-IF Alaba
      CBs- Felipe Santana and Boateng
      RB- Piszczek
      CDM- SIF Lahm
      CMs- Gundogan and Schwein
      LW- Reus
      RW- Robben
      ST- Lewandowki

ok. i have a lot of bundesliga players in my squad, including hummels and dante. however, i like fast defender so these two let me down. i am considering changing to a 3-x-x formation, cuz then i can have boateng, santana and hummels bossing the back, and then also sell if alaba for a tidy price.
secondly, thoughts on the SIF lahm. he is 250k or thee abouts, but his stats are good. the question is, is he worth it or should i invest my money elsewhere?
third of all, do not tell me i need to get ribery. for me, reus is better. ribery only just beats him on passing and beats him on dribbling, but hasn’t got the finishing reus has. the amount of times i have come back inside wth reus and scored from improbable angles is ridiculous. i love him! i am considering for that reason saving up for his in form card, so let me know what you think of that?
that leaves one position; the striker. i do like lewandowski one hell of a lot. i use the hunter chem style on him and his pace seems more like 88, which is soooo good because when i used other chem styles on him his pace let him down a little. however, no longer an issue. however, i am considering investing in his second in form card. his stats look amazing, for example 99 finishing! anyway, let me know what you think of that.
so, that is everything. i also have something like 1.2 million coins, so don’t think of things as out of reach and i can save up for longer if there is a player more expensive you recommend.
oh, and one more thing. should i just sell the team and buildup a bbva team? which one has more class? am i wasting my time due to there only being a limited number of top class players in the bundesliga? because surely soon enough i will have the best team i can possibly have? whereas with bbva that will take a very long time because of messi, ronaldo, iniesta, xavi, bale etc etc. anyway, that is in fact everything (sorry it’s so long). to males things easier for me could you address each of my point in paragraphs like i have? thanks a bunch!

      1. Hi Chris. What a long comment!
        Let’s see:
        1) you have an amazing team and it seems that you are loving it. It makes sense to change to a 3xx formation if you use those 3 CB’s and SIF Lahm. But Boateng needs to be the UP version.
        2) yes, he is a good player. Our opinion about IF cards is that they are too expensive. But if you don’t know where to spend your coins… 🙂
        3) You need to get Ribery. Just kidding. Reus is a superb player. If you are happy with him, keep him. However, you already know our opinion about IF cards.
        4) The same is valid for Lewandowski.
        5) About changing your team, we believe that if you are getting good results, you should not change. BBVA has better non-IF players what is a good thing but there are a couple of weaknesses like the CDM and LM position.
        Regards

          1. i know i noticed when looking at his in game stats. they are phenomonal. but should i sell him and get NIF Lahm or IF Lahm then move to a 3xx and put schwein at cdm???

          2. ok, i ‘ve bought toty lahm and sold his SIF, just because his toty looks so amazing and i couldn’t stop myself. however, if i do change to a 3xx formation then lahm would be sold and his cdm card would be bought back. the question is, do i change formation? i really like having the extra help on either wing and alaba’s in form is god like. should i stick with what i like nd what i’m used to or try and progress in my fifa 14 life?

    43. Hello!
I have 250k money and I do not know which team would be good if you could tell me the best possible team that I would do the maximum price is 250k and league does not matter, and my old one had a team in Liga BBVA. It was not good for me. 🙂

      1. Since you are commenting in the Bundesliga Guide, why don’t you try this one: Neuer, Lahm, Boateng UP, Hummels, Alaba, Kevin Prince Boateng, Thomas MUller, Reus, Gundogan, Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerik Aubameyang

    44. Hi Rodrigo

I have a small question, should i buy Götze or Gundogan for a cm position, both are very good. But there must be a winner. Who is it?
By the way. I love your guides, keep it up!

        1. Boateng UP only has his stat total go up by 3 (correct me if i am wrong). Sokratis isnt better in your opinion?

    45. Hi Rodrigo
Since Jerome Boateng’s new winter upgrade card just came out what do you think would be better:
      Boateng and Hummels at CB
      Boateng and Santana at CB
or Santana and Hummels at CB?

    46. Thanks my friend,
Will buy players you suggested and let you know how they do.
Is the 41212(1) ok ? I see a lot of the top players (leaderboard on my ios devise) use 3412. What do you think?
      Cheers!

        1. Yes your’ right. I wrote a new email instead of hitting the ‘reply’ button.
          Sorry about that.
Thanks for your answer. I’ll stick to the 41212 for now!
And now my team with the new players you suggested.
          Aubameyang Lewandowski
          Kroos
          Schurrle Thomas Muller
          Luiz Gustavo
          Clichy David Luiz Santana Piszczek
          Diego Alves
Chem is 100, finally! Thank you. Rating=77. But Schurrle’s chem is only 7, and Gustavo, Santana, Piszczek chem is 9.
When I replace Santana with Thiago Silva, Gustavo and Piszczek bottom circles turn orange and Chem changes to 96.
What should I do for 10 chems?
Also, I’m not sure about Kroos(Cam). Should I get Gundogan instead?
What do you suggest to strengthen my squad?
          Thanks in advance.
          Take care.

          1. Hi.
For me, Gundogan is better than Kroos.
Rating 77 ? That’s because you have a weak bench probably. Gustavo, Santana, Piszczek will get 10 with the loyalty bonus, not ? If you get 8 to Schurrle, it will be OK too. Thiago Siva is a problem. You need another players to give him good chemistry.
            Regards

            1. Hi,
Ok I’ll try and get Gundogan though he’s v expensive (14,750 on my ipad).
You’re right about the weak bench. that’s why the low rating! but I’m not worried about that.
And your right again about loyalty points, I haven’t played them so many times to get loyalty bonus. I did say youre an expert!! So I guess they’ll be ok after 10games or so.
Re, my defence, I’ve got Hummels and Sokratis. But I’ll keep Santana in my 1st eleven becoz he’s got the best chemistry of the lot. I’m selling Thiago Silva.
Do you think my back four is ok or can I strengthen it more>?
One more quest: should I buy a manager to increase chem? I’ve got a couple thru packs, but they’re no good for the team.
              Thanks for all your help.
              Take care.

            2. Your back four is OK.
You definitely should buy a manager. See which players have lower chemistry and buy a manager with the same nationality or league. For example: if the players with lower chemistry are Schurrle, Gustavo, Santana, Piszczek, try to buy a German manager from the Bundesliga. He will give 1 chemistry point to these players.
              Regards

            3. Hi,
Thanks for your help and suggestions.
I think my team is complete now..even though I lost a couple of online matches!! need more practice. All my players have 10chem except Schurrle who’s on 8 now with the bonus from J.Low.
Planning to get chem styles for all my players, you think thats a good idea?
              Regards..

    47. Hello Rodrigo!
      Formation 4-4-2
      GK:Adler
      RB:Lahm
      CB:Hummels
      CB:santana
      LB:Alaba
      CM:Gundogan
      CM:Schweinsteiger
      LM:Elia
      RM:Muller
      ST:Aubameyang
      ST:Mandzukic

Can i get any advise for squad and future transfers please? Gonna keep my coins for em.

      TY!

    48. Hi Rodrigo,
I’m trying to build a hybrid team, but finding it difficult to reach 100 chemistry.
I already bought some players – some v expensive- but I’m stuck.
As you’re an expert, hopefully you can help me build a good squad.
I generally play an attacking game, usually through the middle. also go for crosses from the wings for variation. unless my opponent is v strong, then I revert to heavy defence and just shoot it upfield hoping to counter attack quickly.
The formation I’m using is 41212(1)
      My players are..
      GK: Marchetti
      LB: Clichy
      CBL: David Luiz /Sokratis/Dante
      CBR: Thiago Silva/Hummels
      CAM: Kroos
No RB, RM, LM or CDM yet.
STs: Lewandowski, Aubameyang and Gomez(got in pk).
So to complete the squad, which players should I get for the missing slots and should I get rid of any? and buy others? Not silly expensive players please. Mid range is ok.
Please help me out, as I can’t wait to get back on the field!
      Thanks,
      Take care.

      1. Hi.
You can not build a team in that way! Before buying players, you have to plan which team you will build.
You can try Gustavo as CDM because he will link well with the Brazilians and with the Bundesliga players. Buy Diego Laves to goal to link with David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Dante and Felipe Santana (buy him) and use Schurlle as LM. You can also try to buy Lukasz Piszczek and Thomas Müller to RB e RM positions.
        Regards

        1. Hi Rodrigo,
I had sent you an email before but I dont see it here. Anyway, I’m writing again .. thanks for your advise re players to get.
Will let you know how it goes.
          Thanks again.
          Take care.

    49. Hello!
      Formation 4-2-3-1(2)
      GK:Adler
      RB:Pizsczek
      CB:Hummels
      CB:Boateng
      LB:Jansen
      CDM:Javi Martinez
      CDM:Luiz Gustavo
      CAM:Gundogan
      LM:Elia
      RM:Błaszczykowski
      ST:Mandzukic/Aubameyang

Can you advise me anything? How about replacement Jansen-Alaba?
      Thanks for your time!
      regards

    50. Is this a good squad I made for around 50k and if not can you tell me how to improve on it? It is a 4-5-1 formation.

      GK: Adler
      LB: Alaba
      CB: Boateng
      CB: Hummels
      RB: Piszczek
      LM: Elia
      CM: Gundogan
      CAM: Diego
      CAM: Boateng
      RM: Błaszczykowski
      ST: Aubameyang
Also could you tell me a good formation if this one is bad.

    51. I am going to be playing a bit and was just wondering what players u recommend on me getting next. Like a list would be really great and thank you for these articles they are really helpful, keep up the good work.

      GK: Adler/Weidenfieller
      RB: Piszeck/Jung
      CB: Hummels/Boateng
      CB: Dante/Subotic
      LB: Alaba/Schafer
      RM: Muller/Blackzykowski
      CM: Kroos/Boateng
      CM: Diego/Mkytinran
      LM: Elia
      ST: Mandzukic/Huntellar
      ST: Aubemeyang/Diouf

      Thanks

      1. Hi.
Good work. It isn’t easy to build teams with players from 3 different leagues and with full chemistry. The only player that we think may not be good enough is Jesus but we know that you can not change by another one because of chemistry.
        Regards

      1. He is a good player for low-budget squads. He was chosen by us to our third team. Thanks to his good performances IRL, he is now two times more expensive. I think he will not get an upgrade because he haven’t any IF card.
        Regards

    52. Hi Rodrigo:

I just want to ask for the highest rated Bundesliga team, and I’ve put Ribery and Robben at LM and RM position, but it happens that the striker gets the ball way more than the midfielders and Robben and Ribery doesn’t get much of the ball. Is it sensible that I put Robben and Ribery in LW and RW so they can do more of attacking? If so, can you give me the best squad with Ribery and Robben at LW and RW position?

      Thx 🙂

    53. Hi Rodrigo,
I am wanting to buy marco reus, and i am wondering what time is the best time to buy him?
Is during the night in the UK the cheapest time? Or is it when lots of people are online? Any help would be great.
      Thanks 😀

    54. Hello,
I have built the following hybrid and wouldlike suggestion for possible improvements :). Thx in advance.

      Its a 433(4)
      Gk: Neuer
      LB: Marcelo
      CB: Dante
      CB: Boateng
      RB: Lahm
      CM: Modric
      CM: Matuidi
      CAM: Cavani
      LW: Ronaldo
      RW: Lucas
      ST: Ibrahimovic

Bench: Felipe Luis, Ramos, Xabi Alonso, Scwheinsteingger, Gundogan, Robben, Lewandowski
      Coach: Low – BBVA

      1. Hi.
Hum… how is the chemistry of this team ? I don’t think you got individual chemistry for all the players.
You have an amazing team as you can imagine. I don’t have suggestions because everything you touch will ruined the chemistry.
        Regards

        1. Hi Rodriguo,
Chemistry is at 100 right now but you are right it is difficult to change something without ruining it. If you find any idea lemme know :).

          1. I just replaced Modric by Xabi Alonso and the CB are now Ramos next to Marcelo and Hummels next to Lahm. It feels quite solid as well. What do you think?

    55. Hi here’s my team. Any suggestions?

      GK-ADLER
      CB-HUMMELS/NALDO
      RB-PISCEK
      LB-ALABA
      CDM-LARS BENDER/?
      CAM-DIEGO
      ST-MANDZUKIC
      RM-MULLER
      LM-PERISIC

I use 4231(2) thank you very much!

      1. Hi.
Don’t get us wrong but we do not allow CAPS in this website. Next time we will delete the comment, OK ?
About your team, it is very similar with other teams we already have analysed here.
We think you need a faster CB. It is the only thing we have to suggest to your team. Also think that there are other good players to the CDM position. Have you ever tried Javi Martinez. If you think he is too slow, try to use Kevin Prince Boateng as CDM. He’s great.
        Regards

    56. Hi I’m new to fifa and I was looking for some sugestions.

I have very low coins are there any cards that would be good to buy and would give me a profit in the future. Also I have a pretty low budget team any suggestions.

    57. i think i am going to make a bundesliga team but i have a few questions.
i want to use the 4141 formation because i really like it.
i, thinking of gotze and gundogan at the cm spots, do you think schweinsteiger will be good at cdm or schould i put him on cm and put javi martinez at cdm.
my other question is about the cb’s i think dante and IF toprak will work out great together. or would you advice someone else? thanks a lot

      1. Hi.
Use Schweinsteiger as CDM. It is better than to use Javi Martinez.
Yes, they will play together. Ömer Toprak IF is probably the best CB Bundesliga player you can have.

        1. thanks a lot! now i have one last question.
i have 80k now and should i buy schweinsteiger or neuer?

    58. I am using a 41212 formation. and my team is
      Gk – Adler
      LB – Alaba
      CB – Dante, Hummels
      RB – Piszcek
      CDM – Schweinsteiger
      LM – Elia
      RM – Blaszczkowski
      CAM – Gotze
      ST – Reus, Lewandowski
Got any suggestions for some changes ? Thanks.

    59. I have 25k and I want to know I should buy. My team is
      Gk: Adler
      Lb: Jansen
      Cb: hummels, Santana
      Rb: rafinha
      cdm: javi Martinez
      Lm: elia
      Rm: blaszczykowsi
      Cam: Diego
      St: aubameyang, mandzukic
I am currently using a 41212 formation. Thanks.

    60. Hi,
I need some help with my team!

      GK: Adler
      LB: Alaba
      CB: Santana
      CB: Hummels
      RB: Piszchek
CDM: KP Boateng (with position change)
      LM: Elia
      CM: Diego
      CM: Gundogan
      RM: Muller/Blaszykowski
      ST: Aubameyang

I dont know which direction to take from here. Which players should i now buy??
Also, I modelled my team on your 50k budget team, and I’m so glad I took your advice by getting Kevin-Prince Boateng, he is sooo good! 😛
      Thank you!

      1. Hi.
It is great to know that you have took advantage from our advices.
You already have a very good team. If you thin you could save many coins, do it to buy Reus. Otherwise, think in one of these three players: Neuer, Lewandowski and Gotze.
        Regards

    61. Who’s best out of Blaszczykowski, Farfan or Muller for a hybrid with bundesliga and serie a

            1. Good formation to have serie a in, Gomez has very good heading. Farfan is better crossing but muller is your best choice. Farfan is a great sub unless you want Lewandowski as striker and need the chemistry. Blasz (not even gonna try to spell it lol) has great pace and dribbling for Lewandowski to pair with. If using Gomez: muller is top. If using Lewandowski: Blasz if chemistry is needed but muller if it causes no damage. Farfan in subs to replace one if fitness drops

    62. Serie A guide…hows it coming ive been waiting for it. Pretty excited to see what u have to say. If you’ve already tested cms/cams what did u think of Borja Valero? He has pretty good stats and his IF card has 88 passing which is insane. Huge bargain (serie a has the only IF cards i care about, SIF Maicon, IF Valero, SIF Benatia). Im interested to see your thoughts and the sooner the better.

        1. Yay! Ive checked every day for it and have been making nice profit on Vela because i can normally have THE LOWEST BIN on the market and still make 1k a card. If they sell early with a full transfer list (rare but optimal) i can make 30000+/hr. Hope his demand doesnt shoot up cuz i said this!

            1. 2 hour mark as of now if i am correct…had to change time back 6 hours but i think that’s correct

    63. gk. Neuer
      CB . Alaba
      CB.Dante
      CB.Boateng
      LM.Elia
      CM.Gundogan
      CM.Gotze
      RM. Shaqiri/Farfan
      RW. Blaszokowski
      ST.Aubemayang
      LW.Reus

    64. I am using a 3-4-1-2 formation…(iOS)
      GK – Neuer(40 k)*
      RCB – Kompany(2 k)*
      CB – Hummels(5 k)
      LCB – Lahm (38k)*
      RM – Navas(15k)*
      CM -Ozil(70k)
      CM – Kroos(5k)
      LM – Reus(Pack)
      CAM – Gundogan(20 k)
      LS – Lewandowski(35 k)
      RS – Muller(7 k)(RF)

      *indicates bargain price
Should I sell Gundogan and buy gotze(45 k)or schweinstieger(75 k)?I can raise my budget up to 100 k)
      Any other suggestions tnx

      Squad rating 86 Chemistry 100

      1. Hi.
You have team chemistry 100 but it is important to ensure individual chemistry 10 (at least 8) for all your players. It doesn’t seem to be the case of Navas and Kompany.
In my opinion you don’t have to sell Gundogan. He is a brilliant player. Your weakest players are Kroos and Muller. Save coins to replace them in the future.
        Regards

      2. Thanks for your suggestions.
However, I sold most of my players and made a new team. Its again a bundesliga bpl hybrid but IMO with higher squad rating(though my top squad is still stuck at 186)

        FORMATION 4-2-3-1(no LM or RM)

        GK-Neuer
        RB – Lahm
        RCB- Hummels
        LCB- Vidic
        LB-Cole
        RDM-Schweinstieger
LDM-Rooney(Converted him to CM at low cost)
        RAM-Gomez(bought as CAM)
CAM-Mata(bargain deal.. Generally sold for 80k but bought him for 50k)
        LAM-Ozil
        ST-Cazorla(Converted to ST)

SUBS-Cavani,Buffon,Fabregas,Diego Costa,Chiellini,Giroud(can’t get rid of him since he’s not tradable),Jefferson(same as giroud)

Well I am aiming for top squad 187… I have come up with some ideas to achieve that
A)Sell Fabregas and buy Thiago Silva
        B)Sell Fabregas and buy Kompany(or Pique(same price)) and a 85 rating guy(preferably Cech))
C)Sell Mata(I would not like to do so)

        And one more thing..
I never understood the whole concept of squad rating ..
What should be the combination of players to achieve a higher rating..

Since I don’t play online matches too much coz of the poor servers I sold off rues and lewa(which I wouldn’t have done otherwise)

If u have any suggestions pls let me know..
        Thanks in advance

        1. Hi!
Nice team. I think both CBs are a bit slow, but if you can live with that…
Why do you want to increase the squad rating ? The important is to have a good team to play and with high chemistry. I would go by option B).
We will release a squad rating guide on February 9th (estimated date). It explains everything you need to know, including how it is calculated.
          Regards

    65. Hi Rodrigo,
I currently have the following side:
      Formation 4-1-4-1.

      Adler
      Jansen
      Hummels
      Santana
      Rafinha
      Martinez
      Elia
      Boeteng
      Diego
      Blaszcykowski
      Aubameyang

Is 4-1-4-1 a good formation to use?
And who are the next 3 players I should try to buy?

      Thanks 🙂

      1. Every formation is a good formation to use. It depends of your play style.
Next 3 buys: Piszczek, Kevin Prince-Boateng (you already have him but try him as CDM), Gundogan and Alaba.
        Regards

    66. Hi, I have around 50k, and am not sure whether to buy schweinsteîger, lewandowski, or neuer. My team is a 41212:
      Mandsukic and aubaumeyang
      Gotze/kroos
      Muller/blasykowski/Elia/ farfan
      Gundogan/Martinez
      Alaba Hummels Subotic Lahm
      Weidenfeller/Adler

    67. I currently have the unlimited budget team, except I can’t afford Ribery or robben. Who would you say is the second best choice in LM and RM? Also are there any informs I could replace with some of the cheaper players in the unlimited budget one? Thanks

      1. Reus and Muller are our second choices for those positions.
IF cards ? It depends of your wallet. We love Philipp Lahm SIF. He can play as CDM and leaves the RB to Lukasz Piszczek. If pace isn’t a problem Toni Kroos IF is also a good choice to the midfield. Alaba has an IF card too but a good value for money is Kevin-Prince Boateng IF, another good option to play as CDM. If you want someone cheaper try Sahin.
        Regards

    68. Hi Rodrigo, here’s my team.
      4-1-2-1-2
      Jansen Dante Hummels Piszczek
      Martinez
      Elia Blaszczikowsky
      Gundogan
      Mandzukic Aubameyang

What do you think? Any area I need to strengthen? Still got 30k with me.

      1. Hi.
        Several suggestions:
        1) You need a GK. 🙂
        2) Dante and Hummels together may be dangerous due to their pace. We suggest Felipe Santana instead of Dante.
        3) Kevin-Prince Boateng as CDM if you are not loving Martinez;
        4) Save that money for Lewandowski. On XBox it would be enough. On PS you will need to save a bit more.
        Regards

        1. Opps, my keeper is Adler.
Thanks for the advice. I’m thinking of building a hybrid, and was wondering which is better, Bundesliga with La Liga or with EPL ?

    69. My 3-5-2 Team:

      Neuer

      Sokratis/Badstuber
      Hummels/F.Santana
      Subotic/Howedes

      Boateng/Javi Martinez
      S.Bender/L.Bender
      Blaszczikowsky/Müller
      Schürrle/GorBkreutz/Alaba
      Gündogan/Draxler
      Meier
      Lewandowsky/Aubameyang
      Mandzukic/Klose

      Rating 83(5 stars)
      Chemstry 100

    70. GK: Courtois
      LB: jansen
      CB:Hummels
      CB:Boateng
      RB:Piszczek
      CDM:Javi Martinez
      CDM:Luiz Gustavo
      LM:Elia
      RM:Blaszczykowski
      ST:Mandzukic

Should I replace Courtois with Adler or no? any other advise?
      Regards

    71. Dear Rodrigo,

      Please kindly,

I have two squads, the first one is Barclay’s (same one as the unlimited posted before)

and the second one is the fallowing :

      https://www.easports.com/fifa/football-club/ultimate-team/show-off?showoffId=h08nLM67nKNlI:ps3

      1. If i played with the first squad, would the 2nd team considered resting and the fitness would be counted and back to 100% again or not?
or I have to put the tired players from squad one in the subs and reserves of squad 2 to get them back to the 100% again.

      2. As you can see I bought Neuer (TOTY) ,Do you think its a waste of money or the difference from 86 > 94 will make a matter?

3.or is it better to get Robben and lewandwski instead of him.

      Remark: I still have around 200k .

4.Any suggestion to be done to the above squad?

      Thanking you in advance..regards

    72. Hi
I must start with saying – amazing guide 😉 I’m going to start playing UT and I decided to make a Bundesliga squad. After reading this guide I thought about a squad like this:
      Formation 4-2-3-1
      GK – Adler
      RB – Rafinha
      CB – Sokratis/Hummels Santana
      LB – Jansen
      CDM – Luiz Gustavo S.Bender/Reinartz
      CAM – Draxler
      RM – Shaqiri
      LM – Elija
      ST – Huntelaar/Mandzukic

I thought about using this squad until I have enough money to buy players like Robben, Ribery etc. So, what do you think? Is a team like this worth buying? Or maybe I should think about different formation (I like attacking trough the middle, but I also enjoy doing crosses, so I am not sure if 4-2-3-1 is a good formation for this playstyle)?

        1. Thanks for the reply 🙂 4-2-3-1 (2) is what I meant, forgot to wirte “(2)” 😀

    73. Kevan Oktavio

Hi rodrigo, truly love your guide. Any advice for my 4-1-2-1-2 squad?

      GK – Adler/weidefeller
      RB – Piszcek/Rafinha
      LB – Alaba/Jansen
      CB – Santana/Subotic
      CB – Boateng/Sokratis
      CDM – Javi Martinez/Boateng
      CAM – Diego/Van Der Vaart/Mkhitaryan
      ST – Aubameyang/Huntelaar
      ST – Mandzukic/Diouf

      Thx.
      LM – Elia/Traore
      RM – Blaszczykowski

      1. You built a great team just with a few thousands of coins. OK, tens of thousands of coins. And you followed our suggestions (?): Boateng as CDM, fast CBs, etc…
At this point I think you don’t need any popular player as Lahm or Lewandowski. You should save for Gundogan first.
        Regards

    74. Hello again. I just completed a hybrid between serie a and bundesliga because i believe great teams can be formed from bundesliga, serie a, and ligue 1 in hybrids or monoleagual squads. Here it is, in 5-3-2:
GK: Marchetti, Handanovic, & Buffon (I rotate them out, theyre all quality)
      LCB: Hummels
      CB: Barzagli
RCB: Chiellini (have Benatia in subs for either serie CB, campagnaro is also a sub for handanovic’s chemistry)
      LWB: Alaba
RWB: SIF Maicon (scored him for 5k, great deal)
      LCM: Sahin
      CM: Gundogan
RCM: Borja Valero (IF card is one of the few IF cards i am considering later on)
      LST: Lewandowski
      RST: Gomez

As i know you love to see people’s ideas & squads i thought you might want to see this. Also: improvements you can give are welcome. What i need is a bench squad. I have Benatia, Campagnaro, Aubameyang, and 2 of my 3 gks in subs/res. other various players fill other spots but most are chemistry damaging. Sahin can become a sub when i get Schweinsteiger, and Gomez & Valero will be subs for tevez and pirlo in the future. I hope you like the team!
      Regards

      1. One more request: could you do a 5xx squad in future guides? 5-2-2-1 has the most unique positions (8 vs 7 and 6) and i always prefer 5 defenders, it allows me 1 “wall” player.

      2. Hello. We agree with you. You can build great teams from these leagues.
I like your team, yes. If you got individual chemistry 10 for all, then you did a really nice job. To the bench I also recommend Miroslav Klose.
5k for SIF Maicon ? Amazing.
        Regards

        1. Thank you:) 59 minute method got me Maicon. He wouldve got much more on quick sell. As to the squad, i will buy klose asap.

    75. Hi! My team right now is a 442 Bundesliga squad. Do you have any suggestions?
      GK: Adler
      CBs: Boateng + Hummels
      LB: Alaba
      RB: Lahm
      LM: Reus
      CMs: Gundogan + Kroos
      RM: Shaqiri
      STs: Aubameyang + Lewandowski
I only have a budget of about 50k, any suggestions would be great. 🙂

    76. I’ve made a 200k bpl squad and can you please tell me who to get, I don’t have any budget so can only replace players with players of equal or less value. Here’s he team: GK cech
      RB walker
      LCB SIF Caulker
      RCB kaboul
      Lb clichy
      CDM fellaini
      CAM cazorla
      LM Willian
      RM navas
      RST etoo
      LST IF soldado

    77. Hi. I was looking to buy schweinsteiger, neuer and gotze taking into consideration the market crash but the prices, I have noticed, havent fallen much, for these players atleast, Im assuming it is cuz of the weekend, do you suggest me to buy these players right now, or wait till after monday? Do you think there will be a considerable drop in prices after monday?

    78. Do you know when next maintenance break will be? It would be awesome for me to get a good BPL player to sell or a good bundesliga player to use.

    79. Hello,
      I am using 433(2) and 433(5)
I would like to know is Lewandovski the best option for st/cf.. I am using Aubameyang or Mandzukic right now.
Also, I am using hummels and dante for cbs but I have seen a lot of times that others use boateng and santana. ( I think because of their pace) Which one you recommend? And for CDM, Schweinsteiger is the best option, isn’t it?

      1. Hi.
Lewandowski is the best one, yes. Mandzukic is great for a play style with crosses and Aubameyang is good for counters. But Lewandowski is better than these two players.
If you have read our guide, you know that we have suggested to not play with Dante and Hummels at the same time. They are both too slow. We prefer Hummels and Santana.
Schweinsteiger is a great choice for CDM but pay attention to his pace. Otherwise, Kevin-Prince Boateng could be a good alternative.
        Regards

    80. hi rodrigo!
i read all your guides and i noticed something.
you always suggest 4-3-3 for cheap teams, 4-4-2 for mid. budget teams and 4-1-2-1-2 for unlimited budget. is there a special reason behind those suggestions?
      thanks a lot!

      greets

      1. Hi.
You are one of those good readers. 🙂
In fact, I have changed it on the Brazilian guide and I will do it like I did now for the future guides because I think it is better like this. I will explain why…
When I suggest these formations it is because they are the most popular with different styles. 41212 is the most popular, so it seems logic to keep with the unlimited budget. I have changed the mid budget to 433 because it is a formation more different from 41212 than the 442. With this I avoid to build two squads too similar. Some of the players of the unlimited budget are the same from the mid budget. Using different formations, with different positions, I am sharing more info.
        Regards

    81. Hi, i already have all the good players in my team, including a toty lahm.
I want to know if it is worth to buy IF cards now and which one should i buy first, for example, should i buy TOTY neuer first and after others or start by the IF cards of lewandowski and alaba?
I dont think that TOTY ribery is good to le btw because he is too expensive and i can use the money to buy other players.

      Thank you

      1. Hi.
I agree with you. Don’t buy the most expensive ones. With that coins you can buy several good players.
About which one should you buy first, I really don’t know. I think you should try to buy this weekend. The prices will drop tomorrow with the TOTY forwards release.
        Regards

        1. I am in some disagreement with Rodrigo in this case. Toty Neuer is amazing from the looks of it and seems to be only 800k. Any player rated 94 is normally much pricier, and toty Neuer has no competition for best gk. I think toty Neuer would be a great investment. Keep in mind regular messi who has the same rating is 2x the price, and this is a toty card with no competition.

            1. I agree with rodrigo, i really like reus and he is somehow cheap, compared to ribery. I really think that he is not worth all those millions.
I will for sure buy neuer this week end, i saw some videos and he is for sure the best GK in the game and i think he is really cheap this week.
I have another question thought and i hope someone have the answer for me.
Is SIF lewandowski worth the gold? Cause he is twice the price of IF lewandowski and this one seems pretty good.

Thx rodrigo and you guys for helping me

    82. Thanks for the guide I have found it very useful.
I have about 5k and wondering what I should spend it on. My team is:
      Gk; Adler
      Cb: hummels, Santana
      Rb: rafinha
      Lb: Jansen
      cdm: Gustavo, Bender
      lm: Elia
      rm: shaqiri
      Cam: draxler
      St: diouf
      I am currently using a 4231 formation
      ;

    83. Any advice on My team;

      GK – NEUER (TOTY)
      LB – ALABA
      CB – BOATENG
      CB – DANTE
      RB – LAHM (TOTY)
      LM – RIBERY
      CDM – JAVI MARTINEZ
      CDM – SCHWEINSTEIGER
      RM – ROBBEN
      ST – GOMEZ
      ST – BEIRHOFF (LEGEND)

      Any advice appreciated!

    84. Hi rodrigo,
I am looking for a team that suits my play style and one that I can enjoy and do well with, I like to abuse crossing and am sweaty, I often have more possession in matches and like overlapping fullbacks. I prefer 2 strikers but it isn’t a need and I’m in div 4 online seasons. I have about a 150k budget and I was wondering if you can try and build me or tell me the right league for a squad and a formation that you think will suit my play style, thanks 🙂

        1. Ok, I currently have 3 budget market crash teams. One is a 4231 and is this: courtois, juanfran, miranda, vertonghen, Gibbs, Gustavo, fellaini, de bruyne, Diego, nainggollan and benteke up top, what do you think of this hybrid?

            1. Since all prices are dropping I think I’ll make a team 442 with cavani and lewandowski up front as they look like they suit me, I’m thinking farfan and lavezzi, matuidi and gundogan, maxwell and pisczek and thiago silva and hummels CB, with Sirius in goal, it is full chem and was wondering what you think of this amd if I couod make it better

    85. When is Serie A guide coming (guessing ligue 1 is after that?) because i need to decide my gk in my hybrid. Between Handanovic, Buffon, and Marchetti so if you can help with that as well that would be great. However, i know Serie A isnt out yet so you may not be able to help yet.

        1. Ok. I think in future guides it would be important to mention that positioning is probably the 3rd most important stat. It is Diego Alves’ weakest point, and i am conceding many goals because of it. Handling in my opinion is 4th.

    86. Nice job on the analysis. I just scored a good deal on Neuer and replaced Adler in my ultimate Bundesliga team. However, that made my overall team rating drop from 84 to 83. Can i conclude, taking all attribute values into account, that Fifa14 technically rates Adler as the better goalkeeper?

        1. Sorry if i haven’t explained very well. I had Adler with a team rating of 84. But when i switch with Neuer on reserves the rating drops to 83. I noticed this unexpected phenomenon with other players too. So even though Neuer is 86 and Adler 84, and Neuer scores 19 points more on the specific skill sum up, Fifa14 seems to value Adler higher. I’m on iOS by the way.

          1. Hi.
I think that you have explained well. That’s what I understood. Check if you have changed one by another without any other changes. The overall of the team depends of the players’ overall from the starting eleven and substitutes.
Maybe you have placed Neuer on the reserves (?).

    87. I currently have your 100k team except for Kiebling(diouf was better for me). Who should I buy next?
      1. Gundogan and Neuer
      2. Gundogan and Lewandowski
      3. Gundogan, Lahm and Alaba
      4. Reus
      5. Schweinsteiger
      6. Neuer and Lewandowski
      7. Gundogan and Gotze

    88. Hey my team is:
      Formation: 4-3-3
      Gk- Neuer
      LB- IF Alaba
      CBS- Boateng&Felipe Santana
      RB- Piszech
      CDMs- SIF Lahm&Schweinsteiger
      CM- Gundogan
      RW- IF Robben
      LW- IF Ribery
      ST- SIF lewandowski
I make this team as a pretty fast one all things considered, and I like that a lot. I always concede on counter attacks but then I’m a counter attacking player. Help would be appreciated! Thanks!

    89. “Ribery, Reus, and Elia are in fact the three fastest left midfielders of the world.”-Did you mean fastest of Bundesliga? I found 15 faster left midfielders and one obvious gold one (also the only gold one): Cristiano Ronaldo has a pace of 93 on his regular, IF, and SIF cards. The fastest player of the game, Mathis Bolly of Ivory Coast, has a pace of 97, and he plays in the secondary German league. Could you fix this error in the guide?

      1. Hi.
On the Introduction of this article we said that we only considered gold players and regular cards. When we wrote that those 3 players were the fastest left midfielders of the world, we mean the 3 fastest LM (LW not included).
To avoid misunderstandings we fixed to “three of the five fastest”, which include the LWs.

        1. Ok thank you for that, it clears things up a bit. I didnt realize that when you said left midfielders it meant only LM because LW is technically considered both a midfielder and a forward.

    90. The question doesn’t solely relate to this feed however I wondered which league/nationality do you believe is the strongesty/best team you play with? Brazilian, BPL, BBVA or Bundesliga?

          1. Hi.
Building a good hybrid is something that takes many time. It is not easy.
We will give you a draft of a good hybrid by 500k and you will work on it (433):
Casillas, Dani Alves, Sergio Ramos, Kompany, Cole, Iniesta, Touré, David Silva, Navas, Willian and Eto’o.

    91. frozenflame13

Hi, I have a bundesliga squad but Im bored of it cuz there arent too many variations so I was thinking of a new hybrid squad

      4-3-3 with CAM

      Gk – Cech
      Rb – Lahm
      Cb – mertsacker
      Cb – kompany
      Lb – ashley cole
      Cm – schweinsteiger
      Cam – ozil
      Cm – mata
      Rw – Robben
      St – Van persie
      Lw – Hazard

It will cost 1 million or lesser than that
what do you think about the squad?

      1. We are now finishing the Brazilian players guide. We hope to publish it in less than one week. Serie A should be the next one. We will try on the second half of the month.

    92. My team in a 4-3-3 formation. Please recommend improvements.
      GK- Neuer
      RB- Lahm
      LB- Alaba
      RCB- Hummels
      LCB- Dante
      LCM- Scweinsteiger
      RCM- Gundogan
      CM- Götze
      RW- Robben
      LW- Reus
      ST- SIF Lewandowski
I don’t have much of a budget, and would like to know what to do about my defence really. Obviously the team is really good already but I can’t get Ribery and although I will save for him I want to make sire the rest of the team is complete first. Or should I sell SIF Lewandowski and buy his normal card and Riberys? Thanks

      1. Great team.
Our opinion about your defence you already know. Use Hummels and Felipe Santana.
We also think that you should not buy IF cards until you have all the good regular cards possible. Ribery first and SIF Lewandowski then.
        Regards

I wished I’d read your guide before starting………

Fifa13 I made a BBVA squad, was lucky enough to get the team of the season Sergio Ramos in a gold pack, which was nice. I also won YaYa Toure in a gold pack and made an awesome Ivory Coast squad.

This season, on Fifa 14, I managed to win Reus and Weidenfeller in gold packs so a Budesliga squad was a no brainer. I’ve pretty much got a decent enough team from buying inexpensive players, just need to expand the subs and reserves bench. Your guide and advice has proven invaluable.
      Many thanks.

    95. Hi, i have a team and need some help on who to buy. I have 10k

    96. Hello, thank you for the guide, it is very great!!!
For my Bundesliga squad, I use a 4-1-2-1-2 formation.
For my first squad, the players I use are:
      ST: Aubameyang
      ST: Mandzukic
      CAM: Diego
      LM: Elia
      RM: Muller
      CDM: Boateng
      LB: Jansen
      CB: Boateng
      CB: Hummels
      RB: Piszczek
      GK: Adler
For my second squad, the players I use are:
      ST: Diouf
      ST: Kiebling
      CAM: Mkhitaryan
      LM: Traore
      RM: Blaszczykowski
      CDM: Javi Martinez
      LB: Schmelzer
      CB: Felipe Santana
      CB: Dante
      RB: Rafinha
      GK: Weidenfeller
Are there anymore adjustments I can make to make my squad better? Thanks

    97. Hey thanks for finally making this guide! Since i last asked about my team i have gone from rated 79 to 82 and my team is much faster and more well balanced. My issue now, however, is that other than by a few new players in bundesliga (Neuer, Götze, Lewandoski, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, and Hummels with Ribery and Robben well out of budget) i dont have much room to build my team. So, i want to build a hybrid with bbva in it. I already have one bbva player but he will be replaced with Neuer. Since last you helped me i was on a 3-5-2 but wingers would drop too deep. So, i am on a 5-2-2-1 that looks like this:
      GK: Diego Alves
      LWB: Alaba
      LCB: Naldo
      CB: Dante
      RCB: Felipe Santana
      RWB: Piszcek
      LCM: Luiz Gustavo
      RCM: Diego
      LW: Reus (amazing)
ST: Aubameyang (Lewandowski or Huntelaar would work better for me since i only pass to my striker instead of sprinting with him except on counterattack)
      RW: Müller

Since i just bought Reus my budget is a bit low but div 1 can bring in coins well until i have enough to trade. I want to make my squad a hybrid but i wish to completely avoid having players with individual chemistry under 7 or 8. As a wing player who likes to play crosses and through balls who should i put in a hybrid?

      1. Yes, we had some problems to publishing this guide. But the wait has ended.
Making an hybrid is something very difficult. Did you have considered Thiago Silva in that team ? He probably will works very well. I can not think in any RW who will connect well in your hybrid.
        Regards

        1. Hello. Thank you for the help. I tried thiago silva and while i enjoyed using him, he was slow and his chemistry was a bit fragile. I disliked that he had to be in the center for a perfect 10 chemistry because i wanted Felipe Santana in my center, he is my fastest CB. So, for hybrid purposes i decided to switch to a bundesliga/serie a hybrid. As i am playing more, however, my play style is changing a lot. I have started to try to force my opponent into a corner and then abuse the overpoweredness of heading. Unfortunately many of my players aren’t good headers and so i only get about 1 out of every 4 corners. Huntelaar is too slow to reach a header, while aubameyang isnt good at it, so crossing isnt working well except on ground. I realize the serie a guide isnt ready yet, but based on the players i have could you help at least with the bundesliga portion? PS: i want Gomez as RST (serie a side will be right side) and have already made that purchase. Sorry for continually changing my requests. PSS: i play on mobile, not a console. Only the wf, skill moves, main stats, and height are shown and i am not sure if other stats like strength (what is its function), vision (what does this do), and work rates. Again, no idea if these apply on mobile.

          1. Hi.
The stats on mobile may be different.
I was surprised by the Thiago Silva slowness. He is the fifth fastest CB on the earth ! Another advise: in a 5xx formation, always place the slowest CB on the centre. Believe us. It is the right thing to do.
We will try to work on the Serie A now.
            Regards

            1. Thank you for that tip. What about heading? Which bundesliga players should i change? Any player is fine as i can apply changes to my bundesliga squad and not use them in the hybrid if i need. I will try again with Dante in center instead of Silva.

            2. Also: Dante is to be replaced with Hummels and Diego and Gustavo will be gundogan and gotze. Silva wont have any good links meaning i will have to sell him later. Neuer will replace Alves.

Love the guid. Although I have diffirent players and priorities in my team, I love to read other people’s opinion about it. I totally agree with yeshish on Nuri Sahin. I’ve had him since I first started my squad and I upgraded every position, exept him. He’s indeed not the fastest player, but a great intercepter of the bal because he is always standing in the right place at the right time (not strange with 86 vision =] ).
My team (I completed it a few weeks ago):
      GK – Adler / Weidenfeller
      RB – Piszczek / Lahm
      RCB – Hummels / Subotic
      LCB – Dante / Höwedes
      LB – Alaba / Jansen
      RM – Blaszczykowski / Farfan
      RCM – Gundogan / Boateng
      LCM – Sahin / Schweinsteiger
      LM – Reus / Elia
      RST – Mandzukic / Huntelaar
      LST – Aubameyang / Lewandowski

My centre backs are quite “slow”, but with the pace of Alaba and Piszczek I can repair a lot of damage done by troughballs. Lewandowski is a good player. But I’m not quite sure what to think of him. I have the feeling that the partnership with Huntelaar makes him a decoy instead of a finisher. I’ve been thinking of pairing him up with, for example the likes of Götze. Hoping that it would boost my playstyle, since Huntelaar is quite useless outside the box. What’s your take on this?

            1. Hi. Sorry for the 5 day late response. I will post again here:

Gotze’s shooting is not good enough to be a striker, but you could try him out. Another option for someone not too worried about pace is Kroos. He has great dribbling, passing, and shooting, while Lewandowski can take pace roles and headers. On defence, i suggest switching Felipe Santana with Dante or, if your play style and budget allows, switching to a 5-2-1-2, 5-2-2-1, or 5-3-2 formation and putting Felipe Santana in the center of the defense. If your budget allows, perhaps switch sayin or Boateng with SIF Lahm who can be position changed to CM. If you switched to 5-3-2 then you could do SIF Lahm, Schweinsteiger, and M. Götze. Manuel Neuer is also a good investment of 55k coins if not changing to 5xx formation or if you dont change any defenders. As everything in the guides, these are suggestions, but i think and hope you can improve your squad with this advice.
              Regards

      1. Thank you.
We also love to hear the opinion of who follow us. We always say that our guide is just an opinion. The choice of the best players depends of too many factors. One of these factors is the play style of each player. In your case, you can play with two slow CBs if you are using fast fullbacks. This is great. But probably most of players don’t have your skills and need at least one fast CB.
About Lewandowski, we think he should play in any Bundesliga based squad with enough budget to him. Mandzukic is the right partner if you cross a lot. But in our opinion, he would play better with Aubameyang. Better than Gotze. But it is only our opinion.
        Regards

        1. Hello,
Can you tell me the best way to make coins? I have around 200k invested into a team right now i really want a lot of coins to make some really great squads and have fun in FUT.

          1. Hi. Read our guides. THIS one specially.
After that you will be ready to make coins easily.

If you are reading this today, Friday, buy all the players you can from this list: Matuidi, Sandro, Lucas Leiva, Julio Cesar, Van Der Vaart, Danny, Felipe Santana, Terry, Soldado, Diego Alves, Sergio Busquets, Alessandrini, Benat, Caceres, Sneidjer, Lampard, Llorente, Armero, Vela. These players are good examples of cheap good players. Their prices will raise almost sure. In less than two weeks you can double your coins.

    99. Great guide! I was waiting for this since quite sometime.
      This is my team 4-4-2
      GK: Adler/ Weidenfeller
      RB: Pizschek/ Rafinha
      CB: Hummels/ Sokratis / Subotic
      LB: Schmelzer
      CM: Sahin/ Gundogan/ Mkhitaryan
      RM: Muller/ Blaszczykowski
      LM: Reus
      ST: Huntelaar/ Aubameyang/ Huntelaar

Neuer, alaba, gotze and schweinsteiger are my next buys.

I would like to suggest a few things though.
Nuri Sahin firstly, may not have the most amazing stats but for barely 1-1.5k is outstanding in the centre. Great ball winner and assists almost every second game. He has decent dribbling and cant be muscled off the ball easily either.

Also, I have 3 forwards, Mandzukic, Aubameyang and Huntelaar, and even though I have almost 250k to spend, Im in 2 minds to buy Lewandowski, cuz these 3 have been amazing. Aubameyang, paired with a decent number 9 is almost unplayable. His stats may not say so but he can head well, finish well, devastating pace, and not only scores a lot of goals, he has the highest assists in my team!
Mandzukic has 65 goals in 66 games for me so that should tell you everything about him (i dont have words for his heading), and on top of that a decent number of assists too.
After buying Huntelaar, I realized he is one of the most underrated and cheapest number 9s in FUT14, he was on of my first buys and he has scored an insane number of goals of every type since then (whether played alone or with another striker) even with horrible service behind him.

In the defence, Subotic paired with Hummels instead of Santana is also a great combination, he’s quick, strong, good defending n headers, and although not as quick as santana, his all round stats compliment those of hummels really well.

What are your thoughts on my team and also on Lewandowski? Is he as good as his price?

      1. Hi.
        Thank you for your feedback.
It is really great to hear more opinions. We all see the players in a different way. We all have a different play style too. The good for me can be bad for you and vice-versa.
I agree with everything, except Sahin probably because we didn’t test him enough times. Aubameyang is amazing but we really love Lewandowski. For us, he is the best ST of Bundesliga. If he is as good as his price ? Depends of the importance that you give to your coins. For us, he has a fair price.
        Regards
